Getting used to an entirely new neighborhood was taking some time for Halia, it seemed. In the first week of moving, she still felt herself gravitating towards her old routes when she went out, and it had been frustrating for her body to more or less go on auto pilot, even when she wasn't powered up. Unfamiliar paths and streets left little pangs of anxiety in her for a while, so she had decided to put off officially going on patrol for a while, at least alone, until she was more familiar with the area. So for now, she had taken to exploring the area as a civilian.

On her way home from work at the Bookstore the other day, she had noticed a park nearby. It was a bit overgrown and seemed that not many people went there anymore, but that made it all the more interesting to Halia. Deciding to give it a proper look, she made her way out of the apartment for the day and headed towards it. With any luck, it could potentially turn out to be a good place for powering up for her.

Nearing the park, a familiar sight of blue and yellow caught her eye and made her pause. Crouched over the carcass of a dead pigeon like a feral gremlin was a familiar alien woman that made her stomach drop just a little. While she was no longer outright scared of Grieve, that did not mean she relished stumbling upon her by accident once again. Still, with her luck Grieve probably already knew she was there, and she really didn't want a repeat of last time. So rather than trying to run away or slink off before she was called out, Halia outright approached her, watching her jab at the carcass. "Hello Grieve. Scavenging?"

Watching Grieve inspect the bird, Halia crouched near her to look at it curiously. "Etsy shop? I dont think I never knew that. What do you make?" For a brief moment, she thought of Eion. She knew he would scavenge for parts here and there as well, and for a brief second, she missed him. "If you can use them at all, I think I still have some of the scales I scooped up from the battle with the Hollow."

When Grieve stood, so did Halia, looking up at her with a small smile. Had the woman always been so imposingly tall? So much taller than herself? Ah. Right. It clicked in her head that she was not, in fact, powered up. And without the extra bit of height from her heels, she felt even smaller. Giving the woman a sheepish smile, she gestured at herself. "I....just realized we've never met like this. I'm Aruna. Well. Halia, like this."

Halia nodded as she listened. "I haven't used bones, but a friend of mine did. Whatever he could find here and there. I mostly go for beads and crystals to make trinkets with." It was odd, somehow, that she had a similar hobby in common with Grieve, who was in all aspects very opposite of herself. But it also made her just a little bit happy to have something in common as well.

Laughing softly, Halia nodded. "I'm an Eternal senshi now. And...there are people I want to protect more than anything, so I have to be strong, right? Or at least not as pathetic." A thought occurred to her then, and she looked up at the taller woman. "Would you be able to teach me how to fight? Like you I mean? I know basic self defense, but that won't help worth crap in a real fight with someone trying to kill you, or kill someone you love. I wanna know how to actually do some damage." Sure, she had her magic, but what if she was out of attacks? Or what if it would hurt someone unintended? She needed to learn to use her body, to attack physically as well as magically.

"I want to learn anything and everything I can. So anything you would be willing to teach me, I want to learn." There was hard determination in her eyes as she looked up at Grieve. "Failing in a fight....the price is too high to risk it. Especially when there are people that I care about that don't have the experience behind them." Did her thoughts go to a sweet, naive Earth Page as she said this? Perhaps. But she wouldn't admit it. At least not out loud. "If you're able to make time though, I would appreciate it. Greatly. And I would owe you, too "
