12th May 2025 - 25th May 2025
One Day Auto-Hit or Auto-Recover

The following match is scheduled for one fall!
PostPosted: Mon May 12, 2025 2:39 pm

The stage was set. The crowd buzzed with anticipation. The air inside the arena was heavier tonight—not just with energy, but with expectation. This wasn’t just another match.

This was the King of the Canvas.

A tournament of legacy. Of destiny. Of grit and greatness.

And up next—a match laced with history, respect, and explosive potential.

“Left Alone” by Zero 9:36 hits the PA system.

As the beat dropped, a roar spread through the crowd like wildfire. The lights dimmed to a deep steel blue, casting long shadows across the ramp. Fog began to rise once again from the stage, curling like memory and smoke.

Trent was back.

But this wasn’t just a comeback story anymore—it was a campaign.

Since returning from a career-threatening neck injury, he had stepped into the ring twice—and walked out with his hand raised both times. First, with Ares by his side in tag action. Then, a solo war against White Tiger at WrestleMania that reminded the world why he was called The Initiator.

And now, he stood at the threshold of something even bigger.

His music swelled—and through the mist stepped Trent, head held high, face lit with determination and excitement. The reaction from the fans was instant and electric. Signs with his name lined the barricade. Chants echoed from the upper levels to ringside. Las Vegas had his back again.

JR: "Trent's riding a wave right now—but if he wants to be King of the Canvas, he's going to have to climb a mountain in the first round. That mountain? Erynys Reich."

King: "And let’s not forget—these two used to be on the same side. There’s history. There’s respect. But none of that will matter when that bell rings."

Trent moved down the ramp, high-fiving fans on either side, his energy contagious. But his eyes told a deeper story. He wasn’t overlooking his opponent. He knew what Erynys brought to the table—power, crowd support, and a chip on his shoulder the size of a continent.

This wasn’t going to be easy. But he didn’t come back to take easy roads.

“Introducing at this time… Weighing in at 247 pounds… From St. Paul, Minnesota… He is The Initiator… TREEEEENT!”

He reached ringside, taking an extra moment to give a fan his wristband, before heading up the steel steps. A deep breath at the top, then through the ropes.

Once inside the ring, Trent circled the canvas like a general surveying the battlefield. He grabbed the top rope, pulled himself into a stretch, then stood center ring and stared down the hard cam.

No bravado. Just fire.

This tournament meant more than just glory. It was about proving he was still one of the best—that the road back was worth it.

The music faded, but the crowd stayed loud.

All that was left was the collision.

Trent vs. Erynys. Speed vs. Power. Respect meets resolve. Apex vs Apex.

Round One.
Let the war begin.

The starting of a reving motor caught the ears of the crowd before it tapered off into a wailing guitar solo. On the screen, the familiar silhouette of a man appeared and the crowd began to roar.

The screen briefly went dark before two words in red glowed on the screen.

ERYN REICH

Introducing his opponent...From Weimar Germany, weighing in at 298 lbs...Eryn Reich!"

As the music thundered through the arena, from the back of the arena, the roar of the crowd reached a deafening pitch as the man himself appeared.Dressed in black tights that ended at knee high jackboots and an unadorned hooded vest, his hands taped up in black athletic tape. He wore a half mask that covered his mouth. He slowly made his way through the crowd to his music, only stopping to hope over the barricades and into the ring.. The look on his face as the camera panned on him just showed the foul mood he was.

JR: "Look at the look on his face. You can obviously tell he is not in the most pleasant mood and given what happened to him in the past few weeks, I can't say I blame him.

King: "I dare say you're right J.R. and especially after his comments earlier that he was going to run roughshod through this tournament, I'm sure that's changed given who is his opponent is. I mean these guys were like brothers at one point.

JR "They absolutely were King. And I'm sure deep down there's still that mutual respect for each other.

He stood on the turnbuckle and peeled back his hood and mask to reveal a buzz cut haircut and a fuller goatee. He did away with his vest as he spared his opponent an icy glare. A large part of hin was happy to see him, not only just in FG, but also being able to compete after suffering such a career threatening injury.

He stepped down off the turnbuckle and stood in the center of the ring and he stuck a hand our in a token of friendship toward his former teammate and brother in arms.

The crowd had their suspicions, especially seeing the new edge that Eryn Reich has to him. But Trent knew better than that, neither man had bad blood and had nothing but respect for one another. Even an understanding of one another. That is why he would reach his hand out to shake his friends hand before the match started. Showing his respect for the man.

He gave Trent a brief smile and he nodded as his opponent returned the handshake. Despite them being on opposite sides of the board, there was still a mutual respect between them.

As the bell rang, he looked to start the match off the a traditional collar and elbow tie up.

The two would shake hands and make their way to their respective corner. Upon the bell ringing, both men had the same idea. Nearing the center and entering a test of strength. Raven definitely had an edge, but it wasn't beyond Trent to give it a good ol' college try. Looking to push his opponent back.

As the men locked up, each tried to use his strength to push the other into the far corner. Reich soon found himself unexpectedly on his back foot and quickly into the corner.

He held up his hands looking for a clean break.

The crowd were on their feet. Despite being a bit smaller than the big man, Trent found a way to muscle his way past Eryn and push him into the corner. The official would make his way between the men, signalling the need for Trent to break the hold which he would do upon the request of the official.

Upon doing so, Trent backed up. Shining a grin at his friend who may have been caught off guard by the strength that Trent had.

He gave a nod and mouthed the words "well played" and even gave him a mock clap. Trent had certainly not be resting on his laurels during his recovery and he knew that he would have his work cut out for him.

He moved out of the corner and once again looked to tie Trent up the a collar and elbow tie up, only this time he would look to use his own strength to back Trent into the corner.

Time to go two for two, Trent thought prior to Raven driving him back all the way into the corner behind Trent. He expected some strength, but the big man may have been holding back on his good ol' friend the first time. Either way, Trent raised his hands, letting the official slip between the two men to break the hold.

He slowly backed away all the whole giving Trent and the official the clean break they requested. As he backed away, the grin grew wider as he kept his hands up, waiting in anticipation for Trent's next mood.

It seems like Eryn now was wearing the s**t eating grin. Trent gave a grin back but would lock back in shortly after. Let's see how the tie breaker goes as Trent closes in.

He locked up for the third time with Trent before he would look to shift from the tie up to a side headlock and would look to use his strength to assert his dominance.

The big man showcasing his speed going into this exchange, as well as a bit of power. Muscling Trent into the side headlock, which Trent looked to get out of right away. Using all of his body weight, Trent began to push Eryn back to the ropes. And once he was there, he would attempt to press him into the ropes before sending him to the opposite side of the ring.

He felt himself being pushed back into the ropes by Trent as he tried to keep the side headlock on. As he rebounded off the ropes, he looked to lead with his shoulder and knock Trent down with a massive shoulder tackle.
