Collecting Dragons
Phanes loves dragons. Reading is fine but she absolutely can not pass up a dragon if she finds it in a store. Or thrift store. Or online. She cares not if it is sculpoture or an incense burner or candle holder or jewelry or some decor or bauyble, she must have iut. She doesn't CARE if you call it a problem, she wants it. Phanes has gone out and actively made Sculpey sculpts of her favorite fictional dragons just toi have. Do not ask her to shoew you. You might not leave for hours.

Digital Art
Ohanes likes to draw. NO DON'T TELL ANYONJE -- DAMNIT! But Phanes likes to sit at her computer drawing, working for hours on stupid doodles and drawings like some sort of zombie. Whiule the ikllustrations and drawings she shows people are epic warriors, dragons, and intense Heroic Scenes And Serious Business.... She will hide her silly, cute doodles of cute animals making friends with dragons or of other sweet, wholesome images. She's a bit embarrassed to admit she likes to draw on her computer as-is, so she seldom admits most of it is actually cute. At all.

Lore-Filled Gaming
Most people get a thrill reading. Phanes gets a thrill from participating in games with lore and stories. So JRPGs, Role Play, Tabletop, LARP, you name it, she's in. Phanes loves a deep rich interqactive story with detailled characters and well-written and planned storylines full of twists and turns and unexpected plans. Sometimes she loves the heroes, sometimes villians. Her characters, surprisingly, run into Tryue Neutral territory, and the gal absolutely lives for more story. Sometimes she jkiust looks lore up online, to decide if she'll play something, so if there's good lore, she'll play it. Or Role Play. Lore. She wants it.

Phanes is... Cunning. Usually able to plan for things, Phanes uses smarts and planning to face challenges and people incrront of her. She's far from the most easy target when iut comes down to affairs and she can plan on the fly if something comes up. She looks at challenges as fun mind sports and not always as ordeals. She sees unusual events as something to be faced and inspected over something to be feared, entirely because she feels she can think her way out of a situation and get others out too. No, Phanes plans. and schemes. And you never know what's in her mind.


Fearfless

Phanes isn't really afraid of anything. She's not scared of horror movies and stories. She's not phased by the news. She's fed her mind on tales of heroes and honor and whiulke she's not going to deny something might alarm her she'd not frightened. She'll march up to anyone or... Sadly anything and do what she feels needs done, and others backing down in fear. Phanes would rather be the one facing trouble over others, and this means anything, a gfact she's accepted.


Tenacious

Once Phanes starts a task she's hard to shake. This can be anything from ribbing her twin to fubakuzubg sine grabd oprihject ti gatghering information. One Phanes puts her mind to a task she's on it like a bloodhound and it's hard to stop her, largely because she doesn't like to give up. While she can give up, even getting her to do so takes tenacity on the part of others, since Phanes is willing to play the long game to achieve her goals. She seldom gives up, and this is what makes her such a competant person.

Phanes was an excellent student and doesn't let her mind lapse despite hobbies, and as such she... She tends to think she's smarter and morem comp[etant than most. There's no malice to it but she tends to act like she's the top dog on the playground and will happily deign to share her talents with others. You know. Because theu weren't blessed with her skill, or knowledge, or some other stupid reason. Phanes' convinced she ended up the 'good twin' and she's convinced she's the ghift that Destiny Ciuty deserves... And needs, honestly. Everything's fine, Phanes is here.... What do you mean to say she has an ego?... Yes, she denies her superiority complex. She's not developed one if it's fact, right? (Absolutely. She has one.)


Opinionated
I think I need your hands to lift me, I think I need your light to shine.
Phanes has Opinions about everything. cShe's straight giiven zero shits what others say about decorum, Phanes will voice her opinions and make them clear. She's not intentionally insensitive, but she is going to tell you that dress makes your a** look big. She's going to tell you she thinks your idiot brother's an idiuot. She doesn't even spare her own family. They're HER opinions, and they're VALID and you can learn to deal.... Sadly. She rarely steps down, and it usually takes experience to get her to even move on with her opinion.


