Clue couldn't help but grumble a bit in annoyance as he stared at the monitor. They had so far come up with ways to stay inside like they wanted, such as groceries being delivered, but he had forgotten one very important thing about staying inside all of the time. And it was stuff to do. He had his hobbies of course, but both of them usually required not being inside a house. Football needed a whole indoor field if he were to play it in there, and spray painting required a lot of ventilation and doing it on a space that it was okay to get paint all over in. So what had he tried so far besides staring at the ceiling and reading a few free e-books online? Not much, which is why he was attempting to look up things that they could do online. He looked over at New. "Any of these look good to you?"

Lucky for New that most of his hobbies were indoor ones, things he could do from the comfort of home, the issue was however - he liked to get out. He not only liked to get out but he liked to watch his partner play football and do other things. He knew this would be harder for his partner, he had more outdoor activities, Clue was more social with his hobbies so he wasn't surprised when the other called to him from across the room.
Turning from where he was going over a list of dramas that were due out this month, it was going over the plots and main cast, and tilted his head a bit before smiling. "What have you got on the list?" He questioned standing, stretching, and flopping onto the other in order to have an excuse to press his lips to theirs. "You know we could just get a studio for you to rent out? And there is an indoor sports arena..." He wasn't sure what sports were played there though, they could always find out, but he thought to offer some help to the other before looking to the screen where options, ideas, were listed.
"Mmmm, how active are you looking to be?"[ Because that was a big question, something that would determine what he picked from the list. /color]

Clue smiled at New and made sure to peck him on the cheek for revenge. "Maybe not that far, but at least Yoga. I have to keep in a bit of shape at least. Though it might be nice to get some gym equipment. Maybe an elliptical." But the yoga was definitely the priority. He knew he was most likely going to gain some weight from the winter months anyway. He usually did even going out into the cold. "We could always learn more recipes as well and practice cooking more." If more time was being spent indoors, he certainly had more time to work on what they ate! "If we can find a game we both like to play a lot and with each other, then we will have something that will help keep our brains sharp at least." Not something like Uno or whatever those other relationship-destroying ones were. "You have any suggestions? Besides watching more dramas." He said with a bit of teasing.

"We can do that, I think we have the finances for that purchase if you want." They'd been good, since getting jobs, about saving and making sure they had funds for sudden things - like this. It meant they were both in a better situation than they'd been in during school and certainly before that. "Have you heard of hot yoga? That might address your concern better?" Knowing the real issue, weight gain over the winter, it was something they both faced and he was certain a lot omore people dealt with. The weight flucuation wasn't exactly something New enjoyed but no one else really saw, considering the bulky winter coats they wore, just himself and his partner saw it.
"Ohhh yeah, cooking more sounds good. I know we can look up things on youtube and I know there are places you can go - cooking classes. Those are in person....we could go in person...or see if they offer online classes?" He was certain there were online cooking courses they could take, there had to be, that would be useful. "We could learn to cook more than just food from home." Which is what they always made, because it was familiar and what they both enjoyed, they could take the winter time to explore new flavors and dishes. It would be a good use of time.
"What do you think? Should we risk going out for classes or find online cooking classes?"

"I'll start looking into one if that's okay with you then." He said with a nod, making sure to note it down. "Hot yoga?" He quickly googled it and stifled a little laugh. "I don't think I want to do that. I think if we can add in some indoor exercising that we'll get through it. And we'll want to go outside a lot more often after being cooped up here for so long and in such cold weather." He was worried about their weight, but they could get through it without gaining too much. At least he thought. "We might want to do cooking classes because the ingredients should be there already for us, versus us having to go and get them ourselves, even if they can be delivered. But if you would prefer online ones we can do those. Or maybe we could look up some new recipes for stuff we already have..." He didn't want to admit it but if he could have slept under a rock for all of winter he would. So as much as he wanted to take and learn more cooking, he was unsure if he wanted to do it in the winter and in person. He let out a breath. He knew he had to be more honest with New in terms of what he was really feeling. He knew he could come out as a bit wishy washy to the other at times. "Personally, I don't want to go out during the winter and I think it would be better to do that in spring. But, if you're not feeling it we don't have to stay cooped up inside all of the time. I just feel like we're going to run into more trouble if we go and venture out." He didnt' want to feel unsafe in the city they lived. Sure, there was crime everywhere, but magical, unpredictable events? Those were different.

