The week after the events of the Hollow were quiet. It seemed that all of Destiny was in agreement that everyone needed the time to recover. The Negaverse was silent, and Wolframite was otherwise occupied tending to Lavan. It was only after they were assured they could see again that they even dared thinking about the war and work again. The events of the Hollow had played out countless times over their mind, namely seeing the times they had done wrong by Laven to leave them alone on the battlefield. It wasn't perfect. In a fight, it was hard to see a perfect solution. A lot of things could have happened, and they didn't have future magic to see what was the best.

However, there had been something nagging at him.

A message would show up on Miyamoto's phone.

Text from Wolframite

We need to talk. Let's meet someplace on the surface. Night.

He'd gotten the message and responded back with a place and an exact time, a time when he'd have gotten out of work and had time to shower, and sent the message to his general. That whole battle still played out in his mind whenever he closed his eyes, so much had happened, he was sure it was similar for most people involved. It seemed others were as affected as he was, maybe more so, because so far when he went out to gather energy the nights were peaceful. Even if he felt a signature they didn't approach, as if no one wanted to fight, and normally he would have chased them down himself but he simply didn't have it in him.

When he'd gotten back to Destiny city he'd been in such pain that it had taken a lot to get past it, he'd have rather been back with the serpent than the pain he'd felt, but he'd managed to get past it with help. The day after hadn't been great, working with so little sleep was not the best of ideas, but he'd gotten through it. Now days later and he was relishing the cool air as he waited for Wolframite to turn up at the location he'd suggested to his general. His hands were up his sleeves, his hands folded infront of himself, as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. It was nice out tonight, pleasent really, he dreaded summer and the heat it brought with it. He much prefered the cooler months, and the rain, as opposed to the heat and the sunshine.

Wolframite had no issue finding the spot and teleported 2 blocks away. He knew the area since he would come to a corner store that was open 24-7 to get some late night snacks for the house. Maybe he could get a few things for Laven when he got back home. That should help their mood a bit.

Smoothing out his uniform, he stepped down the street and headed to the location. The energy signature was warm and familiar, and he soon saw the silhouette of the other as came closer.

"Miyamoto." He called out when he was in viewable range, and did a quick walk over to meet them. "Nice evening." Clear sky. No storms. Cool.

Quiet.

Peaceful.

"How have you been?"

The dark aura of the general approaching was soothing, calming even, it was something he would wrap himself up in if it were possible. When he spotted the approaching general he raised a hand in greeting. Waiting until the other was closer he nodded his head slowly. "It is, the weather has settled tonight and it's cool out." It wasn't warm, hadn't been really, and he was good with that. He didn't like the heat of summer, never had, fall and spring were perfect for him.

"I'm doing better now that we're no longer on the dinner menu for cosmic serpents." He was also doing better since the stress level has gone down, way down, and that meant the migranes had ceased. He didn't think he could handle more migranes, he'd had far too many since this had all started.

"You've been well? I didn't see Lavendulan after you two wandered off - how's she doing?" He assumed she had made it out well, as everyone seems to have, but not everyone was in the best of health. She was at least alive he figured.

Again, he took a deep breath and just closed his eyes, letting the sound of distant trees now flush with greenery sway in the dark. Somewhere were the distant fading sounds of city life, like a distant lone howl. But here, it was still.

"Giant Serpent was a first for me. I've seen a lot, but I had no idea we had something like that just above our heads. Just when I think I've seen it all, that I have some sense of things, something new and ridiculous comes out. I wasn't really prepared to fight a god." He said, opening his eyes to look over at Miyamoto.

"Or goddess. Never really checked." Hopefully god. He didn't want to see that thing having eggs.

"I've been okay. Laven had been dealing with the side-effects of the battle. They could only see out into some galactic void for a long time. We - we were really considering what to do if it was permanent. But, her vision had slowly returned. I can tell she's relieved, I am too. I've felt that dread before. I can fight a Giant Serpent but, well, trying to console someone who couldn't see anymore - that's when I feel hopeless." He wanted to be strong though, and had tried to be just that for Laven. Yet inwardly, he was panicking for them.

"And you. I saw you - back on the battlefield across the way. I wanted to talk to you sooner."

"Apparently it's not the only such cosmic giant out there." The idea of one day having to kill another such god, as the other put it, was brothersome but it wasn't something he'd back down from. He hadn't this time, despite the stress, and he wouldn't the next time if such a time did come again. "The cosmos is vast, assume that you've seen a lot but not even a fraction of what's out there." That was the best he could assume with everything, that he should expect everything and roll with it.

