Gosh she was really working overtime wasn't she?

Saleeite decided to stick to the rooftops for her nightly patrol, leaping from building to building while trying to avoid trouble. She just wanted to make her quota and go back to her apartment. So when she felt an order signature behind her, she sped up, trying to lose them. Polar was at home tending to his sick sister so she was on her own. As much as she knew she could handle herself, she would really like to have an easy evening for once.

Sarin had sensed a chaos signature up ahead and put on a burst of speed to catch up with them. Hopefully he could catch them before they drained too many people or worse, took a starseed. Except it seemed they were in a hurry to get away from him. His long legs ate up the distance between them and he finally got a good look at who he was chasing.

Saleeite. He almost quit chasing her after what happened last time, but he kept going. Maybe this time would be different. He gave a low whistle, aiming his panic at her once he got close enough.

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Panic Button
Sarin whistles and it causes the intended target to feel a rush of panic: heart rate speeds up, breathing gets a little harder, etc. This lasts for about 30 seconds. He can use this up to three times in a battle.

That low whistle sounded familiar…

As soon as she felt her heart rate speeding up, Saleeite stumbled and tripped, landing on her hands and knees while reaching one hand up to grab at her chest. This wasn't good, Polar wasn't around to scare the senshi off so she would be on her own for this one. The small officer whimpered and panted while hunched over, trying to see if she could wait out the panic. Once this was over she was going to jab her kunai right in that ******** thigh. It was a good thing that he’s only seen her when she had her rope, this meant that he would just be assuming she still had it.

That’s when she was going to stab him anywhere she could.

Sarin grinned when his attack landed and she tripped. He wasn’t surprised with stompy boots like the ones she wore. He slowed down as he approached her, wary of crazy Chaos people, especially this one. She’d tried to choke him last time with that rope of hers, so he was trying to avoid that at all costs.

“No wonder you tripped, boots like that,” he taunted with a crooked grin on his face. He wondered if she was gonna call her big a** boyfriend again. “Think we can do this one on one?” He wouldn’t call Aaru or Hali if she kept anyone on her side out of it. Besides, training with Mitry and Damien had given him more experience in fighting.

Saleeite kept her head low while she huffed, glaring at the senshi through her hair. “******** off puppy. I don't want to fight you today. I was having a nice patrol till you decided to chase me.” She hissed, slowly getting onto her feet on shaky legs. She couldn't tell how far he was, but she would have to take a gander. As soon as she felt like he was close enough, Saleeite threw her kunai at him and rushed to tackle him as well, “Sure, why not? I can beat your a** without Polar around, so long as you don't call your order buddies to double team me again…” Straddling him, she summoned her weapon, into her hand, looking down at the senshi with nothing but maniacal grin. “Welp….Better try to stop me, otherwise I might slip and hit your jugular.”

Sarin just laughed as he came closer. “Yeah, well, maybe you should have thought about that before turning to Chaos,” he said, getting ready to fight as he watched her get up. Suddenly she threw something at him, and he felt a blade slice his cheek as he moved out of the way a little too late. And then he was on the ground with Saleeite above him. s**t! He rolled his eyes. “I only called them cuz you called your boyfriend,” he spat as he tried to roll to switch their positions or at least get her off of him. When he saw her weapon, he reached up to grab her wrist to stop her from using it.

“It's not MY fault you used that stupid power of yours and made me call him!” She growled, trying to push against the strength being used to keep her from jamming her kunai into the senshi’s chest. She could see that she wasn't going to win in a battle against strength [despite the fact that she is a stage above him], so she opted to cheat. Since her other hand was free, Saleeite giggled, then practically jammed her hand into the senshi’s chest. Her hand immediately started squeezing. “Better let go puppy. I might just take your starseed for my own~” She’s handled a couple of starseeds before, but this was her first time touching one that belonged to someone powered.

He shoved at the arm that she held the kunai with, not wanting to get stabbed in the chest with the wicked looking thing. Thankfully, he seemed to be stronger than her despite her being a Captain now, but then she decided to cheat. He should have known she would. He had gotten complacent, confident that she wouldn’t stab him because he was stronger than she was.

That was when she stuck her hand in his chest and wrapped her delicate fingers around his starseed. He grit his teeth against the pain, against the weird sensation of someone’s hand in his chest. He tried to fight the scream that welled up in his throat but eventually he let it out, shoving one foot against the ground to try and topple her off of him while he tried to at least move her arm enough that she wouldn’t stab him somewhere vital.

AH! bingo.

Saleeite didn't waste time, taking advantage and forcing her hand down, being jostled by the senshi’s attempts to get her off of him. Instead of hitting a vital artery, her kunai embedded itself into the senshi’s shoulder instead, the deep wound causing a lot of blood to come out. She removed her hand from his chest, giggling and wriggling her hand as if she was trying to get some dirt off of it. Well…She still got the job done so she was going to call that a victory. Finally sitting up and getting off of the senshi, the agent wrapped the chain around her hand and yanked to pull her kunai out of her target’s shoulder. “Id say….I win this round.” Tossing her weapon into subspace, Saleeite gave her downed opponent a salute. “Next time, think before you decide to bother me again, puppy.” There was a blipping sound, indicating that she had teleported away, outside of his sensing range.

This was a victory she was so going to tell Polar about.

Maybe she would get the good girl praise? Or that's my girl? Either way, she was buzzing with excitement.

And then he was screaming for an entirely different reason as her weapon became embedded in his shoulder. At least it wasn’t his chest. But still, it freakin’ hurt and he could feel a lot of blood coming from the wound. That one was going to scar. Great. That was all he needed, a scar to remind him of the crazy b***h he kept encountering.

She pulled her hand out of his chest and his pain was cut in half and focused on his shoulder as she teleported somewhere he couldn’t sense her. He groaned and let his head fall back against the cement of the roof. He really needed more battle practice with powered people.
