Hello, everyone. In this Filler, I plan to give the 9 Super Solvers & Seekers Series from 1989 to 1997 as the Scoring System differs from Game to Game such as Treasures & Puzzles Solved.

Then combine all of them for a real result

This way, you can understand what the optimization scores mean for the actual games when you play them and how you can set the levels.
For the scoring, I'll either mention the Maximum/Minimum Treasures, Puzzles Solved, etc, as I have to play each of the 9 games to find out.

One thing to keep in mind is that using an early Virtual Machine build that can run Windows NT Operating Systems such 2000 or XP to ME (XPtoME 2nd Edition) as we'll be examining the Windows/Macintosh Ports.

Its worth Noting that Operation Neptune, Ancient Empires & Time Riders in American History may have confuse those games as part of the Super Solvers & Super Seekers Series of Games but has no relation whatsoever since those 3 games are aimed at Late Childhood to Early Teens & Adulthood.

Treasure Mountain (Versions 1.1 Deluxe & 2.0 Updated)
User Image

Starting with Treasure Mountain being the First of the Super Seekers Games Series. As its story is simple, the Master of Mischief has traveled to a place called Treasure Mountain, stolen the crown and its Treasures then scattered them across the mountain. The goal is to drive away the Master of Mischief out of Treasure Mountain by reclaiming the Treasures & winning back the crown.

This is one of 3 Games I used to play in my school days when I was younger which is why I remember it well.

The Scoring Factor for this Game is the Total of Treasures in the Game and how many Trips you need to take to get all of the Treasures as 35 Trips is the set minimum and 300 Treasures is the goal for both versions making a grand total of 600 Treasures & 70 Trips total Minimum as players who can't find the Treasures in one Trip will have to take additional Trips with each set amount of Treasures to find increasing from 2 to 5 as the player's Skill Level Rises.

Treasure MathStorm (Versions 1.1 Deluxe & 2.0 Updated)

User Image

Next is Treasure MathStorm being the Second of the Super Seekers Games Series. Following the Events of Treasure Mountain, the Master of Mischief returns with a Weather Machine which creates a Winter Storm which cause a multitude of problems as all the Clocks are Frozen over, the Golden Scales tipped over and the Crystal Caves have crumbled apart. Your task as the Super Seeker is to find the Treasures that are snowbound & return them to the Mountain Castle so you can thaw out Treasure Mountain so as to set things right!
(NOTE: The Story mentioned is from the Updated CD-ROM Version)

This is the second of 3 Games I used to play in my school days when I was younger which is why I remember it well. Like Treasure Mountain, this also had an Updated Version 2.0

The Scoring Factor for this Game is the Total of Treasures in the Game and how many Trips you need to take to get all of the Treasures as 35 Trips is the set minimum and 450 Treasures is the goal for both versions making a grand total of 900 Treasures & 70 Trips total Minimum as players who can't find the Treasures in one Trip will have to take additional Trips with each set amount of Treasures to find increasing from 2 to 5 as the player's Skill Level Rises.

Treasure Cove (Versions 1.1 Deluxe & 2.0 Updated)
User Image

Next is Treasure Cove being the Third of the Super Seekers Games Series. Following the Events of Treasure Mountain & MathStorm, the Master of Mischief, having being driven out of Treasure Mountain, escaped to his magic workshop and shattered the Rainbow Bridge, scaring all of the Pufferfish away after the bridge was broken down into Gemstones that fell into the ocean floor. As the Seastars saw the gemstones fall, the Master of Mischief bewitched the Seastars with magic riddles so as make sure the Gems & Pufferfish remain lost. Worst Still, using his dark magic, he opens up goobie holes in the ocean floor releasing the goobies being slime creatures which pollute the ocean floor. To make matters worse, the Master of Mischief also releases sharks so they would attack divers who were lucky enough to get their hands on the Gems. Your task as the Super Seeker is to don a wetsuit with diving gear so as to dive into Treasure Cove, find the gems, rebuild the Rainbow Bridge and put an end to the Master of Mischief's Pollution!

