Now that she was newly promoted, Saleeite was determined to go out causing trouble. Of course Polarite would be within range, but this time she would make sure she wouldn't need to call him in to help her. Currently, she was draining some poor dude that thought he could one up her, keeping the chain attached to her kunai wrapped around his neck while she had her legs wrapped around his midsection. “Maybe you should think twice before trying to take on someone you're assuming is weaker than you buddy.” She squeezed the chain tighter, draining more energy. The man started to sink to his knees, the gurgling sounds he made sounded pleasing to her ears.
Eventually, she let him go as soon as he passed out, stomping on his back with her boot. “That wasn't satisfying enough…Hummmmn…” She needed a bigger challenge and a chance to get more energy.
There was a small part of him that wondered if he ought to commend the agents that only drained drunks and other problematic types of people, but he knew better. Lowlife or not, they didn't deserve to have that done to them any more than a regular person did. Just because the victim of a crime was a distasteful person didn't make the crime any less of a crime, or the victim any less of a victim.
So Urda heaved a small sigh as he looked down into an alley after sensing a Chaos signature and watched as the agent quite literally stomped on the now unconscious person. No doubt he probably was drained of whatever energy he might have had left in him for the evening.
"Lemme guess," he called down to the agent, "you think you're doing society a favor for taking these sorts of guys out?"
Huh?
Oh! An order signature!
Saleeite turned to look up at the senshi with her head cocked to the side, jerking her thumb back, “Oh? You mean that guy?” She giggled, swinging her kunai in a circle with it inching dangerously close to her victim on the ground. “Nah. He just walked down the alley and I hopped on him like a koala~” She squinted at the senshi as if to assess something then decided she would wait just a bit to see what he is capable of. Honestly, she wanted to jump on him too but that could be a very bad thing for her if she didn't temper herself.
For once, she wasn't trying to call Polar to her rescue…She’s a big girl, she could handle herself.
“So let me guess…Youre here to tell me why I should leave civilians alone right? That I'm such a bad person for stealing energy and I'm on the wrong side of things…” Her voice sounded all mocking and whiny, rolling her eyes at the end. “Look, I do what I want and you order people do what you want. Sorry not sorry I steal energy and starseeds. You can take it up with my boss if you have a complaint.”
It was hard not to roll his eyes at someone with as little sympathy as this agent was displaying, but Urda thought better of it. He wasn't all that experienced a fighter, though with Ellicott's help he was confident he could hold his own in a fight so long as he wasn't severely outranked–which, this agent felt on par with his energy level, so that was fine. If they wound up fighting, though, then at least he wouldn't have done anything to particularly motivate them to try extra hard in said fight.
"Would be wasting my breath," was all he said, eyes the weapon she was swinging about. From where he was leaning he couldn't really make out what it was, except for the obvious fact that it was on a chain so she likely had some range with her attack.
So did he, so that was also fine.
"As long as you're not under some weird delusion, I guess, and know that you and all the other agents are the bad guy in all this."
“Honestly? I’d say both sides are in the wrong but you're not going to agree with me on this so whatever. Gonna come fight me or just stand there on the roof like some sort of weird superhero?” She cocked her hip to the side, still swinging her kunai chain around. Maybe she should just stab the man on the ground since she was pretty sure the senshi wasn't going to come down for whatever reason he had. That's alright, she didn't want to know what kind of power he had or whatever…
So, stabby stab it is then.
“Well, since this is getting nowhere fast…” She walked over to the civilian, smiling maliciously, “Might as well entertain myself yeah?” She stood by her victim and looked back up at the senshi on the roof with her weapon now in her hand. “Wonder how many times I can embed my kunai into this man before he completely bleeds out? Let’s see…” She squatted down, then raised the kunai up, jamming it into the man’s arm. “One….” she pulled it up then went to bring it down again.
Urda watched from the rooftop as she approached the man, palm flat on the building and brow raised in question. It didn't bother too much if the man got stabbed in the process of all this. She'd already drained him, and he wasn't among those that would put himself in harm's way just to save a civilian from bodily harm. He still had to watch his own back, after all; he wasn't fully sold on dying for this particular cause, though he had no problems fighting for it.
"All of 'em, just batshit ********' crazy," he muttered, rolling his eyes while hopping up onto the ledge just as she counted off the first stab. The jump down wasn't too bad, and he landed rather gracefully several feet from where she was assaulting the man.
Immediately he rested his palm on the ground and called on one of his attacks, hoping to put a large blackthorn bush between her and her victim.
Super — He summons a large, dense Blackthorn shrub by placing the palm of his hand on the ground while facing his intended target(s). The shrub rapidly grows around up to 2 targets, fully trapping them inside. While inside, the target(s) will experience the sensation of being pierced by thorns for 30 seconds, after which the shrub withers away. It feels similar to getting lightly pricked by a lot of little needles at the same time. It’s possible to escape, though the sensation is incredibly unpleasant and would feel more like being cut with small knives. Players can choose to take lasting damage; at this stage, this might feel like papercuts, small punctures, or even moderate slashes. Can be used up to 2 times in a battle.
Saleeite was about to stab the man again when she was suddenly enveloped in…A bush? She started to struggle, yelping when she felt like she was being pierced by tiny little needles or thorns? Well…This wasn't something she was going to tolerate for too long. Despite the pain, Saleeite tried to break free so she could get at the senshi and give him a taste of pain since he wanted to cause it with his little bush attack. There was a cut on her neck that drew a small sliver of blood, but she would worry about that later. The agent kept struggling, the pain intensifying till it felt like she was being cut by thousands of knives. Well, the senshi’s magic had to end at some point right?
Her eyes turned murderous while she struggled, the grip on her weapon tightening as her fury increased.
Urda was still all frowny as he moved in closer, giving the bush she was trapped in a wide berth in case she was able to escape it, and got to the unconscious man that now sported a stab injury. It didn't...
No, it looked pretty bad.
"Alright, well," he started to say, frowning as he bent down to both get a closer look at her victim as well as keep his hand on the ground in case the bush withered while he was working to get the man away. He knew the bush was only up for seconds, so he didn't want to waste any time at all with getting the civilian out of harm's way.
"I think I'll try and get this guy to a hospital to make sure he gets this wound looked at. Scratching his head with his free hand, he glanced over at the agent, red eyes full of judgement, before he looked away and started to hoist the man on his shoulders. "You're better off staying still in there," he went on, still crouched with his palm on the ground but taking mindful steps away from the agent now. The more distance between them.
"It hurts less, I've noticed."
This senshi was….annoying. Saleeite watched as the senshi casually went to pick up the civilian so he could take him to the hospital. Great, there went her fun. As soon as the senshi put distance between them, she relaxed a little. She didn't have the time or patience to chase after the stupid person, but that didn't mean she wouldn't memorize what he looked like so she would be more cautious of him in the future, especially with a power like his.
