it's about a washed up joan rivers-esque stand-up who's hungry for success and her agent pairs her with a millennial writer.
it's admittedly a premise i would have scoffed at but it's SO GODDAMNED GOOD.
i just finished the 4th season with my partner, and it's so well written that the writing of the jokes they do in the show are ALSO WELL WRITTEN. i can't explain it very well but has anyone seen it?