"Why the laughter?" Looking over at the screen, reading to himself, he smiled. "What? It's in a hot room so we'll be warm." Because he would, of course, join his partner in the hot yoga. "We'd build up a sweat for sure, no worries about freezing." Though wouldn't it be a terrible thing to go to hot yoga and then walk out into the cold right after it? That was how people got sick, at least he thought it was, it didn't sound like a good idea. But a nice hot room did sound nice.
"Mmmm, we can try the cooking online or maybe look up recipes and order what we'll need for it. We should try and branch out to other foods, ones we aren't familiar with." It would give them new things to do this winter, things to talk about, they could spend the winter months exploring new things and gaining some fun expereinces, together, which they could talk and laugh about. "Hot yoga we can do in the spring, when it's safe and the warmth will be nice." Since Spring was still fairly chilly, and they could stay indoors, as he heard the others words and nodded his head.
"Let's figure out the work thing, since we'll take online cooking classes and yoga in the house." And there would be gym equipment soon, thankfully they had the room for such, the new appartment they'd gotten not that long ago was larger which allowed some open space...more than they needed. It was nice to have a bigger place to live in.
"So yoga, working out, cooking classes online, and we should look into other things. Did you want to try and do something online? Like reviews things on youtube or something?" Something fun and creative possibly? Already wrapping his arms about the other and nuzzling against him. "That way we can stay here all winter, in the house, and maybe do something entertaining as well.

"What do you want to try learning to cook? I think whatever we go with, we should stick to one type until we have a good amount. I don't think it would be good to keep hopping in-between styles at least." He knew his partner probably wasn't going to do that, but they had yet to try any cooking classes for food outside of their culture. He just felt it needed to be said. "Yes, spring sounds good for the Hot Yoga." It wouldn't be too cold and it wouldn't be too warm. He agreed with New on everything. Or at least he didn't have any objections or changes he would want to make to everything mentioned so far. He couldn't help but make a small nervous face about doing something online however. Not that he was against using computers and such, but he hadn't yet found anything that would keep him at a computer for a while before he stood up and did something else. He shrugged, making sure not to hit New accidentally. "Maybe not reviewing on Youtube." He didn't want that much attention, good or bad, on himself. "I don't know. I guess that's something else I'll have to look up as well." He sighed and pushed himself into New a bit before reaching up and rubbing the other's arm.

"I agree, I don't think jumping styles would be good either. I'm not sure what I want...maybe something which offers a lot of hearty food options, since we're going into winter." Because hearty foods sounded good, even though it would go against the idea of keeping their weight under control. But such foods were appealing this time of year.
"Hmm, ok maybe not that. But we should find something else we can do at home." And that did limit things, a lot, which New expected but it meant a lot of options would be found online. Taken by surprise by the others movements New took a moment to stare at his partner before moving to embrace them and nuzzle in comfortably as Clue rubbed his arm gently. "We'll find something online to do then, something fun." And they'd figure out work as well, he was certain they'd manage that somehow.

"Hearty food? Sounds interesting." Though they would definitely have to add a lot of healthy options to them as well. Besides the weight gaining, there were other health concerns they needed to keep in mind if they wouldn't be exercising as much as they used to. He made sure to make a mental note to look up what types of foods were considered "hearty". "Definitely. I'm sure there's something for me out there. Just have to find it. And search engines curated towards those who pay the most are not very helpful." He would have to see about finding a better search engine. Or at least one that wasn't so obviously bought. He could hear his stomach growl a bit and he frowned. "Didn't we just eat?" He mumbled to himself. Better get looking on those cooking classes. "Anything you want to do right now?"

"Yeah, I think of those warm and filling things, heavy foods, when I think of hearty foods." European foods like mashed potatoes and some sort of meat and a gravy that was thick. Or meat pies, he'd heard of that before, and stews that were thick and filled with veggies and meat. Those were the sorts of things he thought about - perfect for winter.
"Yeah, I can poke about as well and see if I can't find any forums that mention ideas for staying inside. Maybe ideas from people who live in very cold areas where they can't go out in the winter?" There were places that cold, and people lived there, he didn't understand why people would live in such cold places but they did and he knew it. Maybe there would be information to find on what they did during the winter while shut in.
"I'll wander about online and see what I can find as well. I'm sure we can find something. Maybe even a book club online that meets over video or something." Because that sounded like a good option as well. Laughing as he looked up at his partner, hearing his stomach, and poked him gently. "We did but it seems you're hungry again. We can grab something to eat, maybe order something? And we can look up cooking classes while we wait for food to arrive?"

"Those sound good and filling." He wanted to emphasize the heavy part. He just hoped it would still give the both of them energy and not just make them want to hibernate. "Sounds good and yeah, I think we should get food. But maybe you should order, otherwise I'm going to end up ordering a lot more than we need just because I'm hungry." Sure, they could have leftovers, but he didn't want to be buying half the menu just because his brain said "this looks good, and this too..." "I'll get started on looking for the cooking classes." He said as he started his search on the computer. He just hoped that looking up the classes wouldn't make him feel hungrier. Sleet Tempest Snape ending post from me! Thank you for the rp!