Treasure Galaxy (Versions 1.1 Deluxe)
User Image

To Wrap up the Super Seekers Saga is Treasure Galaxy being the Last of the Super Seekers Games Series. Following the Events of Treasure Mountain, MathStorm & Cove, the Master of Mischief, was chased into deep space where turns an asteroid belt into an army of Disasteroid Monsters whom attacks the Crystal City, boken open Princess Astral's Crystal Chest and the Crystals were hidden all over the galaxy. The Super Seeker's task is to help Princess Astral recover the lost Crystals and turn the Disasteroids into Asteroids so as to drive out the Master of Mischief once more.

Since I only played this game once or twice during a visit since childhood, I don't recall seeing it in school as I should also note that while there is a Rumored Updated 2.0 Version, I don't think I've seen it nor can I find it.

Its worth noting that this game and Treasure Cove have one fatal physics bottleneck is that while the SCUBA Diving Gear's Oxygen Tank and the Bubble Pump are not releated in Treasure Cove, the Sunbeam Gun on the Space Cycle isn't related to the Hovercycle's Fuel Supply either.

The Scoring Factor for this Game is the Total of Crystals in the Game and how many Trips you need to take to get all of the Crystals

Intermission 1

Before I continue to the Super Solvers Series of its scoring tables. You're may all be wondering:
"How is the Player able to use a Bubble Pump in Treasure Cove without running out of Oxygen in a Diving Gear's Air Tank..."

A Good Question... So I think its time.... Hang On...

*2 Laundry Chutes Later...*

As I was saying before...
...A Good Question... So I think its time to answer this question in the best way I can in terms of Air Composition, Pressure and Consumption, Ascent, Nitrogen Absorption and Decompression Sickness, Refilling Tanks

Scuba tanks typically hold compressed air, not pure oxygen. Air is composed of about 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen, with a small percentage of other gasses.

The air in a scuba tank is under high pressure (often around 3,000 pounds per square inch, psi). As a diver descends, the ambient pressure increases (1 atmosphere atm for every 33 feet/10m of depth). This increased pressure causes the air a diver breathes to become denser. Consequently, a diver consumes more air (measured in standard cubic feet or liters) at greater depths than at shallower depths for the same amount of time underwater. This means a tank of air lasts much less time at depth than at the surface.

When a diver ascends, the pressure decreases, causing the air in their lungs and body to expand. Divers must continuously exhale during ascent to prevent lung overexpansion injury.

Deeper dives and longer bottom times lead to greater absorption of nitrogen into the body's tissues. If a diver ascends too quickly or stays at depth for too long without controlled decompression, this absorbed nitrogen can come out of solution too quickly, forming bubbles that can cause decompression sickness ["the bends"]

Scuba tanks are refilled using air compressors that pump compressed air into the tank. Fill stations often cool the tank during the process to maximize the amount of air that can be safely added. According to Adreno - Ocean Outfitters, Tanks also require annual hydrostatic testing to ensure their safety.

============
Treasure Cove, on the other hand, uses air refuel tanks for the Bubble Pump's Air Tank as the Player has an infinite Supply of Oxygen in their Diving Gear's Air Tank. Meaning, the Diving Gear's Oxygen Tank is Separate from the Bubble Pump. As the game doesn't simulate real-world pressure effects, nitrogen absorption, or the complexities of tank refills and maintenance due to its fictional setting to defy the Laws of Physics and Gravity.

Intermission 2

Next I'll answer the question on this:
"How is the Player able to use a Sunbeam Weapon in Treasure Galaxy without running out of Sunbeam Fuel Energy in a Hoverbike..."

User Image
Good Question... Regarding Propulsion, Energy, Flight Duration & Range, and Stability.

