She'd long gotten over any perceived looks or judgement she once held over the rather ridiculous 'weapons' she could summon, and did frequently practice with the plastic rings and stand they sat on. Really, it was the only reason her aim with the little donuts had gotten so good. Even if having to go pick them back up herself was a pain when she didn't have the full energy to summon them back to herself.
Seraphinite had been here earlier, training himself with his blades, and he'd given her more pointers on hand-to-hand techniques, but in the quiet of the room now... Spectrolite felt a lot more at peace. Just able to focus on her own thing, and wait for whenever Seraphinite would be back from wherever he'd gone off to to pick her up and head back to the city.
Probably the only real thing she disliked about being a lieutenant, really. The lack of teleportation ability. But everything else... okay, and the lack of a real weapon. But everything else beyond that...
She'd certainly gotten used to it, being as she'd been since she'd joined the Negaverse when she was sixteen.
The fake blade struck the dummy, and this time Spectrolite winced somewhat, feeling the force of the hit vibrating up her arm and causing her fingers to tingle. Scowling, she swapped the dagger to her other hand, flexing and shaking out her hand in an attempt to dispel the response. She'd picked up the habit of practicing with two weapons, much like Seraphinite, partly because it was just easier to try and mimic him that way, partly because she did have multiple rings in the stack if she ever used them like that, and not just projectiles...
