Tsisia - 1
The bangles around Tsisia's antennae felt weighted under the warm, Matori sun. Getting this far with a family this large had taken considerable effort and even now, after a full night's rest, the teen was still tired. They'd met up with her grandfathers half-way through, deciding it best to have a few extra eyes on the little ones, at least until they made it to the mainland. It hadn't been planned, at least based on Baba's reactions, but the additions hadn't been unwelcomed.
Tsisia lifted her leg and kicked a large, smooth ball across the sand. Some of her family had gone into town for supplies while the rest remained back at the little hut they'd rented. It wasn't a permanent situation; soon enough her grandfathers would be gone and they would move on to find her aunts. Until then she had them.
The Uncle and other Aunt who were basically kids themselves.
Her bangles made little clicking sounds as Tsisia chased after it, doing her best to keep her youngest brother occupied.

Tadhg - 1
"STOP CHEATING!" Tadhg ran behind Tsisia and did his best to keep up with her stride. He was a tall boy, far taller than any earthling child his age, but that didn't mean Tadhg was as big as his sister. She was agile, swerving and moving the ball around her feet with practiced ease, to the point his antennae burned.
Any time he got close she kicked it away and he grew more frustrated. "You're not playing fair! I got little legsssss!" Tadhg whined.

Sienna - 1
Unlike her siblings Sienna was more than content to sit on the low porch of the hug and bask in it's shade. She kept one leg folded underneath her while the other dipped down into the sand, the sweat on her feet making it all the easier for sand to collect on them.
Next to her in a well worn, well loved bowl was a spectacular mixture. Soaking in a concoction of salts, sugars, vinegar and root powders was fresh kelp that her father had harvested right before their trip into town. He'd told her it was best to let it sit and soak up the flavor, which mean she was on kelp guard.
"She's not cheating, Tadhg," Sienna smiled in that soft way of hers. "She's just faster." She hadn't meant for it to be condescending, but sometimes a lack of emotion connection came across that way.

Casimir really liked Belrea, and being there the last few years had been awesome! But he'd been a kid when the family left Matori and getting to return, if only for a little bit, was exciting. Getting to meet up with another side of his family he only got to see a few times was even more so. Siel was his brother, but had already been off traveling for as long as Cas could remember. He'd met up with him a few times, even before his niblings were born, and each time he'd thought Siel was super cool, friendly and happy and often trying to teach Casimir things that made his baba hiss or drag Cas over to 'watch closer'.
He was different now, his big brother, but Casimir didn't mind it. He was a cool dad, and all his niblings were fun too. Casimir had even been able to insert himself into the game without complaint, though he was having just as much trouble with Tsisia as Tadhg was.
"Gotta get used to it, little man, sisters love Cheating." Casimir said, voice bright but also conspiratorial as he jogged past, panting. Tsisia really was fast!

(1/7) Nimueh was content to sit in the shade with Sienna. Like her, he'd allowed his bare feet to bury themselves in the sand, deep enough that it started to feel cool despite the ambient heat around them. He was bent forward just a bit, elbows propped on his legs, as he watched his family play, feeling old and sentimental. Seeing his grandchildren play made him feel old - though perhaps not as much as everything that was going on with Ygraine and her family. They were tight-lipped about it, insisting they were traveling home to pay their respects to Nimueh's mothers' graves and help manage the family property, but Nim and Callum knew better than to believe it was that simple. Still, they'd let them go without argument, and now they were enjoying time with Siel and his family. " No, never LET him win, but if you don't play at his level he'll just want to give up sooner rather than later." Nimueh said, quietly so that only Sienna would hear. He shook his head with a fond chuckle then looked at her. It was nice to see a bit of a slower, softer personality flourish in their family too. So many of his children were fierce and bright and energetic - Sienna felt, in some ways, like a kindred spirit.

Tsisia - 2
Keeping ahead of Tadhg wasn't a problem as long as she kept moving. In those brief moments where she shifted the ball or tried to pull off a trick he would barrel close, hands greedily reaching for it, before she could take off again. Making sure there was enough space between her and Casimir, though, was harder. He was a lot faster on the sand than she'd thought he'd be, given his Belrean upbringing.
Her ponytail swung wide as she moved away from Cas, lungs heaving from the exertion, but a wicked grin spread out across her face. "Sisters only get called cheaters because brothers can't keep up." All she had to do was make it to a row of driftwood and she'd have a point. Two against one? Should have been a challenge, but Tsisia knew she could take them.

Tadhg - 2
The hybrid's little bun bounced along with him as he ran. He sucked in air dramatically through his nose and huffed it out his mouth in an exaggerated imitation of the training he'd got on Kiros. An Aishan's training shouldn't have been the same as playing a game with his sister, but they didn't know Tsisia!
"Sisters-" Tadhg wheezed, "-sisters-" As warm as his ears were he was glad that Cas was here. He was still getting used to them, Calli and Cas, but he liked them all the same. Normally he would have balked at the help, but someone had to take that monster down! "-suck!"

