Job are for Dragons who have stats and are part of a shop owned Colony and are for not just entertainment, they are to earn valuable shop currency called Scale. Scale can be spent on many things around the shop: Unedited customs and statless unedited breedings, certain Magic Shop items ect.
Below are the specs of the jobs that we have so far (For Heartspire Colony only) and how they work.
Note: User-made Colonies will have their own job classes where you can earn scale from. They will be found in that Colony's sub-forum.
This one is for Shop owned Colonies and the jobs related to them.

Rules.
heart A Dragon can only have 1 job at a time unless they gain a Champion Class job, then they have 2 and can roll for both. SO you can have a Dragon that has 1 basic or advanced job and 1 Champion class job.

heart If a Dragon resigns from a job, its class in that field restarts if they try to go back to it later, so they will have to start all over.

heart Staff Keeps a list in the Trade thread of how much scale you have made, But please update your journal to reflect your Scale earned and product/hours you have accumulated to trade in for Scale~

heart Do not delete a post, if there is a mistake, edit it marking it as such and post a new post below it to correct it please. Like if you forget to roll with your post ect. Mistakes happen to us all, no harm no foul, just don't delete it please.

Note: yes we know there's only 24 hours in a day, but some of the jobs will earn much more than that in hours, just.. ignore that minecraft level of physics please lol
Basic Job Classes:

Farmer's Hand - Pays 1 Scale per harvested crop -Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many crops are harvested daily in the Sundrop Farming thread (roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% of STM stat to effect how many crops per day are harvested).

Ranch Hand - Pays 1 Scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for what products are harvested daily in the Simmerstone Ranching thread(roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% of STM stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).

Arborist's Helper - Pays 1 Scale per 5 logs - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Logs are harvested daily in the Emerald Arboring thread (roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% of STR stat to effect how many logs per day are harvested).


Mining Assistant - Pays 1 scale per ore mined - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many ores are harvested daily in the Heart Mines thread.(roll 1 d16 daily then add 10% of STR stat to effect how many ores per day are harvested).


Blacksmith's Apprentice - Pays 1 Scale per Ingot smelted - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Ingots are created daily in the Ironhide Crucible thread.(roll 1 d16 daily then add 10% STR stat to effect how many Ingots per day are smelted).


Store Clerk - Pays 1 scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Hours are Worked daily in the Bazaar thread.(roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% of STM stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).


Arena Cleaner - Pays 1 Scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Hours are worked daily in the Coliseum thread.(roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% of the STM stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).


Inventor's Assistant - Pays 1 scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Hours are worked daily in the Innovation Workshop thread.(roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% INT stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).


Alchemist's Apprentice
- Pays 1 Scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many hours are worked daily in the Spiretop Sanctum thread.(roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% INT stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).

Mage's Apprentice - Pays 1 scale per Hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many hours are worked daily in the Crystalline Study thread.(roll 1 d6 daily then add 10% MAG stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).

Advanced Job Classes: (Requires active Basic Job class and rolling at least 16 days out of the month or more in use of the class for at least 6 months)

Arborist- Pays 3 Scale per tree regrown - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Trees are regrown daily in the Emerald Arboring thread (roll 1 d12 daily then add 15% STR stat to effect how many trees per day are regrown).


Miner - Pays 3 scale per ore mined - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many ores are harvested daily in the Heart Mines thread.(roll 1 d12 daily then add 15% of STR stat to effect how many ores per day are harvested).

Store Manager - Pays 3 scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Hours are Worked daily in the Bazaar thread.(roll 1 d8 daily then add 15% of STM stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).


Arena resetter - Pays 3 Scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Hours are worked daily in the Coliseum thread.(roll 1 d8 daily then add 15% of STM stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).


Inventor - Pays 3 scale per hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Hours are worked daily in the Innovation Workshop thread.(roll 1 d8 daily then add 15% of INT stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).


Alchemist - Pays 3 Scale per Potion Created - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many Potions are created daily in the Spiretop Sanctum thread.(roll 1 d10 daily then add 15% INT stat to effect how many potions per day are generated).

Mage - Pays 3 scale per Hour worked - Turned in monthly in the Trade thread, from rolling for how many hours are worked daily in the Crystalline Study thread.(roll 1 d10 daily then add 15% of MAG stat to effect how many hours per day are worked).

Champion Job Classes: ( These are specialized job classes that are different from the others and are more complex, achievable after 12 months of an advanced job class, can be held at the same time as an Advanced Job class)

Gladiator - Pays 50 scale per won battle - Turned in every 2 weeks in the Trade thread, Battle takes place in the Arena with another user as the opponent (Cap 3 battles a week). ( Still working on the battle system, will utilize stats)
After winning a battle, the winner gets a Token which is traded in, worth 50 scale

Gauntlet Runner - Pays 50 scale per won Gauntlet - Turned in every 2 weeks in the Trade thread, Gauntlet is ran by Beating another user to the end of the Gauntlet (Cap 3 times a week) ( Still working on the Gauntlet system, will utilize stats)
After winning a Gauntlet, the winner gets a Token which is traded in, worth 50 scale

Racer - Pays 50 scale per won race - Turned in every 2 weeks in the Trade thread, Race takes place in the Arena with another user (up to 5) as the opponent(s). ( Still working on the racing system, will utilize stats)
After winning a Race, the winner gets a Token which is traded in, worth 50 scale

Explorer - Pays 50 scale per Succesful Exploration - Turned in every 2 weeks in the Trade thread, Exploring is done in the Wilds thread with no opponent, but other users can explore with you.(Cap 3 times a week) ( Still working on the Exploring system)
After returning from exploring, the winner gets a Token which is traded in, worth 50 scale.

Professor - Pays 50 scale per lecture - Turned in every 2 weeks in the Trade thread, Lecturing is done in the Primascale Institute thread. (Cap 3 times a week) ( Still working on the Lecturing system)
After a lecture, the Professor gets a Token which is traded in, worth 50 scale.

Gemologist - Pays 50 scale per Appraisal - Turned in every 2 weeks in the Trade thread, Appraisals are held in the Prismatorium thread with no opponent. (Cap 3 times a week) ( Still working on the Appraisal system)
After an Appraisal, the Gemologist gets a Token which is traded in, worth 50 scale.
