Ultimately, it’s a horrible experience; even if your skin feels oddly refreshed, this is the worst mud bath you’ll ever have. "Thanks for coming with me this time. It's been... a lot." Bell said as he and Itokawa were attempting to gather energy. So far Bellerophon had run into numerous strange and magical things and he was just about DONE with all of this nonsense and going "outside" during October, but Itokawa had finally been able to join him and he felt much more at ease with his boyfriend with him. "There's just too many strange things going on that, as much as I want to look into them, it's hard to even focus on one, let alone all of the ones that try to attack people." He had not mentioned all of the scraps he had gone into with all of the strange creatures lately, but New had been able to tell he had gotten into a few fights without him.

"You should have asked sooner." Gentle words though admonishing, he never spoke harshly with his partner, as he shook his head with a smile. "We should continue going out together for energy gathering." Make it a date, or something like that, it was safer for them both and he wanted the other safe. "This never happened back home, it is one thing I miss about Thailand." And about the only thing really. His parents were still there, which was fine, as he had moved ehre to live with an aunt and uncle till he'd been able to li ve on his own.
There wasn't much he missed about Thailand, so very little, he hadn't been back since he'd left. At least there it was safe of this sort of nonsense, though it wasn't safe from other things, it might be worth it to visit family next year? The idea had his stomach churning and forming knots, nerves, he didn't like the idea very much but if it was safer. Reaching for the others hand he let his fingers nearly tangle with the others, giving a gentle squeeze.
"You act as if you don't like all these things, that you are done with them as you put it, but you want to look into them and explore them." Teasing, gentle, and laughing as he bumped his shoulder into the others. This, his partner, was one more good thing about Thailand. Things had been bad there, enoug h that he'd fled, but Clue had come here and they'd found each other...and found something unexpected together, something he knew would not have exsisted had they remained in Thailand. Would returning there, for a visit, ruin things? Would it put a strain on things? He didn't think anything would seperate them but strain was possible.
"What would you say to visiting our families next year?" Did Clue's family know about them? He didn't think so, he didn't remember his partner ever mentioning it, and he'd never told his own family. Should they? It might not be a terrible idea though doing so in person would be better - more polite and proper...more respectful to their families. Deciding he needed to distract himself, as nerves started to eat as his stomach, he shifted topics again. "So what are we investigating tonight?"

Bell couldn't help but blush and mumble something about not wanting to bother Itokawa. "You're right. It would be better to have company, especially you." Sometimes he wanted to be alone just for some relaxing all by himself, but he got that while they were living together. What was he going out and gathering energy on his own for? He hadn't wanted to bother Itokawa when he was busy, but that didn't mean Bell had to go out. Why he hadn't just waited for the other before going out and exploring... Maybe it was the time of year. These strange magical occurrences only happened during certain parts and were there for only a little bit. And yet he still hadn't learned anything. Other than they were new, stayed the same, or changed just so slightly that it became a new problem to deal with. "That's true." They wouldn't be having to go out and do all of this magical stuff over there. He also missed the scenery as well but as Itokawa intertwine their fingers and squeeze his hand he gave a squeeze back. There wasn't enough reason for Bell to want to go back. "I do. I just want to know where these things come from. It's like there's some other type of magic out there just out of our reach that decides to show itself in the world at certain times." He shook his head. "Maybe a different reality or something." Which was very possible, but not something he could go and find on his own. He grunted about visiting families. "I mean I rarely keep in touch with mine, they really only care about what my older brother does. I don't think it would be worth it for my own family." The most he did was text his older brother. They were supportive of each other, but the rest of his family might as well have not existed. "If you think you're family would be okay with it, then we can go and visit yours. If you really want to visit mine, it's just going to be my brother and his wife and kids." At least they were supportive, and also sent him money to buy things in America to send back to their kids. They were probably a bit spoiled, but Bell didn't mind. He shrugged his shoulders as Itokawa asked about the investigation. "I don't know, anything that seems out of the ordinary I guess." It had just rained so the area was still wet around them and they were having to dodge puddles every so often. "Nothing has given me a clue on the origins of any of this so far. They all tend to attack or disappear."