Lacks self-awareness

Phanes is... Not stupid so much as blind to herself. She doesn't exactly realize her problematic behaviour is happening, she just... Acts without thinking. She has absolutely no self-awareness and it's usually needed for someone to point out to her that, well... Well.... She's being kind of a twit. A diungus. A jerk. It's not intentional, Phanes sincerely lacks malice - she lacks the self-awareness to realize when she acts up or out and it's soimething she realkly doesn't get pointed out to her often because she can be a little intimidating. Little intense. So it keeps perpetuating, and she often doesn't 'get' why something goes wrong.




PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION


Eyes:Blue, same shape as her twin brother.

Hair: Phanes has naturally silver, shiny hair, usually in a shorter, tomboyish but attractive cut that is party in the front, and an undercut and professional in the back.

Face: Phanes is very close to Emitt Tucana, her twin brother, but her face is softer and her lips are usually curled in a cmile or smirk. Sometimes Phanes wears make-up. Sometimes not. She considers it "War paint".

Skin Tone: Same as Emitt Tucana, to a T.

Body Type: CURVY. Phanes has an hourglass figure and were she to try it she's likely make a good model. She likes how she looks too!

Clothes: Phanes will wear anything she finds cute and dark, but loose clothing is ideal. Still, she knows the fancy stuff is expensive and she's not Grandpoa Hadrian's favorite since she needles him a lot, so she'll also shop at Hot Topic, Wal Mart, and if possible, Etsy foir niore nberdy clothing and skirts or jeans. SCIENCE!
Apollo loves science. A lot. When most kids were watching cat videos on their parents' iPad, Apollo was watching SciShgow and learning aboyt Tesla or Apollo 11, or he was being shown Kyle Hill videos to learn about other science-related things. Apollo ius thrilled by learning scientific things, like how something works, what spoecies is related to what, etcetera. He has a special fondness for reptiles and observing and learning how they live. Apoollo is that kid who needed more rules than most on the experiments and suck he works on, entirely so he doesn't get in over his head.

Reading
Books are a portal to knowledge. Also,m Scientific journals. Apollo loves reading. He loves educational fare mostly, even if not SCIENCE! but also history, and - well mythology and cryptids. Apollo won't admit mythology or cxryptids excite him, but he is fascinated with a good book. On very rare occasions, he'll pick up a fiction novel... Often, he picks up Star Trek though. He likes Star Trek.

Aliens
You'd thinkj Aliens fall in with science but no, Apollo likes aliens. Aside from his interest in alien biology and the science, Apollo feels a slight kindred to them,,. He likes Alien by James Cameron - the whole series, buit also Steven Universe, even if the series isn't really scientifically accurate to him. There's something in how aliens are portrayed that resonates with Apollo, and Apollo keeps a lot of alien posters, drawings, concept dioramas, and the like in his room. He even built his pet lizard Ifrit a habitat that's bioactive, biut inspired by an alien hellworld of flame, just because [Apollo really likes aliens and imagining meeting one gives him a sense of comfort.

Apolloi can take a lot of hardship and come back. He's not easily deterred and recovers well and quickly from problems or obstacles on front of him. He's come back from bullying, from botched experiments, rejection - the man doesn 't qui. Apollo is able to bounce back from things and keep oin keeping on, without much fuss or complaint, and he's quite fine for it.


Straightfordward
Nothing left to chance, all is working.
Apoillo is that gut who cuts the crap. He's not big on small talk even if he tries, he's not really fond of starting his conversations with what he calls fluff - he doesn't gloss. He'll omit information people might not like hearing, like horrifying descriupotions, and the like - but he won't fritter on needlessly or pat peoiple on the head pretending he's fine. If he's mad at you, you know. If he's there for a reason, he'll tell you. There's no dancing around the social maypole or anything with Apollo and he doesn't feed people lies or what they want to hear. He's just straightforward and sees it as important and why doesn't everyone?


Integrity
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.
Apollo values his integrity and he is honest. Moreover, he will admit when he's wrong. Credibility is important, and Apollo knows he needs to be honest to be credible, credible to be taken seriously, and it goes from there. Apollo is pretty much the guy who does what he says down to the letter, thuroughly. His information is as accurate as he can manage and if he's wrong, he'll inform affected parties and work with them accordingly. People appreciate knowing Apollo values honesty and accuracy over popularity and attention, or needing to be constaqntly right - because he can so easily seem snotty or closed-minded, and he's really not.


