what hobbies have you picked up?
i love hearing about people's hobbies and how you got into them.
one of my big hobbies is archiving. Specifically, media.
iconic tiktoks, lost/removed TV episodes, music, anything.
i'm working on three points of storage right now, maybe something air-gapped (never been online) as well!
i guess i started seeing stuff randomly disappear, which i knew would happen. but with this political climate of "******** it" i thought to start backing all sorts of stuff before i have to look for it.

that's such a cool hobby! I wouldn't have the patience to go that far, but I do havea project (that's been on hiatus) of culling and sorting my photos so I can properly store them and have my favorites printed.
I used to draw a LOT, like that was my identity. but lately I'm super into crochet! I'm slow at it, but really dedicating my free time to it lately. I'm working on this kind of muted rainbow sweater right now.

sleepytimesteph that's such a cool hobby! I wouldn't have the patience to go that far, but I do havea project (that's been on hiatus) of culling and sorting my photos so I can properly store them and have my favorites printed. i'm neurodivergent so i rarely have the patience for it myself but the very rote nature of it is fun
i want to get into sewing/crochet and my partner is good at it. that might be next!

I'm a bit of a movie buff. I like shopping for household and yard decor, my house changes with seasons, I have a wooden long bowl as a table centerpiece. I fill it with orb things, or tiny pumpkins, etc. I have a flower garden going in the back yard right now, looks great so far. I like video games, especially if it involved dinosaurs.

I love D&D and I like to make maps when I DM for my friends. I'm huge gamer nerd and I love anime. I play Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals alot so give me holla if you want to play.

Sailing, hiking, gaming, snowboarding, skiing, backpacking, camping, i generally like being outside and away from the noise. But I also LOVE living in a city now xD

SkyPwny I am just now trying to get back into having hobbies, I like to draw and write and also go for walks with my dog, I am getting back into baking and i am kind of looking around for a new hobby entirely. I am trying to quit vaping and i need something for my hands to do <3 first off, frasier - despite kelsey grammer being a colossal piece of s**t - is one of my favorite shows of all time. i see that sig, love it.
vaping- I smoked cigarettes for almost a decade. Last year january, i decided to quit. been mostly clean outside of parties or the errant dart here or there, but there's been a massive weight off of me.
i realize you may be talking about nicotine, but if you are, it suuuuuuuuuuuucked complete a** but i came out the other side feeling free.
OTHER substance-wise? i know that's not just a different ballgame but a different sport. but if that's the case - i believe in you!

Oh lord, I have a lot of hobbies but also my twin six year olds do not leave me as much time for them as I would like. xd
My hobbies include:
- Reading (though I don't do it as much as I should, these days)
- Writing
- RPing
- Playing TTRPGs (preferred systems include Chronicles of Darkness, Bluebeard's Bride and a variety of other Powered By the Apocalypse games, L5R 3/3.5/4e, DnD 5E, and Daggerheart, along with a variety of others)
- Drawing
- Painting (on paper, on wood, on miniature TTRPG figures)

I have quite a few hobbies. I do have a wife and 2 kids however so, I've been doing all these things with my small amount of free time. • Gaming(mostly on PC) I like to play dark fantasy, rpgs, and rogue lites but, I'll try most anything if I have cool people to play with.
• Art: I do pixel art and digital art but, not as much traditional as I used to.
• Magic:The Gathering(I play pretty regularly. I even play competitively on occasion. Honestly just Table Top gaming in general.It's tough to play D&D like I used to but, still enjoy the game .

I love drawing and making comics, when I have the energy for it. I've been drawing since I was in middle school and made it my job for a while, but took a break from it after my career burned me out. Since being unemployed, I've jumped back into art and fell in love with it all over again.
Gaming is forever though. I'm currently replaying Pokemon Legends: Arceus and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, as well as Diablo III and Darkest Dungeon on PC. I'm a huge fan of RPGs and strategy games, but I like cozy games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley as well.

My main hobby right now is aerial hoop (known as lyra in the circus arts community), and I guess building big builds in a minecraft knock-off called bloxd.io. I really enjoy the creativity in both.
I'm excitedly awaiting a beginner's embroidery kit though, as I'm hoping to move away from digital creation and start actually physically making stuff. I want to have a hobby that produces something IRL, so I'm hoping I git gud and can make cute little "calling card" embroidery designs on the cuffs of all my clothes. :3
