The Lieutenant had been out collecting energy, fairly begrudgingly at this point because of the fact it was winter, the snow was deep in places and almost no sane person was out at this point.
Yet she still hadn't met her quota. She was concerned and didn't want her sister to start on how terrible she was of a negaverse officer. Ever since her sister was promoted she noticed she'd become less kind and interested in dealing with her. Perhaps it was just because she'd always thought they were close but now it seemed she was power hungry and wanted to impress the higher ups to get to the next step.
She was slowly become unsure what she was doing and if she was going to stay where she was. But what other choices were there? She thought back to what the senshi had mentioned that there was a knight she use to be. A sigh, had she really been a knight? Could she have been a knight?
It was a silly thought one that she put too much time into not to realize she was slowly being weighed down not just by her thoughts but by the snow. It had gotten deeper and started clinging to her body. There was a momentary pause, a sneer at the snow and she tried to wipe it off only to find it was sticky and cold. Difficult to remove. "HEY! What gives?" She growled.
However, she noticed still it was sticky in her hands and as she sniffed it -- there was a strange smell of marshmallow? A cautious taste test also told her the same thing. She continued to try to push on hoping she could trudge her way out of the marshmallow snow. "UGHHHHH" Noises of frustration were made on her part as she struggled.
Marshmallow Snow: (5) : Fresh-fallen snow coats Destiny City. It’s pristine and crisp, and it crunches as you walk through it. It may be a few inches deep, but it doesn’t seem to go above your calves when walking. At first, it’s easy enough to walk through, but gradually you realize that it’s getting harder to move. Every step you take feels like the snow is pulling you back in, and if you get a good look you might realize that sticky white fluff is clinging to you. The more you walk, the more it pulls, until you’re almost completely stuck. Something about the snow smells oddly sweet, and the tacky, marshmallow-like snow seems like it’s suddenly become a prison. The more you try to break free, the stickier it gets, and you’d better hope you don’t fall down. The more you struggle the harder it is to escape, but if you manage to stay still for a few minutes, the marshmallow will freeze and crystallize. When you move again, the snow will turn into a powdery dust and you can break free easily. The only good thing about this is that you won’t starve if you get trapped–the snow tastes just like marshmallows.

In some ways, Promethei wondered if he should leave her to struggle.
His position on the Negaverse was interesting and many faceted. For one, one of his husbands had been a member of the Negaverse. He had even made it to Captain. It had also taken a long time for Promethei to mentally accept that Ransomite was indeed the same person as Emain Ablach, to the point where he still found himself repeating the refrain that Ransomite was dead.
He had almost been dead by Promethei's hands, and honestly, he would do it again.
On the other, purification was an important goal for a lot of the people he was close to. Emain Ablach, of course, but also Amoris, and also Nectaris, and also it told him internally that he should at least try. And he had tried, and it had worked.
Hm.
"Howdy," greeted Promethei, very specifically staying outside of the range of the quicksand marshmallow snow pile that the lieutenant seemed stuck in, "you stuck there?"
Would be easy to take her out, but he'd try a different approach.
Carrollite felt the energy signature near by and she started biting her lower lip because she wasn't sure if she really wanted to run into someone from order while she was stuck in this really weird marshmallow snow.
Most of the order hadn't just up and attacked her but there were some that were just overbearing with how much they hated chaos and disagreed with the way things were done. She couldn't help she had to try to at least keep the energy gathering up while she decided what she was doing with her life.
When she was greeted she looked towards Promethei, gave a soft nod and a distracted "Hello."
She was still trying to remove herself from the sticky prison she wasn't sure if moving was making it worse or better. However when he asked if she was stuck there was a pause and she pursed her lips debating on how much of a smart a** reply she should give out. She sighed, ".... you know it's really hard to answer that without being a smart a**."
She said finally, "but yes, unfortunately it does seem I'm in a rather sticky situation."
There was a pause, "Are you here to laugh about it or help a sister out?"

Promethei snorted. Yeah, probably was hard to answer that without being a smartass. But he had to ask the smartass question, so maybe he deserved a smartass answer. However she wanted to approach it was fine, as long as she wasn't attempting to drain his energy while stuck in that position.
He felt still fully energized while he was standing there, and it would have been hilariously foolish for her to try and drain him out as a trapped lieutenant--so easy target--while he stood where he was as a fully realized knight.
"Sticky indeed. Is that ******** marshmallow?" Did he actually want to help a sister out? To some degree this was hilarious. For all the easy power the Negaverse held, she was being feld by the mockery of an attempt at a quicksand by whatever the ******** Destiny City was on. Destiny City was always ridiculous around the secular holidays, and he was glad he had so far avoided it for himself.
Promethei, who had taken an impulse to the nth degree recently, decided to indeed try to help her out. He didn't want to get anywhere near the sticky situation, though, so he looked down at his weapon, calculated the distance of the chain attached to it, "Catch!" and swung it toward her.
Carrollite had finally stilled just trying to figure out how to get out of the situation though she had some of it nibbling as she was trying to figure out what she could do to get out. Stress eating, "Yeah it seems to be marshmallow. Someone spent a lot of money on this if it's not the city just doing what it does. Because it might be one of those fancy marshmallows that they make the same day you order it."
When it seemed the knight finally decided to help her out, and swung his weapon at her she caught it with the hand that didn't have the sticky marshmallow on it and she made sure she had a good grip on it as she tried to wipe off her other hand that'd had the marshmallow mess on it. "Alright, I got it."
It almost felt like the marshmallow was starting to harden and crystalize a bit as she debated trying to pull herself out or wait for the knight to pull before she started move.
