Name: Vivian Mhairi du Lac
xxxxxxxxxMAR-ee
Nickname: Responds to various renditions of Vivian and Mhairi

Gender/Pronoun: She/Her

Age: 28

Birthday: May 4th, 1997 (according to her Mauvian-created ID)

Fav. Food: Sweetened coffee and teas

Hated Food: Doesn't really have one

Occupation: Clerk/barista at a small bookshop-cafe

Hobbies:

Thrifty: Reuse, repurpose, and if all else fails, recycle whatever's left after she's messed around with the material to the point of mangled existence. A remainder, Vivian finds a lot of fun and utility in bargain hunting, or DIY projects to spruce up a space or wardrobe on a limited budget. Sewing curtains into clothing, or adjusting pieces found at second hand stores; reupholstering and repainting or restaining chairs to breathe some life back into them… the list goes on. She is not a fan of one-time use items, and even any gifts she gives are things handmade, homemade, thrifted, or are things that can be reused numerous times by the receiver.

Gymnastics and Acrobatics: Call it muscle memory, call it a continued love of movement, Vivian deeply enjoys the physical demands and visuals of gymnastics and acrobatics. Dance, too, but her free time is more in gymnastics gyms, and wherever outdoors she can practice feats of timing and dexterity. She's enjoying learning how to perform similar movements with aerial silks and rings. For her, the movements are as exhilarating as they are calming, a way to vent any excess energy or give herself a well-known routine to continuously move through while she considers problems.

Rehabilitating Morgan: As in the asteroid. Her time there has made her feel… a much greater pull to the world, and has pushed into a strong drive to try and clean up old homes, places of cultural significance, libaries… She's not sure what her goal is with it all, but she can't help but compare it to trying to breathe new life into old furniture (and certainly can put that into practice aplenty there). Can't return it to its previous state, that time has passed, but it can still be updated, refurbished, and given new purpose.

Virtues:
Observant -- Though not as loud and boisterous as she previously was, Vivian still is the type to watch people. Body language, expressions, tones of voice… it's not remotely a science, but she feels she can get a strong enough read on people--even if she's aware she's rebuilding a lot of her perspective on people. She's slowed down a bit, giving her the time to take in the sights and behaviors around her, making mental notes of her surroundings and those near her. Likes, dislikes, color choices, what topics to try and avoid… She doesn't want to miss any of it, if only to give her better ideas of gifts or assistance she can give those she finds a fondness for.

Helpful -- She expects nothing back. No favor, no return, nothing. She just wants to help others. If she hears someone is having a problem, she'll do what she can to support them, but more than that, she'll offer what she can to help address it. Going out of her way to lend a hand, be it to a stranger or friend, isn't abnormal to her. If anything, the idea of self-focused behavior baffles her. It's just quicker to handle a situation as head on as possible, in her mind, especially with the assistance of others.

Flaws:
Reckless -- She'll consider the situation, the angles, the risks, the costs… and usually more often than not, Vivian will still go for the direct route, jumping into fray or danger. She knows the danger, she knows the risk of this--really, she'd be angry at any other doing the exact same thing she is. There's a mixture in her behavior. One part trusting in her own abilities, a sense (be it accurate or not) that she can handle the situation she's running headfirst into. The other is a sense that if anyone should be injured, she'd rather it be her instead of someone else.

Frosty -- She's certainly better at regulating her responses and emotions now, far less likely to lash out. But she's also got a tendency to take it to an extreme. Vivian holds a lot back--partially because she's still processing how to feel about things herself, but partially because she doesn't want to give people around her reasons to worry or stress out. Unfortunately, this can head into the territory of frosty. Her lack of outward responses to situations around her can make her seem cold and detached, blunt commentary risking sounding heartless. It's not that she doesn't care, though, she's just trying to prevent others from worrying about her or some situation around them.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

All the same as previous, except:

Hair: Thick black hair for the majority, except her bangs. The previously bright red locks are now snow white, with parts long enough to be swept up with the rest of her hair to cause white streaks to be seen around.

And new magics since old were quite outdated:

Sailor Scout Attack:
The Sealed Gate
Focusing her magic, her left hand glows red. Thrusting that hand forward, a barrier forms about an inch beyond where her hand is, shimmering in the air and giving anyone whom looks through it a warped, almost otherworldly glimpse, where strange creatures seem to move about in physics that cannot exist by our world's standards.

First stage attacks are fully blocked.
Second stage attacks have their damage halved.
Third stage and upward attacks are not affected.

The barrier itself is only as wide as her arm span and stands about six feet tall. While Morgan can move while channeling her barrier, and thus re-position the barrier, anyone who gets beyond the barrier can hit Morgan without issue. Morgan can only support the barrier for 30 seconds before it vanishes and her hand ceases its glow. She can only use this magic three times per day.

Super Sailor Scout Attack:
The Gate Stands Strong
Morgan focuses her magic and her left hand glows red. Thrusting her hand upward, a barrier begins to form. A large, ethereal stone wall in a dome-like shape rises up ten feet above Morgan's head, and stretches in a radius of fifteen feet around her. Anyone who tries to look through the cracks between what appears to be barred and chained wooden doors and stone walls, would see brief glimpses of a very bizarre and otherworldly realm.

First stage attacks are fully blocked.
Second stage attacks are fully blocked.
Third stage attacks have their damage halved.
Fourth stage attacks are not affected.

Morgan cannot move while using her attack, and doing so would cancel out the magic. She can only support it for 35 seconds before the barrier fades. She can only summon it twice per day.

Per player choice, attacking the door or the walls results in sounds of snarls, thuds, and metal against stone screeches. All giving the illusionary effect of believing denizens on the other side of the barrier are getting riled up by the hits.

Eternal Sailor Attack:
Unseal the Gate
Focusing her magic, a red crystalline orb forms in her palm. Crushing it in her hand triggers a large circular, closed gateway to form beneath her targets, opening wide and giving the illusion of them falling into it. A spectral, shimmering dome stretches over the gateway fifteen feet tall, and with a fifteen-foot diameter, the same size as the gateway on the ground.

For those within the dome, they are subject to an illusion of eldritch horrors and twisted beasts and figures bursting from the opening gateway, twisting around them, shrieking and laughing as they claw at their victims. No damage is actually caused by the illusions, but per player choice characters can receive bruises and (non-lethal) cuts they believe were caused by the entities.

After 45 seconds, the dome barrier falls, and those within are freed from the illusionary gateway.

It takes great effort to enter or leave the dome after the magic is cast. From the outside, it looks only like shimmering red, semi-opaque air with ghostly dark figures moving beyond it.

Morgan can use this magic once per day.
