The trip back from mirror space to the town house was nice and easy, at least for Liam it was, the eternal was more than used to mirror walking and the odd sensation of walking through a mirror that wasn’t solid…though mirrors, and glass in general, weren’t actually solid anyway - they were in fact a liquid. Here though it actually felt liquid when you passed through it.
“I can get you something to drink if you’d like?” He offered while powering down. There was a lot to discuss, and explain, and it would all be better with drinks on the table if for no other reason than to not wind up with a dry and sore throat from all the talking which was sure to take place. He might also call for help, at some point, because he wouldn’t always be around for his second team mate. That was one thing Liam had never planned on - having a team. His spouse had a team, others had teams, but it wasn’t something he’d ever planned on or even wanted per say. It seemed however that he had a slowly forming team, only two so far, but he had a feeling he’d find it growing in time. He just hoped it would do so slowly, so he could work with them all and get them up to par before bringing someone else in, even though that had not happened with this one and Hedwig. Hedwig was still a basic and had a lot of growing to do; maturing.
Maybe with Sakura having moved out Liam could do some redecorating? Tilting his head, a bit, the blond wondered how much convincing he would need to do…not much he figured. But he could think of some ideas and maybe a decorator could be hired and take the few ideas he had and run with them? Those thoughts were, sadly, something which would need to wait for another time. Now he needed to focus on the newest dark mirror senshi.

Going through a mirror, not once but now three times, had Rafayel feeling his night’s round of drinks hitting him harder as he ended up in yet another wildly foreign place with these two strangers. At least he knew some of what was going on, and at the notion of returning to normal, he listened to the cat-like woman and followed her instructions as she handed him this odd-looking pen that matched the outfit he’d come out of the golden mirror wearing.
At first, he hadn’t heard what they’d said, his focus still on that odd itching feeling he’d felt under his skin, but then his attention snapped up at the blonde. “Oh… uh… Water, thanks.” No more liquor tonight, especially if this was all because he’d had one too many.
Looking around at all the shelves of what looked like binders, and then the piano, he felt like this was the home of someone in the music industry, or at least someone who had a hobby for things like that. It left him wondering for a moment before he remembered that other name they’d said, Aloysius, and things started to slide into place. “Oh s**t.” Pulling a hand up to smooth his hair back out of his face a bit, he paced as he chewed on his lip.
“The Sharps, that’s who, right?” Even if he wasn’t into the thick of things like the rest of the Onox family was, he did know names, and the Sharps were up there, even if not as high up as his family.

Desiree followed behind, stepping out of the mirror, and instead of turning back into a cat, she clicked on her keychain and took on her civilian glamor before giving Leitner his pen and taking her seat on the couch. “I’ll have some tea, please, Liam.”
Once the newest addition to the team was back in their civilian clothes, she watched them intently as they paced and seemed to be on edge. Part of her had wondered if there was more wrong with this one than Blaise, but then the question came, and she laughed lightly.
“Yes, the Sharps, though unlike the Onox family, we don’t have dirty laundry.” At least not that could be proved, thanks to both time and the careful work of Melody and Aloysius. Though even before them, apparently, the only bad apple was Victor.

Already making his way to the kitchen Liam turned to glance over his shoulder. “Yes, the Sharps.” The same family where the only single female was engaged to a member of the Evans family, one of the most well off and shadow families in the city, but he didn’t mention that connection. If the other didn’t know it…well then they’d been living under a rock. Everyone in high society knew about the engagement, and Liam knew that first hand, Melody had made sure it was well known to who she was engaged and the family she was joining into.
“My spouse owns this property, it’s one he uses for classes but also we handle other business like this here.” He motioned while opening the fridge, ducking down to grab a bottle of juice for himself and a bottle of water for the other. Glasses were grabbed next, along side a tea kettle, he set about boiling water and getting a tea pot and cup ready for Dessire.
“Now for a bit of a story. I can’t say I know the whole thing, where this all started, as I don’t and our faction isn’t so involved in things. It is, if you can have a safe side in a war, the safest side to be on. While the white moon, senshi and knights, fight with the Negaverse the dark mirror tends to keep to the sidelines. We’re smaller in number, perhaps closer knit in some ways due to that, but it makes us vulnerable as well. We make friends where we can, on both sides, and we keep our heads down when we are gathering energy. We don’t want to upset order, though it is at times unavoidable, and the Negaverse doesn’t typically care what we do so long as it doesn’t involve them or step on their toes. We’re chaos in signature, as I’m sure you felt, but the Negaversee feels darker and order feels…wrong.” Because the dark mirror court was not neutral, he knew that and would never deny it, he was fine with being darker in aura and chaos. He didn’t want white wings and to be ‘good’. He was a good person and he knew that…his aura and uniform dictated nothing.
“Senshi are each tied to a planet, asteroid, comet, or something else in space. Each one of us takes our name from that which we are tied to.” Pouring hot water into the tea pot filled with a special little teabag, Liam took his time prepping things.
“Knights have wonders on certain planets. WWhile there is a Sailor Ida…it also has its own knights who have wonders on that planet. The same can be said for the planets in this solar system, though where their senshi’s are…is unknown. Negaverse agents are corrupted knights who have no ties to space. There are corrupted senshi as well but they are another matter really.” He was certain the other would meet at least one eventually, it was inevitable really.
“For us, the dark mirror, we are senshi with a coating over our starseed which has…not corrupted us per say but it has made us chaos. Purification for us is different from corrupt senshi or knights…because us being corrupt is different. Our starseed isn’t corrupted, unlike theirs, but it is covered in a chaos coating. It’s why we are not the same. But we have a tie into space…the same as corrupt senshi I suppose.”

