Iphito's stop had been far more exciting than she had expected! Mister Amon had been so very helpful and even given her a map to find him again. She would certainly like to travel with him a bit and learn more about the kind earthling, but was unsure if he would be around after her visit. After getting turned around and lost for a few hours Iphito had finally reached her goal. The aishan village near Azhera was different than her own where she was raised, but still just as exciting to be around. She just hoped they would be as excited to meet her as she was to see them. It took her longer than necessary to approach one of the other Sisters, her own nerves making her doubt herself once again. Finally though she wandered closer to some of the nearby homes, flustered hands waving in an attempt to get the attention of any around. "U-uhm hello! I a-am looking to v-visit. If that i-is okay?" She called out, approaching the closest of her aishan relatives.

(1/10)
In some ways, the weeks following Hesperia's return from her own self imposed pilgrimage had been... underwhelming. She believed, erroneously, that touring the world would grant her a peace she'd been yearning for, that she would return whole and satisfied. But... she wasn't sure if she was. Her home felt smaller somehow, and though she'd missed the little ones she taught and trained, something felt like it was missing.
Sighing, she hung up another set of clothes to dry. Today another elder Sister was watching the younglings, so Hesperia had opted to cleaning the home that had partly gone to rot while she and her sister traveled to the other trees. When a voice outside called out, she was a little too eager to abandon the cleaning. "Oh yes please, I'm quite ready for a distraction!" She called out her open window, bustling to the front door.
The Elidae outside was... a surprise though. Her mouth opened in surprise, and her golden eyes blinked, but then a shy, but delighted smile took over her features. "Oh! I - well I didn't realize we had a cousin visit! Hello hello - I'm Hesperia." She wiped her damp hands against her dress and pushed back her dreads from her slightly sweaty brow. "You know, I just visited Mother Esena a few months ago! Have you been to see Mother yet?"

Iphito shyly entered the home as she was beckoned, head swiveling around as she continued to take in every sight and sound that was different to what she knew. The friendly welcome by her cousin warmed her and made her excited all over again to be seeing more family. While she had enjoyed her time traveling so far, it was nice to finally speak to more of them once more. She was still a bit of an oddball, but at least the other aishans understood her a bit more. Not that it was bad to speak with those she'd met, she quite liked it and wished to continue, but not having to explain much was easier on her already fumbling words. Iphito smiled at the Vandrea and bowed before righting herself, hand slipping to her side to grab her book in order to take notes. "H-hello! I a-am Iphito!"She wrote down Hesperia's name quickly so she wouldn't forget it, jotting down a description of the woman as well. "M-mother Azerha? N-not yet. I j-just found my w-way here. M-many troubles with d-directions," Iphito admitted.

(2/10) Hesperia's home was still small, as she was an unattached and childless Vandrea. Her space was cluttered though, the dark wood interior of her home had little tokens from younglings displayed like trophies. A smaller section, now, was dedicated to trinkets from her travels; a set of empty spectacles from Yael, a tiny satchet of crystals from Jauhar, a painstakingly preserved placard of tree bark from Tale. Hesperia busied herself making some tea, but watched the other girl curiously as she scribbled in her journal. " Ah - I was lucky, my sister and I made the pilgrimage together." She was so thankful for her sister, Wangui, for sacrificing so much to run off with Hesperia's whims. " How far are you now? Is this your first tree you've visited since leaving home?"

Iphito was particularly entranced by the little trophies, eyes catching on the crystals as she inched closer to see them more clearly. Truly so many things she had never seen that made her realize her world view was very limited. Would it be better to travel to more than just the trees? Belrea had been a stop due to her getting lost, but maybe she could make her routes more intentional to explore more? "O-oh that s-sounds nice." A traveling companion would have been ideal, but having so few sisters it had not really been an option for her. "T-this is t-the first! It s-seemed the most l-logical given my path."

Right! Hesperia smiled and came to where Iphito was looking at the collection, quietly handing her a cup of tea. She cupped both hands around her own cup, inhaling the slightly fruity scent of it. She'd never been a huge fan of the taste of tea, but couldn't get enough of the different smells! " There are a lot of earthling lands between here and Aishan, and even more until you get to Elzira. That's a long way to go, by yourself!" She looked at the younger girl, quietly worried. " There are plenty of merchants who travel between Belrea and Jauhar, so it might be safer if you tagged along with one of them! Even if they ARE earthlings." She said the last bit teasingly, but ... well. Iphito was an Elidae, and while they weren't quite as reluctant as the Elaria were to travel with earthlings, there was always the chance the girl might be offended by the suggestion.

