Persephone didn't have the desire to load up on a bunch of classes the way some other students did. She stuck to the few things she was really interested in and subjects she was confident she would do well in. Herbology and potions were the most difficult classes for her. She remembered the knowledge itself well enough, but when it came to actually taking care of the plants or mixing those potions together, things never seemed to go quite the way she planned. She had to work very hard to even get the grades she did for them. Classes that were more geared toward book learning and memorization came much easier. She also had a strange knack for Wandless Magic, so that helped her grades overall.