Flaws:


Emotionally Blind
I.. Have been Emotionally Compromised.
Apollo... Apollo doesn't understand emotions. He doesn't have words that feel right for most and his usual expression is basically.... Well... Kind of flat. People tend to think he's and unfeeling, cold, heartless a*****e whom doesn't care ewhich isn't true, however, Apollo doesn't know what to do to.... Emote. To feel easily. He tries to fake it but people can tell he's not exactly emoting, he's acting, and people think he's insincere. On rare occasions, Apollo does emote, and it surprises everyone, which makes him feel, well, a little unsure how to respond to people's reactions to his rare emotional moments.


Overanalytical
Now I find that fascinatingly illogical.
Apollo analyzes everything. Thoroughly. Multiple times. Ap[ollo wants to be absolutely sure of everything and every interacxtion and everything in between. Apollo approaches everything scientifically, to the best of his ability. Everything. He's... Well he's not exactly one to br able to avoid analyzing everything, he... Well.... He tries. He just can't resist analyzing it all and trying to understand better.


Easily Irritated

One emotion Apollo knoiws well is anger!... Sadluy. Apollo might be resiliant but he still gbets irritated, angry, and fairly cranky easily and then iut's all chaotic becayuse he acts on it too. Not regrettably often but he will shout and yell and startle someone, even, sometinmes, insult or tewar ubti them. He doesn't mean to irritate so easily, but he has a low tolerance for things that bother him, and he struggles to reign his irritation in,


PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION


Eyes: Apollo has narrow, often tired or calm eyesl the irises are deep, moderate red fading into a bright orange-yellow ring at the edges of his irises, almost like they were glowing. Almost - they genuinely don't glow, iut's simply how his eyes look.

Hair: Apollo has scarlet hair in lklopose layers down to his shoulders, even slightly below them, worn loose. The hair on the sides and top of his head are brushed back, the hair on the sides covering the very top tips of his ears, and he has bangs matching the rest of his hair parted in the center and down to the top of his cheekbones.

Face: Apollo has a slightly long, angular face with a slightly wide chin and square jaw and high cheekbones. He has a small nose and thin, tight lips, although he's usually fairly calm.

Skin Tone: Apollo has clear dark skin with golden undertones - brightnesswise, it's

Body Type: Slim. Rather on the trim side, but nothing spectacular.

Clothes: Apollo has the fashion sense of a blind gerbil. As long as his sclothes don't clash with anything Apollo does not care.

Reading
Eos is a bookworm. Often huiddled away reading in some corner, he kind of prefers books to other things sometimes and likes imagining himself in those scenarios. Eos has excellent rteading comprehension as LAwrence's son, and likes books for teenagers over children's books... Although he won't lie. OPne of the books he loves is How to Eat Fried Worms. Eos also doesn't care what gender the book is for. If it's good, it's good.,, To a certain level, Eos also reads graphic novels... Vetted by Lawrence to avoid traumatizing his son, of course - Eos' favorites tend to include wizards. Or robots. His top favorite actually is any Legend of Zelda manga.

Gaming
Although Eos is curious about table top games and plays card games with his twin Cyrus, his main game, being a child,m is video games. Not merely new ones! Nintendo made him mad and XBox and Playstation, in his mind, are for grownups, sop Eos enjoys ggames on older consoles. He has a few mini consoles for variety and he loves them. His favorites are the first three Zelda games... And the Gameboy ones onf his Switch 1.... Eor really likes Zelda and JRPGs best of anything, and as such the small child often likes to play those, although, he also likes playtformers likje Mario. He's a wee obsessed though. Eos buys really old Nintendo Power magazines at flea markets and strategy guides toi read for fuin, and he likes to find other mediua related. He's... A little obsessive really.

Art
Eios loves art class. He likes drawing even if it's just cartoon or video game characters, and he likes making things in art class. Paint, clay, paper mache, you name it, if it's art, he's there. His fdavorite habit is... Well he plays in muid like it's clay to try making pots that his big sistyer Cherish and dad LAwrence make him put outside of the house to avoid drawing in bugs. ... Or making messes. Eos often needs new markers or colored pencils and often leaves ideas from school all around the house when he's feeling artsy. He also likes all art supplies, and likes making up animals covered in fuzzy wire, pom poms, and gflitter. So much glitter.

