Ainsley had left without waking Alexis, which was unusual. The teenager usually wanted to take him with her, which was perfect since Alexis had felt some kind of protectiveness over her since she had found him. The feline liked to go wherever she did to make sure she didn’t get into too much trouble, though she had no idea of what he actually was. “Mon Dieu,” he heaved a sigh and continued to grumble in French about human teenagers and their ridiculous tendencies to not follow directions, or to do whatever they want regardless of the consequences.

It was early enough that it wasn’t likely for Idirian or Noa to be awake, so Alexis didn’t bother modulating his volume as he ranted. He definitely did not notice the nursery’s open door.

Idirian had already dropped Ainsley off at her soccer day camp that morning and decided to finish the last couple of things in the nursery. He wanted to make sure that it was finished before Haji’s arrival, so they could be ready. Speaking of their bouncing baby boy, Noa had already been awake due to his bouncing on her bladder, so now she rested in the rocking chair while he finished putting things together.

Over her quiet humming, Idri heard some kind of muttering. Had Ainsley left her television on before they left? He turned toward her room to hear better and caught sight of Alexis coming down the hall. His mouth was moving with what Idri thought to be French and he stared. Was the random furball his sister brought home and spoiled a Guardian? “Noa… Is Alexis…talking?” Or was he finally going crazy?

Alexis froze at the sound of Idirian’s voice. He looked up at the open nursery door where the giant sat on the floor with bits and pieces of some new baby contraption surrounding him on the floor. Behind him was Noa on the rocking chair. Merde! “Uh….meow?” Putain! That was stupid.

Noa was a little crabby considering the fact that Haji wanted to wake her up about an hour or two early to do jumping jacks on her bladder. So, she got up to go to the bathroom, then walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of chocolate milk, rubbing her eyes as she made her way back to the room to put on one of Idri’s shirts to cover up her nudity. Alexis tried to follow her but she simply told him no and to wait outside, smiling when he followed her instructions even though he looked….Disappointed? Could a cat even feel that? Either way, she made her way to the nursery to wait for Idri to come back from taking Ainsley to soccer practice, and now?

She blinked when Idri asked her if their cat was talking.

“Uhhhh….Babe are you---” Then she heard something that sounded like a heavily accented meow. A slow blink, once, twice, then a third time before it finally hit Noa full force. “Alexis you can TALK?!” she raced[more like fast waddled] up to the cat, picking him up to look him in the eyes. “So you mean to tell me….ALL this time I thought you were a normal, unassuming cat…You’ve been a sentient being the entire time?! Alexis I’ve been butt a** ******** naked in front of you HOW many times?!” Her gaze took a deadly chaotic glint to it, “So ... .What's your star look like Alexxxiiiiiii?” Because if it was anything other than black, they would have to explain to Ainsley that her favorite cat ran away…

Alexis was in danger.

He yelped as Noa picked him up, eyes wide as Noa went from anger to plotting his murder. “Black!” he yowled. “Mon étoile est noire!” Considering both Noa and Idirian were Negaverse captains, if his star had been any other color he would not have seen another sunset. As for the part about seeing her naked, well… He wasn’t really sorry about that. He only regretted that he hadn’t realized what would happen when he finally did reveal himself.

Which had not been planned for today. “I am no white moon spy,” he spat. “I am Chaos.” He even managed to sound indignant about that, as if he were offended they would think he was anything otherwise.

It took a little bit longer for Idirian’s brain to catch up with what was happening as Noa waddled up and grabbed Alexis. “Wait, what?” he exclaimed. Alexis was never around when Idri was nude, so he had never really thought about him being around Noa. He was just a cat!

Except now he wasn’t. A dark expression came over Idri’s face as he stood and came over to stand behind Noa. “You…are very lucky that my sister is extremely attached to you, b*****d,” he nearly growled. He would make sure Alexis was not anywhere near their room ever again.

Noa’s expression switched from almost murderous to sweet in an instant as she cuddled Alexis close. “Good! Well at least we won't have to worry about you being a tattletale.~” she looked up at her boyfriend, blowing in his face, “Calm down big guy, he's still a cat right now so no harm no fowl, just means that I am now nude in front of an alien instead!” Which was actually super cool now that she thought about it.

