Clue quickly opened the door, holding his foot out a little to make sure it didn't catch again as he guided his partner inside. After they had gone through that horrendous "game" or whatever it was called he had wanted nothing more than to go home and fall asleep. But he knew his partner was wanting to relax and get cleaned up a bit so once they were situated inside he went to start the bath and came out to look at New. "I'm drawing the bath. Anything else you want me to put in there?" He may have been on the tiles longer than New, but New seemed to look worse than him and he wanted to make sure that neither of them needed to go to a hospital. "Tell me if anything hurts. I don't want you being in pain and not telling me."

New had allowed his partner to help him home, not that he needed it, whilst trying to help the other in return. Clue had afterall spent more time on the game board than he had, somehow he'd gotten lucky though he didn't think either of them lucky considering what they'd been pulled into, but New wasn't one to complain as his partner brought them both into their appartment. Infact New settled for nuzzling into the others neck, sighing lightly as he sought the others body heat, he was freezing and he wanted to be warm.
"Sounds good." A bath sounded more than fine, he was already removing his shoes where he stood in the door way. Nearly falling over as he did so, he had been busy shivering and couldn't manage to keep his balance well enough to remove his shoes as he normally would. "I'm just cold - really ******** cold." And it had started right after the bats, he was certain they'd been the cause of it, he was glad he'd managed to kill so damn many of the things. "Nothing hurts more than you'd expect, considering I was bitten by a bunch of bats. You were also though." And he was now approaching the other and leaning against them, holding onto them, as he laid his head on their shoulder. "You aren't hurt?" Because he hoped not, he wished he could have done more...done anything really. But that invisable wall wouldn't let him help his partner, wouldn't let him leave his little space till he had to move forward again.
"We can share the bath and then bed - we need sleep...and I need heat." He needed the heat from the blankets and Clue, because he planned to use the other as a personal heater.

"Well, superficially hurt, and we'll both probably see some bruises tomorrow. My head is probably still spinning a bit from the noise, but it will pass." He said, helping to remove his partners shoes. He hoped it would at least, he didn't want to be feeling dizzy while he was trying to sleep. He sighed. "I don't like what happened out there. Probably shouldn't be picking up out of place objects from now on, even if it's not the right time for mysterious things to happen." He went and hugged New. "I'm sorry." He felt like this was mostly his fault. It was he, after all, who was wanting to know the mystery behind all of this and now he had dragged New into all of it as well. And the gargoyles weren't much better. "I don't want you to get hurt like this again just because I'm interested in this stuff." He let go of New, making sure that the other was able to keep his balance, before he removed his boots. "Bath should be ready by now."

"The bites from the bats?" because the other had encountered them as well, he'd seen it, and surely he too had been bitten by them. "There were too many, at least one had to have gotten you." And yet he didn't seem to have the same issue with freezing right now - lucky him. "You don't need to apologize, neither of us knew about the dice." And he would have picked it up himself, had he been alone and seen it.
"The mysteries are good though, worth looking into, for now why not ask people online in forums and things? We can compare what many people say." That way they could get answers and hear about several stories, rather than just what they'd seen themselves. It was a good idea anyway, even if they weren't going to be reducing there time out and about exploring this time of year. "We can go out, slowly, if you want but I also know you said we're staying in." Till spring, right? He'd need to look into everything they'd need and where to purchase things online, which grocery stores delivered...especially the asain markets. That would wait till morning though.
"I would have gotten hurt anyway. Now, no more blaming yourself and apologizing. Join me in the bath and then bed."

He shrugged his shoulders a bit. "I burned most of them so I didn't get bit as much, but it definitely feels a bit colder than it should be in here." It was why he wanted to get into the bath as well. He grinned. "Well that would go into my not-going-out until this nonsense is all over plan. So let's spend some more time in here cuddling and whatever and we get through all of this cold stuff... If that's possible." It's not like when they had landed in the village they had been out doing anything in particular. He took the hoodie off that he was wearing followed by his shirt, tossing the former onto a hook, and the latter onto the back of the couch to later be put in the laundry. "Better get in there before I take all the hot water to myself." He said raising an eyebrow at the other and grinning.

"I didn't even think to use magic." Not to mention his magic wouldn't have burnt them, his magic would have however bought him time enough to roll the die and get away from them. It was a shame he hadn't thought about using his magic, he'd been taken by surprise however, and he had failed to use his magic. Maybe Bell was just better at thinking while under attack? That was a good idea, staying indoors till it got warmer out. "We'll make it work, staying in unless it's for work, while ordering everything online and finding out from others about what's going on in the city online." Because it would fulfill all their needs.
Shaking his head he moved quickly at the others threat of taking up all the hot water, not a chance he'd be allowing that, and New was hurrying to strip down while heading for the bathroom and the hot water inside the tub.
"And then bed, right?" He questioned, wanting to make sure. They'd had dinner already, before they'd decided to go out, so there was no need to be out of their bed after a hot soak.

Clue didn't have anything to say about not thinking to use magic. In his mind it was just because he could burn the darn things away. If he did have Itokawa's magic, he probably wouldn't think to use it that often either considering it seemed more useful as a trap than an attack. They each had their own strengths. He would have suggested they practice combining their attacks, but considering they had been separated by an invisible wall, that wouldn't have helped anyway. He was already settling himself in the water, and just waited for his partner to join him. "Yep. Definitely something to do tomorrow." He was done doing a lot of thinking and using brain power tonight. He nodded at New's last question. "Yep, I don't think I'll be able to stay awake much longer anyway." He just had to make sure he didn't fall asleep here, in the nice warm water. He looked over at his partner. "You want me to wash you?"

Climbing into the tub with a sigh, it really was nice and warm and he was so cold, New settled himself right into the others lap while reaching for a wash cloth. "Yeah, I think we should wash each other and get that part done quicker. You look like you're ready to fall asleep here." As he observed the other, and just how worn out and tired they looked.
"Wash hair in the morning or no?" He didn't wash his hair every day, it was too often, and he knew clue was the same but he wasn't sure when he'd last washed his hair. It was best he ask, incase he should be doing that tonight for the other, his own was good since he'd washed his hair the day before. "We don't have anything to do tomorrow morning so we can sleep in." Which would be prefered after tonight, and with how cold he was, he'd very much like to sleep in under the warm bedding while wrapped about his partner.

He grabbed another of the wash clothes before grabbing some soap and starting to wash New, being careful of his wounds. "Tomorrow I think. I'm-" He let out a yawn accidentally. "Too tired." He said, making sure that he got every inch of his partner. "That's good. I think we'll both need it for recovery, then when we wake up we can plan for the rest of the day."

Leaning into the warm wash cloth, warmed by the water, with a sigh. At some point, while washing the others shoulders, New lifted his hand and used the back of his hand to cover up a yawn. "Yeah, I agree. Though I think I'm colder than I am tired." The cold had him wanting their bed more than his tiredness, becaus ehe just wanted to be all bundled up and warm.
"I agree." Nodding his head as he hurried through washing his partner and once the water was draining he set to start the shower spray so they could fully rinse off. "Yes, but lets sleep till noon at least."

"Maybe we should get a heated blanket then? I mean you might be warm by then but it might come in handy later." He said, attempting to hold back how tired he was feeling. "Yep, sounds good." He said standing up and following getting fully cleaned. When they got out and got to bed he would make sure to grab an extra blanket. Sleet Tempest Snape ending post from me! Thank you for the rp!