Real or conceptual hoverbikes rely on various propulsion systems, including electric motors powering rotors or even jet engines.

Hoverbikes use either batteries (typically lithium-based like LiPo) for electric systems or fossil fuels for internal combustion engines or jet propulsion.

Maintaining a hover requires continuous energy expenditure to counteract gravity.

Flight time and range are limited by battery capacity, fuel tank size, energy efficiency, and the weight of the vehicle and its payload. Some prototypes have very limited flight times.

Maintaining stability during flight requires sophisticated flight control systems that integrate sensors like accelerometers and gyroscopes.

===============
In Treasure Galaxy's case, the Space Bike's infinite gasoline & fuel tank supply is likely to represent its movement capacity. Since it doesn't simulate The Laws of Real World Physics and Gravity. Meaning, that the Sunbeam Energy & the Space Bike's Gasoline Fuel are separate ad both power sources in Treasure Cove & Treasure Galaxy being separate from Real World Physics are designed to support the gameplay and educational goals without overwhelming the player in a Fictional Setting.

Midnight Rescue
User Image

Moving onto the Super Solvers Series of Games, I should note that I have encountered these games once or twice during my School Days.
The First being Midnight Rescue which is the one I had the most trouble as a kid due to its detective logic gameplay as there's a story behind that game.

The Master of Mischief, who is known as Morty Maxwell in the Super Solver Games, has taken over a schoolhouse with his paintbrush Robots as they plan to make the school vanish using Disappearing Paint (a play on ACME's Disappearing Ink from Roger Rabbit) at Midnight. The Super Solver's task is to take photos of the robots and compare them to Reading Note Passages as the Player has from 9PM to Midnight to save the School. If the Player is wrong with their detective work, then the school vanishes, but if the player's detective work is accurate, Morty Maxwell is captured, the School is saved and the player gets a Camera Film Bonus, Time Bonus and Victory Bonus for beating the game. The Player has to obtain a Score of 500,000 Points or Greater to win the game.

Unlike the Super Seekers of Games, Midnight Rescue uses a Ranking System as there's 8 Ranks in total.

OutNumbered
User Image

The next Super Solver Game is OutNumbered which is another game that I had the most trouble as a kid due to its math encryption gameplay as there's a story behind that game.

The Master of Mischief, who is known as Morty Maxwell in the Super Solver Games, has taken over a Television Station and plans to gain complete control of it by Midnight! The Super Solver's Task is to collect picture clue combinations by solving Math Challenges which will also charge the Energy Dispenser for the Zapper which you need to shoot Telly the Robot and when you do, you'll need to answer Telly's Math Drill Questions to get the Picture Clues and use the electronic decoder to determine which room Morty is hiding out.

However, Telly the Robot is not the only problem as there's also LiveWires you need to watch out for as both will cost the player Zapper Energy & Game Time as like Midnight Rescue before, the Player has from 9PM to Midnight to save the TV Station Building.

If the Player is wrong with their Code Decryption, then the TV Station falls under Morty's complete control, but if the player's code decryption is accurate, Morty Maxwell is captured, the TV Station is saved and the player gets a Zapper Energy Bonus, Time Bonus and Victory Bonus for beating the game. The Player has to obtain a Score of 500,000 Points or Greater to win the game.

OutNumbered uses a Ranking System as there's 8 Ranks in total.

Spellbound
User Image

The next Super Solver Game is SpellBound which unlike Midnight Rescue & OutNumbered, is the one Game I had growing up at home during my School Days

The Story for Spellbound is simple, as the Super Solver is taking a stroll in the park but sees a flyer about the Spelling Bee which the Master of Mischief, Morty Maxwell has challenged the player to from Classroom, Schoolwide, Citywide, Statewide and National Leagues being the Spellbound Tournament.

