Jake Atlas stood in the center of the ring, awaiting his opponent.
A bead of sweat dripped down his temple as he looked out at the thousands in attendance.

The arena lights dim, and a single spotlight focuses on the entrance stage as the haunting, atmospheric opening of "The Day the World Went Away" by Nine Inch Nails begins to play. A low, resonant hum fills the arena.
Elias Vance emerges from the back, his gaze intensely focused. He walks with deliberate, measured steps down the ramp to the rhythm of the building music. The crowd is a mix of intrigue and slight unease as they take in his calculated demeanor.
He stops at the apron as the main melody begins to take shape, taking a moment to adjust his wristbands, his eyes locked on Jake Atlas in the ring. A slight smirk plays on his lips – the blueprint is already being drawn.
He steps onto the apron and smoothly slides between the ropes as the intensity of the song increases, immediately surveying Jake Atlas with a calculating look. He walks to the center of the ring as the powerful chorus approaches, taking in the atmosphere, his expression serious and analytical, ready to execute his plan. The match is about to begin.

The bell rang to signal the beginning of the match, and the crowd cheered the two competitors on.
Jake looked left and right at the crowd, his debut match here in WWFG.
He then rushed at Elias, looking to catch him off-guard with a dropkick!

As Jake rushes forward, Elias's eyes narrow. He anticipates the attack, recognizing the tell in Jake's eagerness. "The Blueprint" reacts with a subtle shift of his weight and a step to his left, successfully sidestepping the incoming dropkick.
Jake Atlas sails past him, landing on the mat with a thud, the wind knocked out of him from the missed maneuver.
Seeing his opponent vulnerable, Elias seizes the opportunity. He drops down quickly, attempting to hook Jake's left leg with his own, looking to lock in a modified leg lock. His intention is clear: ground the high-flyer and begin to dissect his offense with precise technical grappling.

Jake's dropkick was easily side-stepped, and perhaps part of that was his naivety or anxiety in this big match.
As Elias went for the leg lock, however, Atlas rolled out of the way toward a turnbuckle, keeping an eye on his opponent.

Elias, finding his initial attempt to ground Jake thwarted by the quick roll towards the corner, rises back to his feet, his focused gaze never leaving his opponent. He takes a slow, deliberate step forward, his posture communicating a calm intensity. The blueprint called for an early dismantling, but Atlas has shown a surprising agility to evade the initial attack.
"Interesting," Elias might think to himself, his expression remaining stoic. He observes Jake using the turnbuckle for leverage, a slight adjustment in his own stance as he anticipates the next move from the newcomer. The match has just begun, and the strategic maneuvering has already commenced.

Jake watched as Elias turned towards him, and planned his next move.
This time he got to his feet quickly, running forward and attempting a forearm strike.

Elias watches Jake charge, his analytical mind already processing the trajectory and intended impact of the forearm. He doesn't flinch, his focus unwavering. Just as Jake gets within striking distance, Elias takes a subtle step back, creating a fraction of space. Simultaneously, he raises his leading arm, not to block directly, but to intercept Jake's forearm with a sharp, downward chop to the inside of the wrist.
The intention isn't to cause immediate, significant damage, but to disrupt Jake's momentum and momentarily weaken his striking arm. It's a calculated move, a small piece of the blueprint designed to control the exchange and remind Jake that every action will be met with a precise counter. Elias's eyes remain locked on Jake's, a silent assessment of the newcomer's resilience.

Jake's strike was swatted to the side like a fly, and he stumbled backwards a little. He hesitated this time, almost unintentionally offering an opening to his opponent.

The blueprint calls for dismantling his opponent piece by piece, and grounding him is the next logical step in the design.
