It wasn't often since he had bonded with little Kelara that Toby found himself on his own for long enough to go on a good flight. Oh, there was no mistake; he would rather never be able to fly again than to give up the tiny pronghorn he had saved. She was so soft and sweet, bringing such joy to his life. Still, it was nice to have some time to himself to stretch his wings. Twirling mid-air, Toby glanced at the position of the rising sun before grinning to himself. If he hurried, he might be able to sneak up on one of his many siblings before they got up and about for the day. Time for some mischief!

Unlike her sister, Cadeau, Antionette had never mastered the art of rising with or even before the sun. Where Caddy was up and preparing herself for her day while the bird still dozed, Anni lounged about in her own nest, taking the advise of the stars that lingered in the sky. Because of this, she was unaware of the approach of mischief on the horizon, swathed as she was in gossamer dreams of sweet conversation with sweeter company. A stallion, his face a blur and his voice a low murmur, and yet his words were clear. Anni giggled in her dream, head swimming with imagined drink and the long night of dancing and laughter. He whispered into her ear sweetness that dripped from the hives of honey bees, and she shivered under his attentions. She giggled, the sound reaching the outside world as she slept on and curled tighter into her nest. "Oh, you," she muttered, the sound in the real world slurred and silly sounding in her sleep. It ended in a sigh and another giggle as a flush reached her cheeks.

Toby's sharp gaze spotted Caddy already up and about, so that was one sister out of the running, but oh ho there was sweet Annie, still all sweetly sleeping. Grinning to himself with pure impish glee, the ruby and gold stallion fanned his wings to slow his flight, descending as silently as he could before settling back on the earth. Shaking out his wings to settle his feathers, he took a quick moment to nuzzle Caddy, playfully giving her horns a quick nibble just to make her laugh, murmuring a quick good morning before wiggling his brows cocking his head towards their still sleeping sister silently letting her know there was to be shenanigans afoot...of course where Toby went there usually was.
Slipping on silent hooves towards Annie's nest, Toby's ears perked up, hearing her sleepy murmurs, a wicked grin coming across his muzzle as he couldn't help himself. Lowering his head, he crooned in her ear, "Oh my Annie, who are you dreaming about, sister dearest?"

Caddy allowed the easy affection -- she always did. Toby was an irritation, but little brothers often were.
"Mind the ornaments, Toby," she chided gently as she continued primping for her day. "and try not to wake her. It's far too early for her dramatics."
Not that she expected Toby to listen.
Meanwhile, Anni dremt on. The stallion was a wonderful dancer. He moved like water over stones, flowing around and never upsetting. The pair moved like they were of one body. One mind. One soul. The dream moved so that Anni was looking at herself and her partner, dancing on a floor made of light to music that she couldn't possibly begin to recognize. This must have been how mother and father felt, she decided. This must have been what their great romance was like. Dreamy and sweet. All spun sugar and glittering mica powder.
"Oh my Anni," the stallion whispered into her ear. Which was odd, since Anni didn't remember telling him her name. "Who are you dreaming about, sister dearest?"
Sister?
Anni pulled away, confusion twisting her face. The stallion smiled down at her but there was something... different about him. Something changing. Something making him more... familiar. His coat ws getting redder, his hait whiter, and his smile more... irritating...
Anni opened her eyes a moment later, the world fuzzy and her head groggy as wakefulness creot back into her bones. As it did, however, confusion melted into aggitation.
"Oh," she huffed, scrambling to her feet. "Oh! Oh, Toby!" She stomped her hooves and thumping him in the shoulder with her muzzle. "I was having the most wonderful dream! And you came along and ruined it! And it's so gods damned early"
"Language," Caddy chided form her own nest, her gaze still fixed on the mirror before her as she adjusted her mane.