"I'm not sure I want to know, or care, what it's gender was. Or perhaps both...or neither. We are dealing with something cosmic - anything is possible." And there were, to his knowledge, a lizard species that was all female and reproduced exact copies of themselves. Earth was strange and it meant the Cosmos was worse.

"I can understand that...I think I'd be the same in that situation." Emotions were something he avoided, he didn't like dealing with them, but he could fight and he'd done well at that. The idea of potentially winding up blind, like some had, was terrifying and then worrying that it might be a permanent thing. He wouldn't have handled that well, he worked in an industry where he had to see.

"Ah, I lost track of you after a while." He'd lost track of a lot of things, and people, rather quickly. He'd been busy vomiting and trying to keep himself under contro land focused enough to not die, or in whatever that state was which mimicked death was, he'd managed well enough since he was still alive and hadn't wound up seeing some void. He could have done better, he was certain of that, but it was something.

"I hope we aren't going to have to do that over and over again. It was one thing when they came on the planet. Going out into space always feels uncomfortable. It's not just fighting something in it's own territory, but it's the figuring how to get back. I don't like the idea of being stranded with everyone without any ability to secure our way home. It just felt too much like chance that we even made it. We might not be so lucky to have something out there arranging our path back." But that was a grim thought for another day. For now, they were home again, back on solid ground.

"I have to admit that I wanted to kiss the ground once we got back." If he wasn't otherwise panicking over Laven and wanting to go straight home.

"I'm sorry for loosing you. The battle was a hard lesson in sticking with the group. I shouldn't have strayed just to fight. I think for that, a lot of you could have been seriously injured." And he regretted not having noticed sooner.

"I did - notice you. Across the way. You weren't looking great." It didn't seem like he had been injured, but instead just sick. Like someone had hit him with some kind of magic that had struck him down. While Wolframite wanted to ask if maybe a magic attack had caused it, giving that sort of out might not be best. Did fighting make the other ill? Was possible bloodshed something they couldn't handle?

"Should I know about anything?"

"If we're goinng to be doing that over, and over, again I want bonus pay for each one of them we take out." Because the amount of stress it put people under - it was not healthy. Most people couldn't handle that amount of stress, and they had all felt the stress of things, but he was more susceptible to stress and suffered more due to it. They had better pay more for each take down and the time leading up to it. "The fact there are more out there doesn't surprise me, not once we started thinking about how vast space is, and it does mean the problem will eventually come up again." The odds were not in their favor. Considering how many senshi, and knights, were born here as opposed to the rest of the cosmos? They were going to wind up with another of these beasts after them...it was just a matter of time.

"I didn't like the lack of a way home either, that we got lucky, it seems there might need to be precautions put in place for when it happens again - to ensure people get home." However far into the future it might happen again, because it certainly would happen again. "It would be a good idea to see if any information on these things, the other ones, can be found and stored someone." Thinking of helping the future officers, whoever came after them, he wasn't one to go without planning things and safety nets. He'd made sure his own corruption was as secure as could be, that his future had been safe to step into. There had to be a way to leave information behind for the future to find, and a way home provided, among other things. This had been such a rush job, at least it felt like it, and having to rush to find information and the luck of someone helping them get home? Too much chance.

"Kissing the ground wouldn't have been a bad idea, I don't think anyone would have faulted you for it." And had he not been sick, and rushing to find a bush to vomit into, he might have done similar...dirty as the ground was.

Pausing, turning his eyes onto the other, he lowered his eyes after a moment. "Only because I know I can trust you, that you won't hold it against me or keep me in the back lines." Because that was what he did not want! He didn't want to be a weakness, or to be shoved to the back and labeled a risk and unable to properly fight. He was comitted and most certainly could, and would, fight. Wolframite had seen him willing to go with a knight off a roof top, anything to deal with order.

"Migraines...loud noises, like clubs and concerts, will trigger them. So will stress..." And it hadn't exactly been quite that night, not with the battle going on, but the stress in the weeks leading up to the battle, plus the battlefield itself. "I wind up with blinding pain, vomiting, light and noise sensitivity..and I can't focus well. I took medication as everyone was gathering but it didn't help. I couldn't take anything for two hours after the first dose...so I had to wing it." He'd had to work through, and with, the pain. He'd done well enough, considering how bad it was.

