Chaos was never a pleasant aura to feel, even as it brushed the very edges of her senses as she rounded a corner. Ekstrom wrinkled her nose at it, but turned her feet in its general direction and started heading straight for it. It felt quite a bit smaller than hers by comparison, and she wondered if her aura might shoo them off as opposed to make them curious. She hoped the former. Much in the same way that Chaos enjoyed picking off newer knights, there was no reason she couldn’t try to talk a new agent into seeing reason.
The Mercury Knight let out a breath when she saw the agent in question not too far ahead, and being that it was a lieutenant she set her shield on her back before closing the distance, a friendly enough smile on her face as she approached.
To find a teen in place of where she firmly believed only an adult should be given what Chaos did...
It was hard to believe she found yet another reason to dislike Chaos.
Of course, Order also recruited teens…so it was a mixed bucket of feelings that washed over her as she stopped some feet away, looking over the lieutenant while doing her best to keep her heart off of her proverbial sleeve.
“Evening,” came a quieter greeting than she would have liked. But there it was.

The aura that Thulite was faced with was…stronger than she wanted to deal with. It felt…as strong as Borax’s aura but…instead of being somewhat comforting, it was…wrong...and perhaps…
Perhaps that meant she was in some kind of trouble. How could she really, properly defend herself with a ******** bubble wand...
Tossing her long braid over her shoulder, Thulite crossed her arms, keeping her grip on her would be weapon tight, as though it would make her seem more impressive.
“You’re very….blue.” Not a great insult, but hey. She was trying. Sort of. She didn’t know if this was going to end totally poorly, so maybe flattery would get her better results. “Good evening, I suppose. What do you want? Are you here to help me with my energy quota? I would be honored to take some from you, if you’d be so kind.”

“You’re very observant,” came a quick reply, and it may have come off a bit sharper than it really should have. Then again, while she doted on her younger brother she certainly didn’t baby him, and was always among the first to point out when he was potentially screwing up. It was for his own good anyway.
“And I guess just to talk, unless you were looking to pick a fight.” She shrugged at that. “In which case I’ll humor you, but I can promise that you won’t win. At least not on your own.” Not that she intended to thoroughly beat her or anything.
Maybe just a little. Enough to get her to go home early, maybe.
If it came to that.
Until then, though, a conversation seemed like a good idea. If nothing else, maybe she could get her to explain how she wound up on the Chaos side of the line. Though before that…she had to ask.
“How old are you, anyway?"

“Really not sure that my age is any of your business. Why? Are you trying to figure out if I’m legal or something? Are you some kind of creep who fancies young girls?” Truthfully, Thulite wouldn’t say no right away to an older woman, depending on the age. If they were pretty enough at least.
“You’re not really my type so that’s a thing. I much prefer redheads to blondes, sorry to burst your bubble.”
Ah. It was funny because she had a bubble wand…but…
Burst her bubble…
She twisted the plastic and swung the wand, aiming the bubble juice right at the Knight’s eyes.
“Or, really…not so sorry! Hah!” It was funny.

"More like I'm trying to figure out if you should be at home in bed or not," she said, concern settling into her features at how sharp-tongued the young agent was. If she had to guess she must have been a high-schooler...most were this level of defensive at around that age. She certainly was, though she was a lot less aggressive about it. Or at least, she thought she'd been more mild-mannered by comparison.
"I won't even get into—hey!" She turned her face and raised an arm to block as much of the bubble juice coming at her eyes as she could. Thankfully it mostly just splashed her, and she felt a slight sting in her eyes that she did her best to ignore as she quickly moved to swat the bubble wand out of the agent's hands.
"Not funny," she said, taking a step back and shaking her now wet arm while reaching for her shield with her other one. If she wanted a fight, she wouldn't mind taking her down a peg or two, but she mostly hoped it wouldn't come to that at all.
"But if that's all you've got, you're in a little bit of trouble." She'd taken on her big-sister tone that she used on her younger brother, and while she couldn't look as stern as she did with him because of her quickly reddening and irritated eyes, she tried to look stern all the same.
"Now, apologize and promise you'll head home or I'm gonna make you eat dirt."

“You’re going…to make me eat dirt? Wow, okay boomer.” This woman was wrong, it was extremely funny that her idea had worked, and she quietly filed it away for later, and for other times she might need to rough someone up. Her hand was sticky, but that was fine. She could handle that setback, and she wiped the hand on her skirt, still smirking, mind caught on the whole eating dirt comment. It was funny. But, the fact that this was just another older woman who thought she had all the answers and all the power just because she was physically bigger and, well. Legitimently stronger, Thulite could understand that, appreciate it, and still not want to show any respect for this boomer lady. All older women were the same.
“Let me guess. You’re a mom, and your kid is what, three? Four? And right now she thinks you’re everything, let me tell you, with the attitude you have now, she’ll hate you by the time she’s a teenager, so. Chew on that, Boomer. People don’t like being bossed around, or told to go home, or anything, and that tone? Just drop it. You’re not scary. You’re annoying. I know you’ve got strength on me, but I’ll get stronger, I was told that was how this works, but you? You’ll just. Get more and more annoying. It’s a disease with people like you.”

Thankfully given that she had a younger brother, she was used to getting insults hurled at her, granted in a more good-naturedly fashion than this. Her eyes stung and the words grated at her pride and her patience, but she did her best to hold her temper. What did teens know, anyway? They all felt like they knew enough about the world to have valid opinions about it and the adults around them, and granted some did know more and were understandable in their way of thinking, that wasn't the case the majority of the time. Being that she didn't know a thing about the girl, beyond treating her like what she likely was–young and, at least in her case, more than a little stupid.
"Bad guess," she said, her voice growing colder while her grip on the handle of her shield got tighter. "So my feelings aren't as hurt as you're trying to make them. And maybe they don't, doesn't mean they shouldn't be told if it's good for them. I'm not really trying to be scary, but fine. I guess it's just lucky for you, then, that unlike you I don't go around hurling insults at people or trying to put them in their place just because I find them annoying." Her tone had turned absolutely icy cold by the end, and she had set her expression into a steady glare at the young agent before she continued.
"I'll give you one more chance to turn around and go home, or I will seriously beat you into the ground."

Thulite grinned once again, still feeling like she had won the day. This was an obviously unfair fight, and she had stood her ground, held her own. It proved she was right for this role and that was a nice feeling. “Fine. I’ll go. But one day, when I’ve become a General and have like. Power that matches yours? It’s gonna go down. And you will too~ I’m sure of it. I always get what I want.”
Giving a finger wave, the Lieutenant strutted past the Knight, feeling as though she were on top of the world…though. If she had been able to teleport? That would have really sealed the deal…alas. One day.
