The Great Hall has been adorned with ice and snow, plus several beautifully decorated Christmas trees. There are snack tables scattered about, but most of the hall is cleared out for the dance. Festive music is playing and there are no strict dress codes in play. Join in and have a lovely night!

Adelai was absolutely stoked about the Christmas party. It was by far his favorite holiday and everything planned sounded so much fun. He'd asked his girlfriend to come along so they could celebrate together. He also had a gift in hand, which he was quite excited about. He put the small box in his pocket, then pulled on the woolen jumper that his Granna had sent him. Perfect. It was extra cozy. He brushed his hair to try and make himself look tidy, even though the wavy locks would almost certainly return to looking a fluffy mess before long.
Once he was dressed and ready, Adi grabbed his walker to begin shuffling downstairs. He was a bit slow on the stairs, but he didn't mind. There was a reason he'd left early! Now just to get to the Great Hall, since he'd promised to meet Seph here. It was pretty empty so far, but he was sure it'd fill up fast. He waited near the doors, hoping to spot his girlfriend soon. They would have such a fun time!
Persephone finished arranging her last few curls before putting on a pink Santa hat. She was wearing a lot of pink, but well, that wasn't unusual. Plus, pink Christmas was such an aesthetic. She was cosy and cute. What more could a girl want? Plus, Adi would probably like it. Though she was pretty sure he'd like anything. She couldn't help but smile at the thought. She was set to meet him in the Great Hall, so once she was sure she was all ready, she headed up the stairs and into the hall. There was a whole set of Christmas and winter activities, and she couldn't have been more excited. Persephone quickly spotted Adi and smiled brightly. He was all Christmas-y in his sweater, complete with a glowing necklace.
She couldn't help but giggle. "Hi," she beamed. "You're positively glowing." This led her into even more giggles. At least she thought she was funny. And clearly ready to be a dad it would seem. She quickly draped her arms over his shoulders, then gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Happy Christmas." She thought for a second before speaking again, "and Kwanza, and Hanukkah, and Yule, and whatever else people celebrate in the winter."

Adelai grinned happily when he noticed Seph headed into the hall. He laughed when she claimed he was glowing. "Oh, don't worry, I brought one for you too!" He offered her a Christmas lights necklace, a dopey grin on his face. She then stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, so he returned the favor by wrapping his around her lower back. She kissed his cheek, which caused him to blush a bit. She greeted him with a "happy Christmas", but added on several other holidays. "Happy Christmas, Persephone."
He swayed with her for a moment, just happy to spend time with her. He really quite enjoyed being with Seph, after all. "Oh, I got you a Christmas gift. I figured it'd be best to give it to you today, rather than making you wait." He pulled out a small box wrapped in a shimmery pink paper. "I-I really hope you like it. It reminded me of you." Inside was a jewelry box with a pink diamond necklace. He'd found it just before returning back to school for fall and had just been waiting for a perfect time to gift it. When Seb (accidentally) mentioned the Christmas party, Adi knew just what to do. Now he just had to hope she liked it.

This winter celebration was the brainchild of her and Kasamir's and something they'd been working on since they were named Head Students. She wanted to do something memorable like the Flower Dance without simply doing another formal dance. She did love dances though so an element of the dance was pulled forward to their event. Kasamir had the brilliant idea to get a skating rink set up. Alice wasn't coordinated enough to skate, but she loved the idea of people getting to go outside to skate. She'd overseen the decorations inside and made sure that the booths got set up. The Prefects helped getting everything set up, but the ever neurotic blonde had to make sure that everything was correct. Even now, when she was supposed to be enjoying herself, she was worried that there was something missing from one of the booths. She'd checked the snacks table at the dance about ten times and she'd been out to the booths twice already. "Everything is good, everything is good... Right? I should check again though. Just to be positive," the blonde mumbled to herself. She debated heading out into the antechamber to check again, just to make sure. Checking her watch, she huffed a sigh. Sebastian should be here soon. Maybe she could ask him to check the booths again for her so she could double double check the snacks. Oh beans, she also ought to go out to the skating rink and make sure that everything was okay out there too. Alice's hair was done up, but a stray lock of hair was free and she started to nervously tug on it and twirl it around her finger.

Sebastian was pretty excited for the winter party. He'd spent lots of time helping with ideas, setup, and anything else Alice asked of him. Before tonight, he dyed his hair a rich green, then got dressed in the new sweater Mum bought for him. Jazz also stopped him and gave him a jingle-bell bracelet they had made, which Seb proudly wore. It matched his jingle bell earrings, which were only serving to confuse his brain.
He hurried downstairs to the Great Hall, where he was set to meet Alice. Of course, she already looked nervous about the night. His sensitive ears heard her mentioning that she ought to go check on things. He walked over, wrapping his arms around her. "Nope. It's perfect. No checking needed. Kasamir has eyes on the outside stuff, I checked that the booths are fully stocked, and Ella and Lyric are on a carriage ride right now. Everything is fine." Sure, Lyric and Ella were probably preoccupied, and Kas was definitely going to be making kissy-faces with Hesperia... but oh well. He claimed Alice's hands, then leaned in and kissed her nose.

Alice was definitely spiraling and her worry was starting to get out of control. She was pacing and fretting with her hair and it wasn't long before she headed out to check on everything. And then she was enveloped in Sebastian's arms. She hadn't even seen or heard him coming. His warmth enveloped her and she relaxed into his arms, feeling her tensions melting away. Seb said that everything was perfect and in order, she didn't have to check on anything, and Kasamir had eyes on the outside stuff. He even said that Ella and Lyric were on a carriage ride together. Oh, that was good! It wasn't like Alice had been trying to push those two together for a while! Then he said everything was perfect, just like her. A blush colored her cheeks and big blue eyes looked up at him. "Aw Sebby," she said with a sniffle. Slinking her arms around his waist, she buried her face in his chest and gave him the biggest hug. "I was really spiraling there," Alice admitted with a little nervous chuckle. Looking up at him again, she pushed up to her toes to place a kiss on his lips. "You're my knight in shining armor again, Sebby. Do, uh, do you want to dance?" That would distract her from her worrying, right? She was still quite worried that everything needed her supervision, but hopefully her boyfriend could keep her distracted.
