Tempesti sensed the other senshi before she saw him, noting the bracers that marked him as a member of the Dark Mirror Court. She had no idea what purpose they actually served but their presence on the wrists of every other Dark Mirror Senshi she’d encountered thus far, it seemed unlikely that they wouldn’t carry at least
some significance. It was a relief that the newcomer didn’t display any overt hostility, and though an outwardly friendly demeanor wasn’t quite enough to get her to abandon all caution, she was in no hurry to start a fight that didn’t need to happen.
“Oh, aloha! Hello!” She’d never been to Hawaii, but she was fairly certain that her greeting was redundant.
“I was just thinking the same thing. It almost seems like a theme for this neighborhood. Though…I don’t remember seeing anything like these in the Halloween stores.” She wondered if they were handmade, they certainly seemed unique. Against her general preference for not poking at strangers’ belongings, the senshi reached out to touch one that looked like it might be
just within her reach.
A jarring, stony sound send Tempesti back a foot or two, allowing her to just barely dodge the creature as it swooped down at her.
