Personal Raincloud (11) : It’s a beautiful, sunny day in Destiny City–for everyone but you. There’s not a cloud in the sky–except for yours. No matter where you go, a dark cloud seems to hover, casting shadows wherever you go. It’s been raining since you woke up today, and it’s like bad luck and bad weather just follows you. It’s a constant downpour, always exactly where you are. The raincloud is usually big enough to easily cover a full building, so if you stick around for too long, your misfortune will turn into someone else’s too. The raincloud might follow you for a few hours or for the whole day before slowly fading; there’s no escaping it, or the strange, somber mood that seems to follow you.
The mood surrounding him seemed a bit...Less than before and he couldn't quite pinpoint the reason why, which served to do nothing but irritate him to the point of wanting to punch air. Nothing improved the mood either. Not flirting with his classmates, talking to Ash, eating ice cream or surfing with his cousin! Emiliano sighed, sitting down on a secluded bench on the park while angrily playing a mobile game on his phone. He looked up for just a brief second to spot all the people happily playing about in the sunshine, which made him want to just fined a way to ruin things so someone could be as miserable as he was currently.
Then there was the fact that no matter what he tried, there seemed to be this ... Cloud that was following him around. He couldn't shake it, and he had to wear a jacket since it was pouring outside. "Ugh..." He moved to get up from the bench and ended up tripping over his untied sneakers that he swore he had tied just before leaving Cass and Mercy's today. "S-s**t!" Now his clothes were wet and dirty! Just what in the seven fiery hells was going on! Why did no one have rain except him?! The ******** did he do to deserve this?! Granted, he is a Negaverse agent but that shouldn't mean s**t in Destiny city, so that still didn't provide an answer to his current situation.
Could it be some sort of weird youma? No, because it would have tried to attack him by now...
After picking himself up off of the ground, he sighed and decided it would be time to just head back to his cousins. Maybe he could go play with his baby cousins and help Mercy around the house? This seemed like a great idea at the time of thinking. However, as soon as Emiliano made it back to his cousin's home, every thing that could go wrong, went wrong in the worst ways possible. Right now? He was chasing Alistair around the house, trying to get him to go down for a nap willingly while the twins were crying, Lucien was crying, and Mercy was trying to juggle cooking and being on the phone with Cass.
He eventually caught his younger cousin, but it wasn't without difficulty, a couple slaps to the face, and some hollering in his ear. "Alistair...Please....Calmati, ometto..." The four year old sniffled, then yawned, which meant he would be able to put him down for a nap and then work on grabbing on e of the twins. "Emili, you don't have to get the twins, I got them. Go chill with Lu." He smiled, but shook his head after putting Alistair down for a nap, moving to pick up Catalina who wasn't crying, but she did give him a smile.
"Well hello bella, are you in a better mood now?" the one year old reached for him, only to pull pretty hard on his hair. "Mili!" he winced, but smiled while walking into the Livingroom. "Yes, Cat. Mili~ Don't pull on my hair yeah?" Lu looked up from his show to smile at his older cousin and sister. "Emili! Lemme hold her!" He looked to Mercy for approval before giving the little boy his sister to hold. "Lulu!" Catalina proceeded to pull on his hair instead which he was actually grateful for, if only to get a small break.
It was still raining outside, but maybe if he took a nap, he would be able to feel better than how he was feeling currently. Mercy would be able to take care of the little ones, she WAS a mother after all and has been for almost six years now. Honestly, he kind of admired her. Taking care of one full fledged kid, a toddler, and two babies was a lot. But the small woman managed it with almost no issues. There are times where she looked like she was wanting to strangle someone, probably his older cousin, but that was one of the perks of being married he supposed. After his short rest, his phone pinged and he received a message from Ash which made him smile a little.
He wasn't sure where their little situationship was going, but he was looking forward to figuring out. That was a bit scary to think about, but also curious as well? Ash was funny, quirky, and spicy, but in a good way. He hoped Mercy wasn't going to try and kill him for courting her younger cousin, but even if she was, then he would take a chance and risk her wrath. Speaking of wrath, he should maybe see if he could at least gather someone from the team to see if they would be up to poking around alleyways with him for potential energy gathering victims. He was thinking Pez would be down, but maybe Taffy could come along as well just in case they would need to call on Villon for something.
And hopefully not risk annoying him since he liked to be at home more than anywhere else.
With a sigh, Emiliano got up from the couch now that Mercy was able to watch the twins and Lu, giving the small woman a kiss on the top of her head before heading to his room to do some thinking about what was going on today. The walk was short and he soon found himself on his bed looking at his phone. He was stuck on sending out a reply but once he got going, he realized too late that he had sent the text to Everest instead of Ash and that just...He held back a scream of frustration and threw his phone on the bed [gently because he didn't want to explain to Cass that his phone broke due to a bad day.], flopping back and looking out the window, spotting a small sapphire charm that he managed to pick up earlier.
Today was just not going to be his day. But that was...Okay.
Emiliano still felt a little glum and irritated but he figured it would go away eventually, he wasn't going to stress out about it or allow the feeling to ruin his life. He was young and life was too short for him to start sprouting grey hairs now.