It was a lot of information, and most of it felt like the ravings of a madman as he watched them make tea and talk about it like it was a lecture at DCU. But the main thing that stuck was the first thing they had said, that the owner of this home was a Sharp, and the blonde whom he had been trying to hit on was married to said Sharp. It made the blood run cold in his veins, and he reached for the arm of the couch and sat down.
Everything sounded so complicated, and really, it blew over his head as he sat there listening to them go on about feelings and starseeds and all sorts of things he had no clue about. When he started to feel dizzy from it all, he pressed a palm to his forehead and closed his eyes, trying to sort out things as he heard the woman chuckle again, like this was just so funny to her.
“So what am I supposed to do? Like, why me?” Because he didn’t really get any of this, considering how the night had started.

Listening to Liam explain things, she nodded along and let him do his thing as she watched the obviously confused young man slip further into confusion. After a while, she did chuckle and adjust her position on the couch to be more comfortable.
“You gather energy for the mirror and avoid trouble. And as for the why, you, because the power was already there, and I’d prefer it on the right side of things so Aloysius and Liam don’t have to deal with something so troublesome coming from an enemy.”
It was just a chance, really, and like Aloysius, it seemed like Liam was wisening up on the art of backing people into corners and quick decisions.

“As Dessire said - the power was there. Senshi, knights, Negaverse agents, corrupt sense and dark mirror senshi all have one thing in common. Either we descend from a senshi or a knight who lived in space…or our soul - our starseed has been reborn here on Earth and is inside of us now. Either way the power is there from birth…someone just needs to awaken it. Rather than let you fall to order, and become another enemy, we just made you one of us. You aren’t a corrupt senshi, which my spouse could have handled, since I was already on scene. It’s the least painful of the two options so you are lucky. Ask a Negaverse agent, or a corrupt senshi, to grab your starseed and you’ll get an idea for what they feel when awakened.” It was not pleasant from what he knew, though he’d never personally suffered that kinda pain.
“What you're going to do now is gather energy, as Dessire said, and you will use a wraith to do it. So you won’t be doing it personally, which makes it easier; you can keep some distance between yourself and the victims. But you still need to watch yourself. I think….since I’m not always around.” Stepping into the living room, setting a tray down with glasses, a cup, and a teapot, Liam continued as he finally sat himself down.
“That I should set you up with someone else in the court - to keep you safe and to help you.” There were options, plenty of them really, but he wasn’t sure. Reaching for his own drink, he took a slow sip of chilled juice.

The talk of souls and enemies didn’t really sit well with him, but now that it sounded like this was another job to handle on top of his already busy work and classes, he rubbed at his face and groaned.
“So you’ve got some sort of team and they’re going to babysit me? You do know I’m an Onox, right? Rafayel, the middle child, but still an Onox.” Carefully avoiding anything else, he looked back between the two before grabbing the offered water and drinking some. It was cold and crisp, something that really hit him and made him realize that this was unfortunately not a dream. Just in case, he pulled the tin from his back pocket and popped it open, taking a quick inventory and confirming none of the pills or powder tubes were missing.
With another groan, especially now that the woman was sipping her tea and getting cozy while letting the other talk, he let himself lean back into the couch and sink into it more, partially hoping it would eat him whole.
“So is this a speed run? Are they going to just show up here now?”
