Personality: Esme is a very knowledgeable person who loves her books and researching the natural world. She enjoys finding out as much as she can about crystals and various stones, exploring the underground when she can, while attending any lectures when possible. It makes her a bit talkative when it comes to spilling information, but for anyone seeking a wealth of knowledge then they are in the right spot save for when she tends to go overboard with all sorts of facts that may or may not correlate with the original question. She's also the type to start one project and then find herself in the middle of five different ones with how often she sees something and gets distracted, it's not uncommon to see a whirlwind of books or maps scattered across her room as she tracks down one thing and thinks of another within the same moment. Thankfully she has the energy to keep up with these flurries of thoughts, the girl never once slowing down and always seemingly having a smile on her face for others as she is always willing to spread kindness and help out in between her studies. Sometimes she will eventually crash and that will be one of the rare moments when she's not moving, the girl completely sprawled across her bed and sleeping for hours if not a whole day. Once recharged she'll just dive into things again and just keep going until another crash.

History: Esme was born to a pair of lightning earthlings who lived within the capital city of Valmon. Her father works to help gather research, giving tours of historical artifacts and the like to those interested, while her mother teaches younglings and watches over them like a daycare. As a result of her parents being very invested in teaching the girl learned at a young age to try to soak up every piece of knowledge that she could. She also gained plenty of energy working with other children as she grew up, the girl helping her mother watch over younglings as she grew older and more responsible. Part of her kept her playful habits from entertaining younglings, keeping that energy even as she turned towards more in depth studies of the world that was constantly expanding around her with the introduction of the rest of Tendaji and the Kahi. Other than that her life was fairly simple with a peaceful childhood spent helping out her parents and reading together with her father in the evenings. Now that she is getting older, almost to the age where she can confidently travel by herself in a couple more years, Esme is truly contemplating the outside world and exploring it to see what more knowledge and experiences she can gain outside of the city.
Some Notes:
-Loves collecting maps and books, including blank journals to keep notes in. Her parents give her unique leather ones with a new quill set each year for her birthday
-Fairly good at making up things as she goes, her years of playing around with other children and doing stories on the go giving her plenty of experience for ad-libbing, etc.
-Loves gemstones and all sorts of rocks/geodes
-Does have some trauma from backing up into a wall of cave crawling insects before though, bugs are the one thing to give her the jeebies.
