The Fairies (8 ) : The City has been lit up for the Star Festival with banners and twinkling decorations strewn off the windowsills of shop fronts and windows. The gardeners at one particular park have put their heart and soul into creating a fairy's paradise: Fairy lights have been carefully dangled from trees to make strings of stars, little beaded jewels have been hidden among the hedges, and even the old cobwebs have been sprayed with just a touch of glitter. The park is open to everyone and the citizens of Destiny City have been invited to respectfully explore the hidden wonders that have been placed throughout. The park is magical enough on its own but there have also been reports of a strange, ethereal and shimmering stranger in the park. The glimmer of a beautiful costumed figure fluttering through the park has been passed around as rumor, and no matter what anyone claims to see, no one can take a picture of it. As if simply seeing some magical figure isn't mysterious enough, there are also reports of mischief and small pranks being played at the same time this figure seems to appear.
Since she was out on errands, Noa decided to stop by DC park to see if there was anything magical going on like the rumors have been stating. Its not that she doesn't believe that anything magical is going on [she's apart of the negaverse, where youma exist along with magical weapons], its just that she wants to actually see it for once. Which is why she decided to waddle herself to the park [after driving of course, Idri lives pretty far from the city], just to see if she could catch a fairy in action. Maybe she would be able to capture one and name it Tinkerbell? Sure she was too old to be Peter Pan but she always thought Tinkerbell deserved better. Pan was selfish, childish and just...An actual serial killer if you ask her. Disney just MADE him seem all whimsical and s**t but what's so whimsical about a kid never wanting to grow up leading other peoples kids to their deaths?
Nothing, that's what.
So with her mind made up about a fictional character, Noa walked around the park with wonder, rubbing her stomach as she went. "Look Haji...All the pretty lights? Next year Ill take you to see the fairies too." And maybe she would take Idri with her since she was sure he wouldn't be comfortable letting her go alone. Hell, he was barely comfortable letting her go alone this time but she managed to convince him that she would be home after dark since she couldn't power up and youma cant tell the difference between who's on what side, which was a very valid concern to have. There was a weird flicker of light that appeared in front of her but disappeared as soon as she reached for it, causing her to frown.
Weird, but okay.
She continued to walk around, touching the lights and plant life, taking pictures to show Idri and Ains when she got home. There were a couple of selfies in there as well that she was going to post to her private Instagram. In one picture, she saw a glimmer of what could only be an extremely beautiful person in a costume. They looked off, but when Noa went to go look for the figure she couldn't find anything. She did jump when it felt like something lifted her hair and blew on her neck, turning back and finding nothing once again. This was starting to freak her out a bit, with the last straw being her dress flipping up as if there were a breeze. There was no one around, but she did squeak, trying to push the clothing down.
"Hahahahaha! Very ******** funny!"
That was it...She was going to go home and pretend that she didn't just give some sort of ethereal being a shot of her undies. Its not like she didn't finish her errands anyway, and she didn't want to find out what would be the next thing exposed on her person, that kind of stuff was reserved for her job and nothing else thank you. It didn't take her long to get to her car, surprised that she could even walk so fast with the amount of weight she was carrying.