Sienna - 2
Sienna's little smile grew. "She'll never let him win. Tsisia can't stand to lose." She'd seen her sister stub up and mope after getting caught in pranks more than she'd seen her apologize for them. For all her confidence the eldest daughter lacked any sort of humility, but Sienna supposed there had to be a balance somewhere.
"I'm glad that Casimir stayed behind. Otherwise one of them would have been holding the other under the waves by now." Her tone was so soft that it may have been wistful, were it not for the topic. When she looked to her grandbaba there was a bit of mirth in her deep, green gaze. "I think the kelps ready if you want to try some. Baba said it only needed to soak long enough for Tadhg to get mad and-" As if on cue, she could hear her little brother give a frustrated shout. "-I'd say it's ready."

The statement made him think of Calli, and immediately Casimir laughed, bright and unbothered by losing to his niece. He wanted to tease Tadhg, and point out that his breaths reminded him of an earthling giving birth, but he remembered his audience and realized his hilarious joke would probably fall on deaf ears, and earn him a cuff from his ba later.
Instead, he put on a burst of speed, shins burning as his feet pumped against the sand, and rushed past his nephew to try and cut Tsisia off. She was getting closer to the goal. It took effort, but he finally got close enough to try and kick out for the ball, trying to steal it away!

(2/7) Nimueh chuckled but nodded his head. He wasn't the sort of father (or grandfather in this case) to get in the middle of a game, just to make things 'fair'. And his children all were close, or as close as their distance scattered around the world allowed them to be, with no lasting fights, so he would consider it a win. " I am as well." Nimueh agreed, though the grim look on his face said it was for a different reason. He preferred to keep his eyes Casimir, especially when they were shopping, because the boy had a horrible habit of spending all his coin at once, and often on dangerous things. Which Nimueh had long since given up trying to stop, but considering there were littler ones here he was more wary for their sake. Thankfully, Sienna offered a welcome distraction, and Nim's tension eased out in a fond laugh as he twisted toward her, smirking at her well-timed joke. " Just like his father as a boy - but he had Morain to conspire with. Tadhg hasn't been driving you too crazy has he?"" He commented, accepting an offered piece gratefully. He had never gotten the hang of cooking good things, and was glad to see his son had broken that trend in his own parenthood.

Tsisia - 3
If she'd been anyone else Tsisia might have been at a disadvantage due to her eyes. Her sclera gave away even the faintest bit of movement which should have made the hybrid an easy target. Her time spent training with Elidae, however brief, had all but snuffed that out. There were tells - little, subtle things - that could even the playing field for her, and oh, she was definitely going to use them against the boys.
She ground to a halt in the sand, her footing just sure enough to keep her upright, but not enough to stop the ball from being stolen!

Tadhg - 3
She was too close - too close! No matter his efforts Tadhg just couldn't keep up and when he saw the line coming closer he slowed, his spirits starting to dip -
- until Uncle Cas stole the ball! He stood, wide eyed and slack jawed as Tsisia tried to get it back, but for once she wasn't ahead! Cas was! "Pass it!" Tadhg cried out. "I'm closer! I can run it so you can block her!" In his mind it seemed perfect, but there were a bevy of holes. If Tsisia outran Cas just once she could sweep her brother again, but Tadhg didn't see it that way.
He saw an opportunity.

Sienna - 3
Sienna dipped a thin, shaved stick into the pot of kelp and swirled it around a bit. The seasoned kelp wrapped around it like a noodle and once it had properly clung she pulled it up, using her other hand as a cup underneath it lest the juices get on her dress. As the game commenced she snacked, offering a stick over to her grandbaba before going back for more. The brine it soaked in only served to heighten it's already rich, salty flavor. Some of her siblings couldn't stand it, but Sienna found it fascinating.
"No more than Asterix does." Sienna slurped down a bit of kelp, the tail end whipping up to slap her upper lip before disappearing. For a moment her large, green eyes blinked before crinkling with a stifled smile. "Although, he's not nearly so much a problem. Was Uncle Morain as bad as baba?"

Huh? What? HUH? Casimir had a brief existential crisis when Tsisia actually lost the ball. It skidded a few feet away and for a split second Casimir stared at it, stunned. But then Tadhg's cries snapped him from his stupor and he launched after it.
A streak of competitiveness compelled him to try to take the ball back himself, but reality sank in as his head swiveled between Tsisia and Tadhg. Casimir was much LESS athletic than Tsisia, and she'd overtake him easily. ... Not only that, if he refused to pass to Tadhg and THEN lost the ball, he had a feeling his little nephew would never let him hear the end of it.
So, in a shocking moment of maturity, Casimir kicked the ball with all his might towards the littlest hybrid - although he failed to account for how obviously he'd been looking at the boy, and NOT the goal. It would be pretty clear just where he was kicking to. "Take it home little man!" He cried out.