"Two doctors, who are both generals, know but I've had that part of my medical file hidden. I don't trust someone not to deem me a risk...." He didn't want that, not after what he'd given up to be here.

"I would have liked more of a trophy from that fight. I only got a few scales." It was a worthwhile trinket, but he would have always liked a actual piece of hide or a tooth. Bones were always his favorite in the end.

As the tone shifted, Wolframite's ears perked as he listened to Miyamoto's health during the battle. A soft, thoughtful expression started to form on the General's face as he listened to what had happened.

"You shouldn't hide that. We should know. That way if we are thrown into a fight that has a lot of things that could harm you, we can watch out for you. This might be rude, but - other people are relying on you. If they think you have their back, and don't know that something might be causing you to be unable to help, they need to know to switch their strategies."

He moved closer to him, smiling. "But we can help if we do know. Just as I have my flaws in battle, I'd like to know yours. I'm - not good around fire. It's terrifying to me. I don't like small cells either. If I'm blinded, I don't handle it well. It's best people know I can't handle those situations if we face them. That way I can rely on others to help me to fight." It wasn't a health condition as much as it was panic attacks and PTSD. Yet, if someone relied on him to be there in a battle surrounded by fire in a warehouse, he might not be able to do anything - at least not well.

"Hmm. A large fight like that with so many people talking, magical attacks, and lightening cracking must have been debilitating. Is there anything that could help in battle? Like keeping ear plugs on your person or sunglasses?" It was clear he wanted to see if they could keep things in their pocket space on hand in case it helped out in emergencies.

"I want you to have help to keep fighting, but also to stay alive. If you had a migraine during a fight, and those senshi decided to jump on you when you couldn't strike them back, I'd want to be as close as possible to ensure they don't take advantage of that." All the more reason he had to train himself to not run off on his own during larger fights.

Leashed. He had to place a leash on those he cared about and let his youma side be less feral.

He knew others should know, that he shouldn't keep his health records looking nice and clean, but there was still that bit in the back of his mind telling him that some would see him as weaker...as a risk. That he'd be pushed to the side lines, kept out of things, and that wasn't what he was here for. He'd changed sides, given up everything, so he could fight for what side he believed in. He wouldn't handle being pushed to the back, not when he'd given up so much, and while he trusted the general infront of him that trust did not extend to most others. He didn't know them, nor did he even want to know most of the other officers, he didn't care for being social. Why let someone know he had a weakness, especially if someone might change sides and remember that bit of info.

Wolframite was honest though, which he appreciated, and his words made more than a little sense. At the others admissions, at them sharing with him, he nodded slowly and reached out to place a hand on the smaller mans shoulder. "If we ever wind up surrounded by fire I'll let you keep close to me and chill things around us. It's not much but it might help you abit." If he could feel the cold near him, the frost could touch him, it might help beat back some of the fear.

"It wasn't even just that night but the stress leading up to it. I'd been having migranes. I have medication and normally it works. I took a pill while everytone was gathering - it didn't help this time." He blamed it on too much stress, too many attacks leading up to that night, there were bound to be times when the medication wouldn't work. This was the first time it had failed him and at such a time. "I have a set up noise dampening plugs but I didn't think it prudent to use when I might need to hear orders." And if it was someone further away he was likely to miss it, it wasn't a risk he'd been willing to take. "I can try sunglasses, it helps I'm seeing a doctor...who is also a general." And they knew about his condition, he wouldn't hide it from everyone...he simply couldn't even if he had wanted to. Had he hidden it, and Lorcan found out, he knew there would be some sort of a talk between them.

Leaning down he pressed his forehead to the top of the others head, smiling. "You do just fine keeping your pack safe, as well as any general if not better. You came back at the best time for helping me, saving me from a terrible landing, and took me back under your wing. If anything you can keep two doses of my medication on you incase something happens. I can also get a second set of ear plugs as well. Sunglasses...I can try but I worry they'll get broken." And the chance of the shards winding up in his eyes, not a pleasing idea, but he could try that as well.

"I'm considering tying some other medication, a talk to have with my partner to see what he thinks." Some might cal lit a conflict of intrest he figured it different though. He had a doctor who he was dating, who cared a good deal about him, he figured they'd do a better job as a doctor for him because they were seeing each other. It also helped that they weren't the emotional sort, he didn't need that in his life, and they were just enough protective that he found it endearing rather than suffocating. He did find their reaction to that boardgame, to when he'd been attacked on his square, to be...attactive - to put it miildly.

