They can trap anyone who even just brushes against them. It’s possible to be stuck in one for hours. The more you struggle, the more the threads tighten, clinging like a cocoon and it feels like being swallowed whole. If you listen carefully while caught, you might hear something moving above you. You might even feel something heavy dip onto the web next to you, chattering ominously. You never see it, but that in itself is a mercy. Something will always chase it away. Eventually, the strings will lose elasticity and you may be able to free yourself if someone isn’t able to rescue you–they just need to make sure they don’t get trapped, too. The threads can leave behind deep lines and bruises, so be happy that’s the worst you walked away with. So far, Bellerophon had run into fiery newt things that were basically traveling lava, gargoyles, and rats that decided that chewing on everything was a great idea. So his hope that all of the strange stuff was now behind him was dashed when he had decided to go out and drain energy again. No more being in the quieter parts of town, it was time to go into the livelier areas to try and drain energy from them. Or what he thought was more lively. Usually the downtown district had people out and about. But when he stepped in what he thought was a regular web, he realized why people were staying away from this area, as soon as he attempted to pull his boot up, it was like it had been stuck in concrete or sand. He could barely move it! And it seemed to get worse the more he struggled! "No why..." He muttered to himself, too annoyed to think about powering down for a moment or using his magic to get rid of the threads.

Storm had already figured out he didn't want to mess with whatever spider made those webs so he'd been avoiding the area and choosing to hang out somewhere near by that was web free.
However, that all changed when he felt an energy signature that stopped moving. The senshi of volcanic lightning paused, "Oh I hope this doesn't mean what I think it does...."
He headed off towards the area being very careful of where he walked because he did not want to be large spider food tonight. He was also fairly certain that these creatures could go back where ever they came from. He was fine with the dumb gargoyles at this point. At least they smashed at some point.
"Ohh so you did get stuck." There was a frown from the dark mirror senshi as he tried to figure out how to get the other down. It was a shame his attack didn't provide anything useful beyond the static shock and cover of the ash and smoke. He also didn't have a lighter. "Give me a minute and I'll see if I can think of something to help you down."

Bell looked down at him, trying to see if he at all recognized the Dark Mirror that was speaking to him. Nope. Didn't remember ever speaking, which made it all the more embarrassing to be in such a predicament. And he wasn't even trying to investigate all of the non-chaos non-order magical stuff that was going on tonight! "Thanks, I appreciate it." As embarrassed as he was, he wasn't going to let that get in the way of thanking the other Senshi. "Maybe there's something sharp around here? I would try with my tiara but I can't make it reach." He said, trying not to wriggle anymore lest the webbing become even tighter. LP I am so sorry I didn't see this! I apologize for taking so long!

SSBrosB It's alll good! I'm a slowpoken anyways with work and what not
The Dark mirror disappeared for a second and came back with a rather large branch it was thin but seemed strong enough as Storm tested it and gave it a quick twirl to see if it felt like it might do the job. It also also longer than Storm was tall so it should ideally do the job.
"A'ight. Lets see if this works."
He brandished the stick like he would if he was fire dancing holding onto the middle of it and keeping it parallel with his arm as he swiped it attempting to clear the spider web around his stuck comrade.

Bell was wondering how sharp a stick would be and if it could actually help him out of his predicament. Maybe it was just a very sharp stick? Like if you break it off a tree or something... Which is why he twitched a bit in surprise when it was suddenly in his face and the other Senshi wasn't near him. He felt the strings tightening a bit as he made his movement. He hoped the stick would work. "Just be careful!" He said. The stick wouldn't hurt him too much if it poked him, right? It seemed to be working a bit though as he felt some of his arm start to loosen. It appeared the trick was to go slow. "I think it's working!"

Storm nodded when the other said be careful. He was moving in as deliberate motions as he could, "If I had a match it'd probably go faster, because I'd burn the web."
There was a pause as he stopped for a second to look at the next one he wanted to knock free. Making sure there wasn't some overly large spider creeping up on them.It made him itch just thinking of large spiders.
"Looks like it, hopefully whatever owns this web doesn't come back anytime soon."
He aimed for the webs around the other's right arm after freeing some of their feet and legs, "So I'm going to try and make sure the web goes to the trees or onto it self when I tear it. I don't want it going back on you or myself."