Iphito accepted the offered cup, taking a sip and smiling as it warmed her. This was nice, comfortable. She didn't have to struggle for food here or worry that someone was going to bully her for being aishan. Safety was good for the time. At the mention of her wasy to go, Iphito gave an excited nod. "I am p-planning to s-see it all!" She wasn't sure if anyone would agree to journey with her, but the thought of trying to tag along with some sort of merchant group seemed a possibility if they did not fear her. "I h-have an e-earthling friend," she paused, considering a moment. Did Mister Amon think them friends? She was unsure. "W-well he o-offered to g-go with me on the s-ship to Sauti!"

(4/10) Oh! Hesperia's smile broadened at that, and she immediately had to push down a wave of questions. She'd been lucky enough to meet some kind earthlings on her own travels, but she'd sadly had to part ways without any prolonged means of contact. " Oh that's just lovely, Iphito!" Hesperia found that she liked this girl - it wasn't often she got to make proper friends with someone she hadn't grown up knowing, or seen grow up herself! " Someday, it'll be up to us to help shape our communities. The more we can learn from the world around us, the better, don't you think? At least that's how I've come to think of it."

Iphito eagerly nodded and sipped at her tea, happy that Hesperia thought her befriending an earthling was a positive. She was unsure what her other sisters would think, if they would agree with her way of going about things. Really she was happy that she was experiencing things the others weren't. "I-yes! L-learning from others, t-teaching the younger ones that it is o-okay to venture out a-and explore! O-or befriend o-others," Iphito smiled more, pressing one hand to her cheek. "I-it is an h-honor to be able to d-do so."

(5/10) Yes, exactly! Hesperia bounced a little in place, excited to have found someone (out of nowhere, it felt like!!) who actually understood that perspective. " Do you work closely with younglings, back home?" She asked, curiosity piqued. " I volunteer to watch the little ones, who are too young to properly start training, myself - I think that's part of why I thought a pilgrimage would be so helpful."

"A-ah no. I am t-too shy, f-fumble too much....to b-be helpful," Iphito flushed, running her hands over her dreads. It had made it difficult to converse with anyone, let alone trying to speak with the younglings on things. She thought watching the little ones would be fun, but ultimately she was not so sure her forgetfulness and shyness would work out so well. It would be horrid if she forgot something important and got someone hurt. "N-no I am well, I w-wish to be a b-blacksmith, b-but not w-weapons. Jewelry," Iphito explained, feeling even more shy about her craft. They were warriors, weapon crafters, yer she could do neither.

(6/10) Hesperia tilted her head at the other girl, humming in acknowledgement. " Well, not everyone can handle lots of children. It's not for everyone." Hesperia conceded kindly. When Iphito continued though, the Vandrea gasped in delight, setting her mug down so she could look at the other woman properly again. " Jewelry? As a blacksmith? So do you intend to use metals? Oh-- I saw jewelry like that on my trip, but here I've only ever seen the usual. You know - shells, beads, woven things..." She fluttered her hands expressively, excited. " I wondered how that was possible! Would it not be too delicate for a hammer? Do you intend to use crystals and gems? That sounds magical, Iphito!"

Iphito was surprised by more questions about her craft, noting down Hesperia's questions in her notebook to ensure she remembered those types of things would be asked. "M-mostly metal. I-I do other non-metal, b-but to keep w-with customs mainly metal. I k-know the sisters would p-prefer weapons...." Iphito trailed off, looking down at her hands. She tried to follow tradition, tried to be a good sister and cousin. To be a warrior and make sure the others could rely on her, but she was just....not good at it. "I p-plan to test crystals and g-gems. See what c-can handle my hammer." She had done some tests, with things she considered harder materials, but her access to such things were a bit limited without more funds.

(7/10) Hesperia watched Iphito methodically note down the questions, her curiosity growing. But the poor girl seemed overwhelmed enough with these, and Hesperia didn't want to chase her away too quickly. Her fingers tugged a little at her skirt as she listened. " That's so impressive." Hesperia whispered, yellow eyes glittering, beaming as if she was a proud mother, and not simply a stranger listening to Iphito explain her craft. She blamed it on her role as a teacher to children; sometimes, she enthused a bit too loudly and made others her age feel she was being sarcastic, or talking down to them. Truly, she just was used to conversing with little ones these days. " I think we have plenty of blacksmiths making weapons; this? This is unique! And I know I'm not the only one who would want something beautiful to wear."

Iphito paused her hand as she heard Hesperia's response, her anxious energy turning a bit more positive and almost hopeful at her response. Most had really considered her work not useful despite their love of adornment so to hear a cousin so readily praise her for it made her warm. "I h-hope so. I just w-wish to spread j-joy and pretty t-things to everyone. M-maybe some of the e-earthlings will even wish to h-have some."The Elidae perked up more as she remembered the few things she had already made, snatching at her pack and digging through it before pulling out a small metal bracelet she had fashioned with some smaller crystals. "H-here. For you!"