"Mmm, the mystery is what attracts you, I can appreciate that." There was an air of mystery which blanketed this time of year, and not just because of what magical things happened here, it had been something he'd noted since moving to this country. This time of year had a sort of mystery and magic to it...an air to it which he loved. That mystery somehow made this time of year feel just abit more...romantic, maybe it was also the chill in the air which made him want to cuddle under a blanket more? Likely.
"Oh?" They hadn't talked much about their families, it had been a topic avoided despite how long they'd been dating and living together. "Mine doesn't know I'm gay...they don't know exactly why I left."Leaning in to press his cheek to the others shoudler as they walked, leaning his head on the others shoulder. "Maybe visiting wouldn' tbe good...we'd have to hide around my family. Unless you'd like to visit your brother and his family." They could do that, it seemed the only safe option really. Unless they just wanted to visit their home country for the sake of it. He'd fled there without any friends really, because of how he'd fallen out of the closet to them. So he didn't have friends to visit there.
"I've heard the idea that it could be a build up of magic...and while the build up could be a thing, considering how many magical people are in this city, it makes no sense that it's only certain times of year. Unless we go with the idea of certain times of year, certain holidays, being magic or more magic - like Halloween." Thinking of ancient Halloween and it's origins, since he'd put on the history of Halloween last ngiht for them to watch together. He'd enjoyed the show, and it did get him thinking.
"But I think I like the idea of it being something bigger...w.given the vastness of things. Senshi and knights reborn souls from the past...or descended from senshi and knights who once lived amongst the stars. I like it's magical in a way I can't put into words..." Just feeling so small in such a vast, and magical ,universe....to look up at the stars and know that there was so much more out there...and had once been even more. Another squeeze as he spoke, smiling, he liked magic and was glad they had it in common and neither one of them was involved as much in the war. Their faction didn't get as involved...it was safer. They could enjoy the magic and not fight as much.
"I just wish we could see space." A soft sigh as he tiled his head so he could look up at his partner. "Oh, and I heard something about the ground...fresh pavement." But not mud, that he hadn't heard about....a shame really.

Bell shook his head. "Nah. If my brother wants a visit he can afford to come over here." Not that he didn't care for his brother, but he was fine just video chatting with him sometimes. But texting was better. He was glad that Itokawa put the family thing to rest though. He wished that his family could have been supportive, but things didn't change so easily, or quickly as he had learned. He couldn't help but chuckle at the idea of a build up of magic. Wouldn't that mean that it would be a type of magic that they could actually feel? Luckily New didn't believe it either and it was also dismissed as well. "I think it is something bigger. Even if we don't know much about space, there's still other things we don't know a lot about. It's not like anyone has studied magic and gotten to write a paper on it or something and had the scientific community agree on it." He squeezed the other's hand back again. "It would be too sad if there wasn't anything else." "Yeah... I do too. As much as I like being a Dark Mirror, I do wish I could see my Homeworld, in whatever state it is right now, even if it is totally destroyed." He had gotten that one fiery item that was said to have come from his Homeworld, but he wasn't sure what to do with it other than put it up for decoration. Unless someone else could reach his Homeworld, it would have to wait for the next Bellerophon. "Pavement? Well at least if we step in it we don't have to worry about ruining our clothes. Is it somewhere along here?" He still didn't want to step in it if it was.