"Two doctors, both who are generals, know and I can have them both carry medication as well." To make things a bit more safe. "And plugs for my ears."

"Stress before the fight? What has you so stressed?" He wasn't sure what was happening in Miyamoto's life outside of the Negaverse. It was mainly because Wolframite was afraid that if he asked, he'd have nothing to connect with due to his large gaps in his memories.

"If the ear plugs work, then we can do silent signals. Nothing as easy to understand as sign language in the event enemies know it. Just enough to communicate basic information. For Laven and I, we use these earrings to communicate." He said, pointing to the earring he kept permanently in one ear.

"I don't really keep much in my pack. First aid, some food and water, and some hair ties. That's about it." He said, thinking what exactly he last kept in it. "I have plenty of space. I can keep a pack for you."

He started to walk away from their point, leading them to a nearby playground framed by some trees. "I think we all have our limitations. We need to be here for one another to fill in gaps to keep us all going. I mean, I wouldn't want anyone picking me to do something too delicate." He said, raising his hands up with the long claws. "So if you wan to work on ways to rely on us, I'm all for it. Oh - uh. Do you mind if I tell Laven too as a backup?"

For a moment he stared at the other, curious. "You weren't aware of the lead up to this battle...several officers and others were brought to space - to it's original prision. There were weeks leading up to his, gathering energy, where we knew this was coming and what would happen if we lost." And the stress of gathering energy, the storms and lightining striking people in the city, and knowing if they failed everything would be destroyed had weighed heavily on him - too heavily. It had been stressful, as well as worrisome, as the idea of failure had loomed over them. Needing to hope order, and their lack of organization, could pull together and help in beating back the cosmic beast coming for them.

"An earring..." That was interesting, and he took a moment to peer over at what was in the others ear. Trailing after the other the corrupt finally came up to the others side, approaching the playground. "Mmm, we are all human after all. We have to have some limitations, there is only so much magic and chaos can do for us." He always kept some of his pills in subspace, for whenever he needed them, and having used one during the battle he'd replaced it the next day. When he focusedon subspace, on what he wanted, it was a small metal capsule with two pills inside that he withdrew. "Keep them, I'll replace them in my subspace." It was a little keyring, though no keys were attatched, as it would be harder for the capsule to escape his hold.

"Yeah, you can tell Lavendulan. I trust she won't back burner me on a battlefield." He didn't trust everyone but he would trust the two generals, he had no reason not to.

"I'm - not often connected to the other officers. I think because I live in the Negaverse, people don't often contact me. I had some vague details but -" He looked a bit embarrassed. "- I'm a bit bad at checking the ipads. It's not really easy for me to look at. I had to get one modified but, sometimes I just forget. But - it worked out." He said, waving the air to the side as if dismissing the rather big mistake of not keeping up to date on what was happening around him before a major battle. There might have been some cramming of information before the summons - but no one had to know about that.

At the offer, Wolframite took the little tube of medication and put them into his space pocket, keeping it tucked away. "Thank you. And yes, I just don't tend to want to keep things from Laven and they are often close by in big battles." Though that didn't mean he couldn't keep a secret if need be. Laven would understand they didn't need to be privy to everything.

He kind of had to smile at the old saying of "we are all human after all" but didn't point it out. Some part of him was still human. It was just muddled about with the other non-human parts. Like a marbled cake.

Now he wanted cake.

"Are there - foods that make you feel better?" He asked, a rather strange change of topic but still somewhat on theme.

"I'll keep that in mind, if anything is going on I'll make sure to let you know - personally." He stated seriously, because it wasn't good to leave a general out of things, especially one with as much experience as his general. He might be equal in rank to Wolframite but the other was his general, he bore the others mark on his neck as proof to this, whether the other knew he thought of things in such terms he didn't know. But as far as Miyamoto was concerned he belonged to the other and whatever team, or pack, they formed. Some people, if he were to tell them things simply, might assume there was something sexual to it all but there wasn't and never would be.

"I understand that's a thing partners do." He'd learned that with Kai, having let the other know about his migranes, and it was reinforced with Lorcan as the other was a doctor and had gone over his medical files and brought him up to date on things. He'd learned to keep whoever he was dating involved in things, letting them know what he was doing, it was something he was still working on. He was getting better at it, often texting or leaving notes for Lorcan, so the other knew if he was going out on a patrol and when he got home from his patrols. Communication was key, something he'd never been very good at, but it was working so far.

"Better...from a migraine or are you speaking about comfort foods?" He questioned, a curious look given to the other.
