Personal Raincloud (11) : It’s a beautiful, sunny day in Destiny City–for everyone but you. There’s not a cloud in the sky–except for yours. No matter where you go, a dark cloud seems to hover, casting shadows wherever you go. It’s been raining since you woke up today, and it’s like bad luck and bad weather just follows you. It’s a constant downpour, always exactly where you are. The raincloud is usually big enough to easily cover a full building, so if you stick around for too long, your misfortune will turn into someone else’s too. The raincloud might follow you for a few hours or for the whole day before slowly fading; there’s no escaping it, or the strange, sombre mood that seems to follow you.

There was literally a cloud following Sabrina today, and she was both amused, and absolutely annoyed. She held an umbrella and peered over the edge of it, giving a soft, annoyed huff and shaking her head, waiting for the light to change at the crosswalk.

She knew it was following her because…well. To put it simply, there were no other clouds in the sky except this one, and no matter what she did, it didn’t go away.

Ducking into a back alley, she shook her umbrella off, glad that there was an awning covering the area so that she could just….not hold her arm up anymore. It was getting tired. Stupidly tired. And truth to tell, so was she.

Sabrina took a few steps backwards until she was against the building and rubbed at the bridge of her nose, She was nearly home. Nearly. Today had been actual s**t,and she was going to blame the cloud.

Pausing, she turned as something caught the light from one of the flood lamps, and Sabrina bent down to pick whatever it was up, it looked pretty, like a flower pin.

Of course. Just to put the icing on the cake of today, her entire outfit changed when she picked the damn thing up.

She should have known something bad would happen.