"It would be nice if magic could be studied, thoug hthat means we'd all be studied and subjects of some sort. And humans are huamsn...our nature isn't always the best. It might be where they try and replicate it in other people, maybe not making other people senshi or kngiths but giving them magic? I could see it going bad." Though he could also see people popping up with magic, all kidns of magic, and then how to get them to learn about that magic? It wasn't like they even knew about it, just their own really.
"Not to say I wouldn't like if this magic, whatever cosmic magic this may be, didn't decide to bless other people...not making them senshi or knights but rather just people with magic." No ties to planets and wonders, not like they all had. It would at least make things a bit...easier, less to hide. "
"I like our court, it's safer, but I would like to see space. Perhaps, being in our court, we could see space even if it's not our homeworld." Find someone in order who might be kind enough to show them some small piece of space. "All we can do is imagine what our home worlds might be like...what someone else can make them." Because he was fine where he was, though he knew a change was possible, he didn't want it.
"No where in particular, I've heard about it just turning up randomly around the city. Sidewalk being worked on and something with the cement - foot prints just turning up. This city is strange." It was a shame that he was hiding from his family and Clue apparently had issues with his own, save for his brother and their family. At least they had each other and that slice of home which they each carried within themselves. "Tomorrow, after work, we should go grocery shopping together." The asain market, of course, it was nice to be around familiar foods, and some that weren't so familiar, with smells and flavors on sample that they knew. The voices, the words, and faces which were familiar to them. It was nice when he got homesick, as he did get from time to time. They also needed some more food in their appartment, but it would wait till tomorrow.
Not looking down at the ground he felt when the ground gave, mud fro mthe fell of it, and he yanked his foot back. "Damn it." He'd have a dirty shoe, no doubt ,that he'd need to clean when they got home.

"True. Just that... maybe there could be a group of powered people who studied it or something. Have our own scientists." As much as Bellerophon wanted to do so, he had a civilian life that he needed to take care of as well and well, everyone needed money so unless he got paid then studying the supernatural magic wasn't going to pay the bills. "Other people with just magic would be interesting. Though then this city might be even busier with constant threats, like some sort of superhero world or something." Yeah, that would not be fun. He nodded. "Have to find someone more willing to work with the Dark Mirror then. I keep running into Order that's willing to help, but not stay long and get to know each other." That wasn't counting all of the Order that just wanted to attack because chaos = bad. He could feel himself bristle at the image of foosteps suddenly appearing in paths. "Would make me feel like someone invisible is just going to up and attack you or something." He said, rubbing his thumb along Itokawa's hand. He felt the sudden drop that Itokawa had when he ran into some mud that was suddenly in their walking path. "You oka-" Bell couldn't finish his sentence as he saw something reach out of the puddle towards Itokawa. "Watch out!"

"That would mean we need people, senshi, knights or whatever, who are degree holding scientsists...and likely different areas of science. I'm not sure the odds are in our favor for that." Not likely, though there might be one or two, he didn't think they had enough for studies and such. Also, did they even know about each other? How many people were powered and knew about other peoples civilian lives? He had a feeling that most did not know anything beyond powered lives of others...that they didn't mix powered and civilian unless there was a reason to do so. Just friends didn't seem as likely.
"I would like to think it would be like the xmen movies if anything." Because he knew that series, the other super hero movies and comics he didn't know aside from the names of characters. It was nearly impossible to not know the names of characters, like Doctor Strange, but the stories and movies he was clueless on. "It might make things safer in the city in a way, though it would also be harder to gather energy for us..." And harder for the rest of chaos, which wasn't good. It would be a very mix bag but it did mean less hiding...right? Plus research on magic, magic that wasn't theirs.
"If we can't gather energy order wouldn't get upset with us, or the Negaverse, and maybe less fights? But our magic doesn't even follow the laws of science. We'd be seeing all new rules having to be made. I do wish we understood it better though, especially what happens in this city - aside from the magic we have." But he doubted it would happen. Even if they learned about what happened here it might not be the same as what happened elsewhere in space. It was just so vast and there was so much to know...it seemed just out of reach, beyond what they could reach as humans still mostly trapped on Earth, and it was awe inspiring in some way.
"Some order seems ok with us...I've heard things are...better, at least a little better, since tha tbig fight we missed." Because of course they'd missed it somehow. But that didn't mean word hadn't eventually trickled down to them...it had, as it always did eventually.
"I agree, that would bother me..something invisible around me would just freak me out." And as he went to inspect his shoe he was grabbed, just before he could really lift his foot up, and with a yelp he reached for Bell and grasped onto the others uniform. "The hell?!" Shouting as he tried to kick his foot free, and not fall over and take Bell with him, as the hand kept a hold off his boot.
Oh, what this must look like if someone were to see them - it would be amusing to say the least.