Pranks with Cyrus
Eos and Cyrus are almost-identivccal trins. Aside hair style and eye color, they're identical. And because they noticed adults express change blindness a lot, these two little brats lobve swapping places from time to time, or pretending there's oinly ONE boiy. They do this because strangers make them both cautious and Eos is protective of Cyrus, and vice versa. The longest effort was eight months convincing Cheriush that Cyrus didn't exist and this was just stranger danger. They also do it to help when a twin is in trouble - the other twin will usually do the puynishment, if they feel the opuynishment unfair, or both threaten to take it. Generally, if one twin is pranking, the other is heloing, readily.

Virtues:


Clever
Eos is... Reasonably clever. Reasonably. When handed a problem he usually solves it with creative methods, like working out how to get an extraq snack or who to talk to for certain answers he needs. Eos can work the sytstem to get things he wants or needs done, or to help hium help his twin brother out, and he's usually pretty happy with that. When framed to his interests, Eos can usually sort things out and learn or find soilutions to a problem as needed, which is often very, very useful.

Listens
Eos is a child. Eos knows he is a child. Thus, Eos listens to adults when they tell him what to do.... Or well, he listens to them talk. Eos listens all the time, does what he's told if he agrees, and pays mind to listen to conversations. If he's in earshot he's probably listening, though he keeps secrets froim people well. And it's not on purpose, but if it's important he'll try. Otherwise he's usually doing as told or listening to people talk when he can, making him quite good at taking directiuon and understanding context.

Friendly
Eos has social basics. Say hi, ask how you are, and if you like what he likes. He really is friendly and likes other kids! He doesn't feel harm in greeting the other kids, in trying to make friends... Or even approaching adulys from time to time, or teenagers, ETC. Eos tends to start out at least friendly to everyone, and approach with a curious smile.

Flaws:


Oblivious
Eos isn't... Dyumb... But her is... Well.... Clueless. He doesn't think of consequences, he's too goal-oriented. He doesn't always see details, he's focused on the big picture. Eos is the master of missing context clkues around him and it shows, because small child simply can not seen ti ybderstabd wgt ge beeds ti di sine things. He misses hints and clues. A detective, Eos is not, and he kind of follows his own logic for it. This means he often might not understand some things that seem common sense toi others, at ewhich point someone, usually, Cyrus, explain to him.

Impatient/i]
I WANT IT NOW! I NEED TO BE GOOD NOW!!! WHHY NOT NOW!!!??? Eos struggles badly with patience. It's not a need for instant gratification so much as uncertainty and ewaiting do not play well with him. He wants things to happen faster to accomodate him, and strugglkes understanding why they can not. Similarly, he expects himself to be amazing when he tries new things, often lacking patience to practice or improve. He already knows how, why does he need practice? Really it's annoying, given he doesn't blame people, he just becomes insufferably grumpy.

Dramatic
Eos is... A little ovber the top. And if he was good at acting, sure. But no he's a little drama king./ Fire Drills earn screams and a panic response like it's a real fire. Someone bullying him ort Ctrusd get bit because a scary animal will keep the bad at bay right? He even emulates dramatic 'good' behaviours trying to be cool. Bless him his every movement is an act and he still failed to make a school play. Most things are a very, very big deal for him, or nothing at all.

Eyes: Same eyes as Lawrence!.... Large yellow eyes. Small child has Mama Elektra's eyelashes though. Thick.

Hair: White hair. Eos' hair is as long as the toiop inch as his shoulders with bangs tucked under the sides of his hair. Sometimnes though,. he lets his dad do his hair like his. Eos' hair is usually sleek and smooth.

Face: Eos looks a biut like his Dad nostly. He has a small buttoin nose and thin looking liups but a soft face.

Skin Tone: PALE. He only goes outdoors for Cyrus.

Body Type: Tall for his age. Kind of a box.

Clothes: Jeans. Sneajkers. Bideo ghame shirts. He compromises with his Dad because if he had his way he's be cool and wear spioked bracelets like Bowser and calf boots and look like a punk but Dad absoilutely will not and Eos will not wear any plain shirts, they kind of uposet him if they're plain or patterned. He also wears a lot of dragon tees. As for accessories... A lot of video game stuff. A LOT. Or cartoons. Or cute hats. Hios sister bought a moogle hat on Etsyu once and he demanded one for himself, to give you some idea.
