Backdated to November 8, takes place after phone a friend

The shared house in Destiny City was a safe enough place to discuss things, was Daesva's final decision before she had sent the message to the Commodore requesting a meeting. The debate had been a short one taking only the walk a few blocks from where she'd met Realta and Solaris before she paused and pulled up her ComTech to begin typing. 'I've been requested to relay a meeting request and possible project to you when you have a moment. Moon senshi related. I can provide more information in person.' had been the simple message of the invite. It felt easier to give only original facts for the message, though she had no doubts or even considerations that she might be risking any danger to anyone by pointedly mentioning the White Moon. The message was to the Commodore. Her confusion over the events around Prince Caedus, the Negaverse…

She'd long decided she still trusted him, even if she still had her various questions. She didn't know enough about any of it to carry any of that anger that'd flared up in all of the chaos. Ha. Because of Chaos.

Daesva still wasn't over seeing that agent crush the other Cadet's starseed.

But she was at least able to separate her anger and frustrations from the matter at hand. Something to keep moving forward with. Besides.

She wanted to work on a ship!

And so, she thus found herself leaned her hip against the dining room table the following day, windows closed up and her without guise. The jeans, loose tee with a faded metal band's logo, and beat up faux leather jacket covered up her bodysuit, and perhaps to anyone outside if they did see her, they might assume she was just someone dressed up for an overly late Halloween thing. Or cosplaying for the blue alien movie series' newest installment that was coming out relatively soon.

She somewhat wanted to see it, if only to be further amused at how humans viewed life outside their world's at large conception of possibilities limited to their planet.

On the table, the small bag sat, the examples of crystal and metal from Solaris set atop it. The blue-silver or the metal snagged the lights in the room and from the holographic screen from her ComTech, highlighting the faint glimmering patterns along its surface. The blue crystal in turn sat quiet and dark, though some of her initial scans had intrigued her with suggestions it could conduct and contain energy if presented the chance. Once more, she wondered what exactly existed on these various homeworlds senshi occupied. What sort of resources did they have the ability to tap into, given the proper assistance and established infrastructure?

It was a fascinating rabbit hole to consider.

Lyndin, prompt and efficient, had been quick to arrive. He entered the dining room right on schedule, dressed in his uniform–though, notably, without the cape.

Rarely, Lyndin rested. As summer slipped to fall, as the days grew shorter and the nights longer, he felt the weight of his fatigue more clearly.

Or, maybe all that time in the Dark Kingdom was finally taking its toll on him.

Regardless, he slept. Not long, but enough that he was able to greet Daesva with a warm smile.

She looked well, all things considered. Interesting fashion, but he wasn’t here to offer critique. Her health was enough to keep him happy.

“Daesva,” he greeted, just before his attention shifted to the bag on the table, and both the holographic screen and the target of her scans. “It’s good to see you. How have you been?” he asked, pulling out a chair across from her and taking a seat.

The sound of footsteps drew her attention up from the ComTech, gaze expectant and steady as the Commodore joined her. She met the smile with a small one of her own--an attempt at her part, more recently, to try and break away from the more... stiff persona she often held for herself.

It wasn't doing her any favors anywhere in her life. Changes were... needed. But good. She hoped.

As it was--she couldn't help herself from looking over his face rapidly. He did the lion's share of everything, she was pretty sure. Keeping everyone safe, working on who knew how many projects... it was hard to not question how he was holding up.

"I'm... well enough." It felt like a lame answer, and she winced slightly at herself. "I've been speaking with some of the White Moon--the chances to visit their... I don't fully understand the perspective of why they refer to them as such as they were born on Earth, but their homeworlds. But it's been fascinating to get the chance to view them in person." Her introduction to Earth had been filled with questions and wariness, but now learning of these other worlds.... she was excited to allow her curiosity to rule more. Safely, but still.

