⸻ RULES & EXPECTATIONS ⸻
★ Welcome to The Arc Codel: The Silence Protocol. ★
To keep this story immersive, respectful, and long-lasting, here are the ground rules for participation. By joining, you agree to these expectations.
➤ 1. Respect the World, the Players, and the Arc Code
This RP explores deep themes—divinity, identity, control, rebellion. Treat fellow players with respect in and out of character. Harassment, bigotry, or bullying will not be tolerated.
If drama arises, take it to PMs or contact The Arc Code (GM). Keep things fun and cooperative for everyone.
➤ 2. Literate to Advanced Writing Style
We expect effort. Write in third-person, past tense, with a minimum of two well-structured paragraphs per post.
Grammar, tone, and clarity matter. Don’t worry about perfection—just aim to tell a compelling story.
➤ 3. Post Frequency & Activity
Try to post at least once every 7–10 days. If you need to pause, just give us a heads up—we get it, life happens.
If you ghost without notice for two weeks, your character may be written out or repurposed by The Arc Code to preserve story continuity.
➤ 4. Power Balance
This world is full of miracles—but nothing is without cost.
Overpowered characters will be asked to scale back. Think narrative balance over combat dominance. Every strength should have a consequence, weakness, or cost tied to the Arc Code.
➤ 5. Mature Themes
Edenfall is a dark, dystopian world. Themes of trauma, faith, control, and survival may appear. You must be 18+ to join.
No explicit sexual content. Fade to black when necessary. Violence and dark themes are allowed, but be respectful and content-aware.
➤ 6. Canon & World Consistency
This RP has deep lore. Please read the primers, guides, and setting details before creating your character.
Don’t introduce game-breaking elements without checking with The Arc Code. Collaborate. Build with what's already there.
➤ 7. Character Limits & Diversity
You may start with 1 character. Additional characters may be allowed later with approval.
Avoid “main character syndrome.” Let others shine. Interact across factions, and don't just stick to your own scenes.
➤ 8. The Arc Code’s Word is Final
We are here to co-create a powerful, eerie, immersive story. The Arc Code is here to guide—not control—but in disputes or questions of world logic, lore, or permissions, their word is final.
We’re not here to win.
We’re here to explore a miracle gone wrong.
