Poultrygeist (15) : As Destiny City is a bustling metropolis, it’s not unexpected that there should be some strange animals running the streets. Sometimes it’s a tiger, sometimes a monkey, sometimes a chicken. Sometimes it’s something worse. Strange egg clusters have appeared in Destiny City’s parks and officials aren’t really sure what they are; these eggs have nothing inside of them. Though it’s an anomaly, they are chalking it up to teenaged pranks. However, they have advised to just leave the eggs as they are. Nobody wants to say why, but if you’re out late at night, you’ll find out. In the darkness, whispered between the sounds of the city: a guttural, rasping cluck. The creature stands on stilt-like legs, rooted to the ground with razor-sharp talons. It wears a cloak of long, oily feathers that drag on the ground with a sinister scraping. If you stare into the darkness, piercing red eyes stare back at you. That’s all it takes for a confrontation: a mangled bird, maybe a chicken in another life, comes barreling out at you. It stands easily as tall as a person, but the proportions are all wrong. The smell of sulfur follows it as it lunges, pecking and screaming and scratching as it attempts to chase you away. Maybe, from the nests full of empty eggs. The battles are fierce, but fleeting; it will viciously try to chase you away but the effects are always the same: at some point, the eggs are crushed. As always, there’s nothing inside of them, but with one final wail, the bird will vanish into a plume of foul smoke.
Note: If you choose to encounter one of these bird-like creatures, your character will recognize they are not youma. It is impossible to tell if it is a single entity or if there are many. The bird does not seem to understand or care to listen to human words. It will always disappear in a malodorous plume of smoke and leave nothing but a foul odor and a clutch of empty, broken eggs behind. This RP can be used as a battle requirement as long as there are two powered characters involved; you must be interacting with another player’s powered character. This does not count as the one youma battle per stage for growth so characters can still use an NPC youma battle as well as this one for growth purposes. This can only be used as a battle requirement once per character, but there is no limitation for how many times a player can use this prompt.
Tea had heard about the crazy chicken encounters. The latest happened to be from her sister. So the super senshi decided it was time to go check it out. She mused as she looked at her phone and the area that was suppose to be home to this not a chicken, chicken. "Weird, I should be seeing signs by now."
There was a soft crunch under her ballet pink shoe. And she paused, slowly looking down and making an "OH!" noise. This wasn't good. This wasn't good at all.
She heard the croaking call before she seen the creature it belonged to. There the blood curdling call from somewhere cane again and she whipped around looking to see where it was it. She'd just pissed off the thing and it was barreling towards her. The super senshi of mice squeaked trying to move out of its way. "Byakko warned me about thissss." She said out loud before tripping over more eggs.

"What the hell…?" The senshi snapped his head out from the bush he'd been going to inspect for these so-called eggs, eyes narrowed and brows furrowed at what was maybe one of the weirdest sounding squawks he'd ever heard in his life. Which had, so far, been not that long but certainly long enough to be able to identify a proper squawk when he heard one.
And that? Was not it.
Abandoning his task of satisfying his curiosity, Urda sprinted off toward where he thought he heard it all coming from. The scene he came upon was not pretty or ideal–a demon-esque chicken going after a senshi that was tripping over…
"Are those eggs?" he called out loud, hoping to get her attention to maybe reassure her that she wasn't alone before poising to strike the ground and focus his attack on the ornery chicken-creature.
Super — He summons a large, dense Blackthorn shrub by placing the palm of his hand on the ground while facing his intended target(s). The shrub rapidly grows around up to 2 targets, fully trapping them inside. While inside, the target(s) will experience the sensation of being pierced by thorns for 30 seconds, after which the shrub withers away. It feels similar to getting lightly pricked by a lot of little needles at the same time. It’s possible to escape, though the sensation is incredibly unpleasant and would feel more like being cut with small knives. Players can choose to take lasting damage; at this stage, this might feel like papercuts, small punctures, or even moderate slashes. Can be used up to 2 times in a battle.
Tea caught herself with one arm and used it to push herself up and away from the rampaging chicken just in time to hear someone ask if those were eggs. "Yeah, they seem to be empty but this thing gets really upset if you step on them."
She'd figured it out between a mix of her and what she'd heard from her sister. This was not a very pleasant situation to be in. Considering her magic was useless in a fight. She watched the other summon a bush that had thorns on it. Useful, more so than a mouse at least. The super senshi sighed and made her way towards the other.
"Glad I took up skateboarding and some dance." She said crossing her arms watching as the chicken fought the blackthorn bush. What she wouldn't give for a skateboard right now, she'd kick flip it into the bird's head. "I think we need a plan of attack. My magic is going to be useless against this thing."