"How have you been managing?" She couldn't help the question that slipped out, gaze again flicking across his features in a clinical fashion. Not that she expected a fully honest response--not a lack of respect, but... Daesva wasn't in a position to likely aid in anything that could be troubling the Commodore. Still. She did hope he was at least getting some rest when he could, and eating.

The corner of Lyndin’s lip twitched. “Well enough.”

Their meeting had been scheduled, so he did not feel as if he were intruding when he slid into the seat across from her. He rested his elbows on the table but didn’t lean on them.

“Human vernacular is a curious thing. But I cannot blame them for feeling a kinship to their world given the nature of their starseeds. I wonder, if it’s not so different from those of your generation, though? Velencya is all you have ever known. In my heart, I still think of Velenia as your homeworld. Though you have not had the chance to experience it yet.”

He contemplated, but not too heavily. If the Velencians would see Velenia as their homeworld one day, they would need to find a way to restore it, first.

The goal seemed too far off to dream.

“Have you had the chance to see many of their worlds yet?”

A brow quirked upward as a smile attempted to break through her composure in turn, catching the turn about of words. Daesva inclined her head in an attempt to politely acknowledge it and... also somewhat hide when the smile did break out briefly before she regained a neutral expression.

She wasn't going to press, but she wasn't going to deny the amusement.

She did pause for a few beats though as he posed the fair point of similarity, and Daesva titled her head slightly as she considered that. Well, the largest difference was, of course, the fact Velencya was synthetic. It was home, yes, but... she knew she harbored a spark of hope that it would be temporary. That their people could go back home at some point. Though... even then, the sudden thought occurred--would it even feel like home standing on Velenia? It was a chilling notion she pushed away, uncomfortable with the sensation of doubt that clung about the edges. She swallowed to clear the tightening in her throat. "I... hadn't considered that," she instead said at length, "but you... do make a very good point about the comparison, I think." She couldn't speak for all of her generation, after all. "I might not have been born on Velenia, and want Velencya to thrive and be safe. That doesn't diminish any joy I would feel to stand there and see Velenia flourish, too."

But... could they maintain both, if that chance came? She'd like that, perhaps, if resources allowed. But she'd also just like to not have anyone being concerned about their home failing out in space...

Daesva had to nearly physically drag herself back to the actual reason she'd wanted to speak with the Commodore.

"Only a couple," she said with a small nod once she'd refocused. "A Mercury Knight took a few of us to her wonder when we were scanning the storms, and a senshi--- ah...." Recollection of how she had pretty much highjacked a ride with Aberdonia to his asteroid brought a bit of color to her cheeks. Not her best moment. But still effective. "We were able to look around an archive on the world--it was interesting to see such a vast difference between both places. I'm looking forward to experiencing more, as I meet more of the White Moon who are comfortable taking me."

Which, she had probably found another... well. A few more, but one was in focus right now. Daesva reached for the bag with the crystal and piece of metal atop it, pushing them towards the Commodore. "The Senshi who reached out to me is Solaris, she sent these samples along with her request to meet you and discus a project. I... find it a rather intriguing one," she admitted, the corners of her lips twitching up despite herself.

"She wanted to discuss with you getting a... ship on her world, restored." Daesva flicked her fingers lightly over her ComTech, the device unfurling holographic screens between them to display scans she'd taken of the plans and various pages of notes. "The clearest information about the craft come from a Mauvian, but the detailed diagrams and notes from the Senshi have been interesting to read over. I think we can fill in the blanks easily enough between the plans and seeing the craft in person." She couldn't help it. Looking over the plans again, the descriptions and depictions of the damages and hopeful restoration goals... it excited her. Visiting another world and learning about their technology? It was glorious to her.

She peered at the Commodore though through the holograms, reminded of a question. "I was surprised Solaris had specifically requested to meet with you. Have you worked on a previous project with her?" Perhaps it was merely a rank thing in Daesva's head, but the woman's request for a specific individual, and not simply anyone available in the Vanguard, had piqued her curiosity. Plus, to ask for the Commodore of all people, busy as he was...