Bell was very glad that the other did not have a match as he doubted that he would have left without being burned. He nodded at the other's hope of not meeting the creator of this web as well. He had enough of spiders. Every year there was spiders. Every. Year. Why couldn't they get something different like owls or jack o lanterns or something? Fighting a carved pumpkin on fire sounded more fun at least. "I'll make sure to move as little as possible then." He said, which was a bit hard considering he had immediately wanted to move his legs after being unable to for a bit. He attempted to hold his arm as still as possible. It felt like the rest of it was loosening a bit due to the other parts of the web having been freed, but he didn't want to make a run for it until he was sure.

Storm hummed and managed to knock enough lose, "I think you should be able to come down now, give me your hand." He was still holding the stick in case he needed it still.
"Does this seem to happen often?" He asked curiously as he waited to see if the other could down from there or if he needed to knock more of the webbing down in order for Bell to be released.

He gladly took the others hand and managed to get out of the rest of it. He moved his arms and legs a bit as he was now able to move them without worrying about them getting stuck again. "Thanks so much. I would have tried my own magic but I didn't want to risk burning myself." He moved his hands as though he was still dusting himself off, making sure there were no more invisible threads. "You mean getting stuck? No, not really. Spiders being magical around this time of year seems to be a thing though." Not something that he liked. He was okay with spiders, but the fact that it seemed that they either kept coming up with magical new ones or mutating was concerning to say the least. He held his hand out when he was done. "I'm Bellerophon, Dark Mirror of Chimera. Glad to meed another Dark Mirror Senshi."

"You're welcome, I probably wouldn't use my magic on that either." There was a chuckle from Storm as he nodded looking back towards the tattered remains of the web.
He noticed Bell trying to dust himself off. "If you don't mind I can make sure nothing's left on your back."
"Yeah I suppose getting stuck to a web, or like ... just the shenanigans that keeps showing up for what seems like holidays." He kept hearing about crazy happenings in different sorts of events.
"Storm, Dark Mirror of Volcanic Lightning!" He replied, "Pleasure to meet you as well. It's nice to run into others."

"Would you please? That would be great, thank you." Bell said as he showed the other his back, hoping that there was nothing else on him. "Yeah, seems it all comes around on certain years. I've been trying to research it myself when I can but no luck so far in figuring out where it's all coming from. I find it interesting though. When I don't get stuck at least." Unfortunately, most of the time that these strange magical events happened, they were more dangerous than wondrous. "That's an interesting power." He didn't know that volcanoes had lighting at least. "It is, I haven't been the best at keeping track of names and stuff of other Dark Mirror, but I'm hoping to change that. I should think about keeping something with me to write notes on though."

Storm nodded as he brushed off the back of Bell's fuku. "Looks like you're all good."
"Interesting I've missed a lot of them going back and forth to deal with family matters." He said with a sigh, "I know I missed the giant serpent thing. Which I guess couldn't be helped but still."
Storm grinned, "Yeah it's pretty neat considering when volcanic lightning happens it's formed basically by build up of static in the air from the ash."
There was a pause and Storm rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "Sorry I'm a bit of a weather enthusiast too."
"Yeah, maybe keeping a notebook or a call log type thing in your subspace? That way you can get contact information if someone wants to give it out maybe?" He seemed thoughtful on the best way to do such a thing.
"I think though, maybe we should get out of this area in case the owner of that web comes back and gets mad it's destroyed." Storm was looking back towards the web and could only try to picture how large the spider would have to be that made that web.

"Thanks." He was glad that he didn't have anything on his back now. Sure, everything would de-spawn and be gone when he powered back up again, but he still didn't like the feeling of having them on there. He nodded. "Yeah stuff has been... well random I would say?" He couldn't really say that they all seemed to be connected. "Family matters are important." He wanted to say family, but that would have made him a hypocrite in giving advice. So at least members dealing with family were important, whether those were good or bad. Some of them could even be legal issues, which were definitely important. He couldn't help but smile at the other. "Sounds like you go the perfect sphere then. I'm not sure how connected I am to mine, but I do like it. The notebook idea sounds good as well. Have to remember that you can keep some thing that aren't our compacts and pens in subspace." He looked back as well. "Right, let's get out of here. I've had enough with spiders for a while." He said and started to head in the direction of a mirror nearby. "At least we can get out of here quickly." LP ending post from me! thank you for the rp!

"No problem~" Storm replied in turn for having cleaned off any possible webbing left on Bell's back.
"I see, that's interesting to note. Maybe I'll see if there's any research I can get into and see if there's something l linking them." The dark mirror senshi seemed thoughtful.
There was another nod and a chuckle, "Yeah I sometimes forget too." Even though he had a note book and pen along with a book on weather in his subspace.
There was a curious look, "Oh good" He said when the other said they could get out quickly and followed along behind Bell. He'd split off later when they were safely away from this thing.