To win this Tournament, the player will need to select a Topic and Word List to be used for that Player Profile or you can make your own Topic and Word List for the Tournament before starting along with a Skill Level which determines how many points you need to quality for the Spelling Bee League as the Points Required are marked in Green and to Earn Points, you'll need to play Word Puzzles on the Spellbinder being Flash Cards, Crossword Puzzles and Word Searches.

However, the Tournament is where it comes together or falls apart should you reach the Target Score. As they play like the Flash Card activity but with one minor change as you need to be the last person standing in the Tournament as its a Survival Challenge as one wrong answer means that player is out of the competition league. Complete all 5 Leagues to win the Game.

Gizmos & Gadgets
User Image

The next Super Solver Game is Gizmos & Gadgets, another game I encountered during my School Days where as a kid, I had difficulties with that game where as an adult, it wasn't that hard to figure out the fastest vehicles layout even though this game is considered a favorite among kids, adults, homes and schools back in the day.

The Story for Gizmos & Gadgets is what's expected for a Science Themed Game. Morty Maxwell, the Master of Mischief has hijacked a Technology Center Building & has taken over as Head Scientist. The Super Solver's Task is to face him off in 15 Races by collecting the right set of vehicle parts where some are out in the open in the warehouse or factory floors while others are behind locked doors where you have to solve a science puzzle to open them.

Each of the 5 Races fall under 3 Sections of the Technology Center campus, Aircraft, Alternate Energy and Automobile. However, like Spellbound before, it has a Skill Level setting as all it does is determines if you want or don't want Cyber Chimps in the Warehouse. Playing with the Cyber Chimps, which are Morty's Robotic Monkeys, will attempt to steal the best parts for your vehicle.

It's worth noting that before each warehouse trip, you need to read the vehicle blueprint to see what you need as each design becomes more harder as you progress such as Tire Sizes, Wheel Types, Car Batteries, Differential Gear Transmissions, Vechicle Body Frames, Electric Motors, Fuel Tanks, Windshields, etc

Gizmos & Gadgets is one of two Super Solvers where its key Scoring Factor is the amount of Puzzles Solved in the Game as Mission T.H.I.N.K. is the second game to do so which I will be talking about in a little while as its the Last Game in the Solvers & Seekers Game Series before The ClueFinders Series in 1998.

Mission T.H.I.N.K.
User Image

The Final Super Solvers Games and the last game to conclude the Solvers and Seekers Game Series is Mission T.H.I.N.K. which stands for Thinking Hard Inspires New Knowledge.

The Story for Mission T.H.I.N.K is sort of Morty Maxwell's last stand in a way. This time, he takes over a Toys & Games Factory for no apparent reason using an army of Metal Minons which appear to be Robotic Cats. The Super Solver's Final Task is to beat Morty at his Stratagy Game being a Tabletop Version of Capture the Flag at all 5 Levels to take back the Toys & Game Factory, so as to bring down the Master of Mischief for good. But before the player can play that CTF Tabletop game, the player will need to track down game pieces in the factory floors by solving Logic Puzzles behind locked doors such as path tracing, sorting, 3D Block Building, etc

Like Gizmos & Gadgets, its mostly the same but its Skill Level setting as all it does is determines if you want or don't want Metal Minon Cats in the Warehouse. Playing with the Metal Minon Cats, will attempt to steal the best game pieces. Another point worth mentioning is that a Super Seeker Guide returns one more time in the form of a Robotic Dog named Rusty, who doesn't like what Morty Maxwell has done over the years and decides to help the player so to bring down Morty Maxwell for good.

After getting enough game pieces, it all comes down to calculating and cunning to divise a plan to capture the other player's flag as its Practice Mode can be played with another person since its a 2-Player CTF Tabletop game as the goal is to move your blue game token from the Blue Base to the Red Player Token's Base which will capture the other player's flag. Its worth noting that after beating Morty Maxwell at all 5 Tabletop Levels, you'll have a Jigsaw Puzzle to work on the Billboard to complete and when you do, well... you'll just have to see for yourself.
