Note: things may change as needed after the shop has been running a while like Scale prices, How Hybrids work ect. heart
heart Breeding is held in seasons so they will open every 3-4 months roughly
heart No inbred dragons please
heart Dragons must be adults to breed
heart Dragons can breed with any of the other species
heart A Dragoness must have their previous clutch fully grown before she can breed again
heart Males have no cool down unless it is 2 males in a same sexy breeding
heart Same sex breedings are doable and do not require a surrogate as they are Magical creatures, however the one chosen for the Parent 1's slot will have a cool down like a Dragoness does with a clutch.
heart Some Edits may pass down to babies, however it is Colorist choice as to how they choose to run that part of their Breeding thread.
heart It will cost more than the base price either by bribe or by items for an edited breeding, but it is up to the Colorist as to how much or what items.
heart When you win/get chosen for a breeding slot in a Colorist's thread, you must send your trade before they will begun coloring.
heart Every Colorist is different so please read the Colorist's thread before posting for a breeding.
heart Scale can be used as payment for an unedited breeding.
heart It is Colorist choice if they have a Scale payed breeding slot available or not.
heart Colorists reserve the right to deny anyone service for any reason.
heart If both Dragons in a breeding have no stats, they will not produce Hybrids and it is the Colorists choice how many of the babies will be the species of the mother or father (Providing they aren't the same species).
heart Genders of offspring are Colorist choice
heart Breeding a statless pair of Dragons will result in Colorist choice of how the offspring look in color/pattern.
heart If one of the breeding pair has stats than its offspring will have more of that Dragon's colors/physical traits than the statless one, but still will not produce a Hybrid.
heart If both purebred parents (one species per parent) have stats, the one with the highest FT stat will effect the babies with their looks the most and have more of a chance of producing Hybrids.
heart Hybrids that are born will have the available abilities to choose from of their parents species.
heart It is Colorist choice if a breeding with both parents having stats and are different species from one another, produce Hybrids and how many.
heart When a Colorist chooses to create a Hybrid (or several) in a clutch, they will go off of the highest FT stat between the parents for the edits.
heart The shop will reuse edits created for Hybrids, so you do not own the exclusive rights to the Hybrid's edits, even if it is your breeding that they were created for first.
heart If 2 Hybrids breed and end up with 4 species in the gene pool, they BOTH need stats to produce more hybrids, otherwise the Colorist chooses what of the 4 available species the babies are and how many of which ones/what colors. Thusly statless Hybrids in a breeding will produce purebreds of any of their Heritage Species.
heart If 2 Hybrids breed and they both have stats, the one with the Highest FT stat will effect the clutch the most.
heart If 2 Hybrids breed and both have stats, they will produce at least 1 Hybrid guaranteed, however the colorist may choose to make more or to accept bribes for more than the 1 Hybrid produced.
heart When coloring a Hybrid x Hybrid with stats breeding, the Colorist Can choose if the Hybrid offspring will have 2, 3 or all 4 of the heritage species available, but will still lean more strongly toward the one parent who has the highest FT stat.
heart Hybrids cap at 4 Species by heritage, so no 5 or 6 species Hybrids will be made.
heart Capped clutches at 4 heritage Species will still lean more toward the parent with the Highest FT stat. So breeding a 4 species heritage and another 4 species heritage with stats together will still lean more toward the one with the highest FT stat.
heart Breeding 2 Dragons that are capped to 4 species with stats will produce 2 Hybrids guaranteed, but will still lean more toward the heritage of the parent with the highest FT stat. Also it is Colorist's choice unless bribes are take for it, as to what of the species the Hybrids will have and if it is 2, 3 or 4 and how they translate into the offspring.
heart If 2 capped at 4 species Dragons breed without stats, their offspring could be any of the 8 heritage species and will not produce a Hybrid and are colorist choice.
heart There are no true custom-in Breedings, but you may sway the Colorist to an extent on how they do a breeding with bribes if the Colorist allows. Only being able to bribe in one major aspect of the breeding like a(1) preferred edit or Hybrid species or horns/wings ect. (Considering the FT stat). But the Colorist still has most of the control over the outcome.