“So now that you're out of the bag, do you know who you're bonded to?” It couldn't be Ains since she isn't a senshi or anyone powered really. However, this did mean that they would have to keep Alexi close to keep him from bonding with anyone else, because she did not want to make the teen sad.

Alexis relaxed the moment Noa’s expression shifted, purring quietly as he was cuddled. He tried not to snicker at Noa blowing in Idri’s face, but it was humorous. She didn’t seem to mind at all that she had been nude in front of him now. He let out a dramatic sigh when she asked about his bonded senshi. “Sadly, I do not, ma beauté,” he responded. In all honesty he wouldn’t want to be bonded to anyone but Ainsley, though he could not put a paw on why that was.

Idri turned to Noa when she seemed to be fine once Alexis had declared his allegiance, dumbstruck since she had seemed so upset about it moments before. And then she blew in his face. Rude. He huffed at her, still scowling at the cat but speaking to Noa. “You don’t need to be nude for anyone but me.” And the people who watch her online videos, but that was neither here nor there. She didn’t need to be nude in front of Alexis, not now that they knew he was conscious of it.

“Fiiiiine, I guess I'll try to be more careful now~” She didn't want her boyfriend to cause the mauvian any harm because she was careless and still thought of him as a regular animal. “Well, maybe you will find your senshi one day. For now, you could just stay with us for as long as you’d like. Riiiiiiight Idri?” She gave him her best pouty face, blinking her eyes enticingly.

Alexis grumbled a bit at Idirian’s banning of Noa being nude in front of him. Alas. He would have to find another feminine form to admire. A nod of his furry head signaled agreement to finding his senshi one day. Although he would be loath to abandon Ainsley. There had always been something about the young woman that drew him to her. He rubbed his head along Noa’s jaw and purred, giving her giant boyfriend an innocent and pleading look. “S'il te plaît, Idirian?” he begged cutely, making gentle biscuits on Noa’s chest.

Idri relaxed a bit and nodded as Noa relented. He didn’t like it that Alexis had already seen her nude, but there was nothing he could do about it except ask her not to allow it again. And then they both started begging for him to let Alexis stay as long as he liked. He tilted his head back as if praying for help. “You can stay as long as my sister takes care of you,” he said as he looked at them again. “And only because Ains and Noa like you so much.”

Yay!

Noa gave Idri a big smile and got on her tippy toes to kiss his chin with gratitude. “Thank you Idri! I promise me and Ains will keep him out of trouble.” He would have to watch himself around the teen though since she was a normal human being and not an agent or godforbid, a senshi. But now that everything is settled, Noa put the mauvian down…Carefully since what are shorts and underwear? Optional as far as Noa was concerned.

“You'll keep purring for Haji right? He seems to like it.” And if kept the kid from karate kicking her in various spots in the uterus.

It always made him smile when Noa did, and he bent enough for her to reach him better before laying a kiss on her head. “I know you will,” he said. Or at least they would try. He shook his head a bit before getting back down onto the floor to finish putting together the new changing table he had gotten. This one was easily height adjustable since there was such a gap in their sizes.

Alexis relaxed as Idri allowed him to stay, though he had already been fairly certain he would since Ainsley loved him so much. He grumbled a bit as Noa set him down, but he did get a glimpse of the curve of her a** before she hid herself. “Mais bien sûr, ma chérie!” he said happily. “Of course I will purr for le petit prince.” And he would. Not only did it allow him to be pressed up against Noa’s side but he did enjoy feeling the baby’s little hands or feet pushing against him from inside his mother.

Noa made her way back to the rocking chair, tucking the shirt she stole underneath herself before patting her chest, “C'mon Alexis! We can watch from our throne while the giant handyman builds his prince's changing table~” she yawned, leaning back with a content smile. Maybe she could catch a nap while Idri worked? It seemed like that combined with Alexis’s purring did in fact cause her to sleep, small hand slowly making it's Way through the cat's fur. Didn't matter that Alexis was an alien, he was still their beloved cat, even if Idri wanted to murder him sometimes.

Idri chuckled a little as Noa invited Alexis to lay on her chest while he worked on the changing table. After a little while, both Noa and Alexis were asleep and the changing table was completed. He tried the adjustment mechanism to make sure it worked and smiled when it did. Now Noa could decorate it however she wanted to. He leaned back on his hands then and watched Noa sleep for a few minutes. It wouldn’t be much longer until their lives changed.

He couldn’t wait.