Bell thought that might be a good idea anyway, even if it didn't lead to any studying of the strange magic around here. They should take more advantage of the people they did have. He wasn't sure what he could contribute from his civilian life, but builders and scientists and doctors and all sorts of others would be useful within the Mirrorverse. Perhaps they could even come up with ways to help with the areas within, instead of taking so long to build, perhaps something quicker could be done. But now was not the time for that, it would have to be done later. He attempted to pull Itokawa away from the "hand" that was now grabbing him and he could tell that he wasn't having much luck. "It's not... letting go!" He said, trying to pull Itokawa but also not wanting to pull him too hard in case the hand gripped him any tighter and started to hurt him. What could Bell do? He wasn't sure if his magic would be helpful in getting rid of the hand would it just make it harden and then Itokawa would still be stuck? "Can you just let it take your boot?!"

Shaking his leg about wildly, and trying not to fall face first into the ground, he nodded quickly to his partners suggestion. "I can try!" And while doing his best to avoid the hand grasping his leg, he didn't need to to have even more hold on him, Itokawa tried to unlace his boot as quickly as he could. Once the lacings were undone and the boot loose he turned his eyes onto his partner.
"Pull now! My boot is loose. We should be able to get me away." Because he still needed help in getting himself free and out of his boot. He couldn't get his hand down too much lower, he'd risk his hand being grabbed as well. "I can't let this thing get me." And he was worried, it colored his words, as his dark eyes found his partners own equally dark eyes. "Whatever this is I don't sense it." And he was sure the other didn't either, so he didn't know what it was. It wasn't anythign powered that was for certain, and the holiday things never had a signature either. This was due to the seasons....that was the only explanation he had for it.
This time of year was really dangerous, as was being proven right now, and he wasn't sure which was worse...the seasonal magical chaos or dealing with someone on the opposite side who didn't like you and wanted a fight. Neither was great really.

"Right!" Which was followed by Bell pulling Itokawa away from the hand and his now untied boot. It seemed to have worked as he saw the other's foot slip out of the boot and while now a bare-foot, it was still better than being gripped by whatever that thing was, and he quickly hauled Itokawa up on his shoulder before running away from the puddle and only stopping when he was sure that none were in the area and they weren't in wet cement like New had told him about. He let Itokawa down from his shoulder blushing. "Sorry, didn't want to literally drag you without something covering your feet." He said taking another look to make sure that they weren't in danger of anything. That they knew of at least. "You okay? I think it's time to head home." Even if they hadn't investigated anything, discovering that random mud puddles had hands that would try to drag you down into them was not something he wanted to go back to anytime soon.

Yelping he stumbled forward, nearly falling against the other, when his foot came suddenly free of his boot. "Oh!" Surprise flashed in his dark eyes, his hands gripped the other, before he was being thrown over the others shoulder with an abruptness he was not expecting. "You don't need to carry me!" Though it seemed to not change things, his partner was still carrying him and running, and Itokawa held tight to his partner. Legs and arms wrapped about Bell as much as he could, considering the posistion he was in,
"Damn! That was scary. I didn't think I'd get my foot free from it's hold." Or his boot for that matter. He thought he was going to be stuck, and maybe even pulled into the ground somehow. The only thing worse would have been if he'd taken Bell down with him, into whatever awaited him below the mud. Set on the ground, onto his one booted foot and his one bare foot, Itokawa wrapped his arms about Bell and held tight to the other super senshi.
"It's ok, I'm just surprised you did that. I don't think you've ever picked me up and carried me." Though there was something about it which he liked, something he might mention at another time, he would figure that out later perhaps with some help.
"Yeah, I think for tonight we should go home...it might be safer that way. Shower together and bed then? We can put on a tv show..." Likely one of his favorite shows, it would be better than watching a Halloween show after he'd nearly been pulled into the mud...and to something below that.

Bell caught his breath a bit more. "Guess I've never had the chance to." He said, smirking a little. He nodded at what Itokawa had suggested until he mentioned the tv show part and couldn't help but sigh and smile a little. "Yeah yeah, we'll watch another of your shows." He said, grabbing his hand. "But let's get going before something else magical happens outside." Shower sounds nice. And bed too. He would try not to fall asleep during the show, but watching in bed always made him quite sleepy. Sleet Tempest Snape ending post from me! Thank you for the rp!
