Gemstone: Ruby
Blood Type: AB+

Occupation: Stablehand at his godmother's ranch & rescue while working on his veterinary degree
Hobbies:
- Riding
- Jess has been riding horses since he was old enough to sit in front of one of his parents on a saddle. It's one of his favorite things in the world to do, and helps him calm down if he's upset or think when he needs to figure something out. At his godmother's stable, he owns a horse named Thorn and Jess takes him out for a ride at least once a day.
Hunting/Camping
- This cowboy has always been the stereotypical southern man. He loves being outdoors and goes camping at least once a month. He used to go hunting every summer with his dad, but he hasn't gone hunting since his parents died. Most of the time he'd rather be outside than inside and can often be found in the stables.
Virtues:
- Charming
- Jess is a huge flirt, and knows that he's handsome. (Yes, this does make him a little vain but his godmother makes sure to take him down a peg or two every so often.) He was blessed with what folks like to call Southern Charm and will use it to his advantage. He also doesn't mind using it for someone else's advantage if he sees someone being bullied or refused for what he would deem a stupid reason. His charm also makes him a favorite with kids, older folks, and most women, especially when his godmother has open events at the ranch.
Respectful
- His parents had always taught him to be respectful, to everyone regardless of their status or age. This has stuck with him for his entire life. Women will always be ma'am, men will always be sir. Or, that had always been the case. More recently he has taken to calling people his own age and younger just "friend." Older folks will still probably get sir or ma'am, but he doesn't want to disrespect anyone by assuming their gender.
Flaws:
- Arrogant
- Remember how he knows he's handsome and charming? Yeah. It makes him arrogant. Jess calls it confidence, but he can also be a jerk when he's trying to prove something. Most of the time, he thinks his ideas are the correct ones and it's unlikely that he'll seek a second opinion before going off and doing his own thing.
Stubborn
- Again, when he's right he knows he's right. There isn't much that will stop him from proving himself to be the correct one. If someone tries to tell him he's wrong, he'll just double down and keep going. The same applies to other things he's determined to obtain. Veterinary degree so he can care for the horses of the ranch and rescue? Working on it. Pursuing a pretty girl to date (or maybe just have some fun with)? Bet. He's relentless. (He will, however, take no for an answer. He's not that kinda guy at least.)