Urda watched with a small sense of satisfaction as the chicken tried to fight its way out of the bush. It wouldn't last long, but it was holding up pretty well considering how the thing was thrashing about. He glanced sideward when she came over and nodded his agreement. They certainly did need a plan, though what that entailed he had no idea.
"Well, I've got one more use of that big one, and three kinda smaller ones, so I can kinda hold it in place while we figure things out." There was a pause as he considered the creature and kind of the situation as a whole.
"You said it doesn't like us crushing the eggs, yeah?" he asked, as though an idea was trying to worm its way into his head but currently failing because he lacked some information.
Tea seemed thoughtful, "Okay, my magic just heals... basically." She said watching and looking around for something useful as he said he had one more large bush attack and some smaller ones.
She was thinking when he asked about the eggs, "Yeah my sister said that it attacks if the eggs are crushed. She also mentioned it's rather stinky when you hit it."
She glanced to the cluster of trees, "I wonder if we could find some sticks and smack it until it runs or something?" Between the bush and attacking it with some sort of something to keep the stink from transferring to their uniforms sounded A+ to her really.
"Or we could go the normal route of just punching it until something happens."

He smirked.
"The branches might be a good idea," he said, eyeing the thing as it finalyl escaped from the giant bush. Urda again lowered himself to the ground and pressed a flat palm to it, eyes up and focused on the chicken as he raced toward them before again getting stuck inside a slightly smaller bush this time.
"That way we can smack it while it's stuck inside the bushes. C'mon, that'll probably get us a few more seconds to run and find some sturdy branches we could use."
Hurrying over to the closest cluster of trees and foliage, he rummaged around until he found a pair of branches that looked like they could hold their own as clubs. "Found some!" he said, holding up the branches for her to see and inadvertently posing like a "V" for victory. The grin on his face was immediately wiped as he watched the chicken break free from his bush and make a break for the senshi.
"Look out!" he called out as he threw the branch at her, biting back a swear as he did. He thought there'd be more time before the bush withered away. He guessed wrong, and in the very back of his mind he thought it'd be prudent to more properly time his attacks in a controlled setting so this didn't happen again.
Basic — He summons a Blackthorn shrub by placing the palm of his hand on the ground while facing his intended target. The shrub rapidly grows around the intended target, trapping them from the waist and below. While inside the shrub, the target will experience the sensation of being pricked by little thorns for 25 seconds, after which the shrub withers away. It feels similar to the tingles that come when blood circulation is restored to a limb that’s fallen asleep. It’s possible to escape, though not without sustaining actual physical injury from the thorns in the shrub. The injuries would largely be minor, though if one is extra careless it could be a little bit worse than that. Can be used up to 3 times in battle.
Tea nodded when Urda said the branches would be a good idea and used his smaller attack to hold the chicken. It didn't seem to take long before he found some branches and it was before she could dig too far. "Awesome!"
She went to grab them when she heard him say watch out. The senshi of mice turned to see the chicken charging at her. There was a small squeak as she turned to move and grabbed the branch that he threw at her. She wasn't fast enough to move completely out of the way of the fowl's wrath and she ended up being knocked down to the ground.
The senshi rolled over and hopped up. She didn't have time to brush herself off but she wrinkled her nose that chicken smelled awful. She aimed the branch towards the feathered fiend as it charged her again. "Ohhh no you don't!" She was more ready this time, and worse case she'd jump on it's back and try to be a rodeo rider.
