Cooking: – Darby grew up in a rich family and home - that wasn’t quite that. Her Grandmother (who raised her and was the Matriarch of the family) was obsessed with “blue blood” and how they had to be better than everyone else. Their personal chef was one of of the best, but Darby always felt something was missing and found out that it was love - all the man cared about was “I work for the Boats of Boats’ Boats - I’m so good.” Maybe that was from her Grandmother’s treatment of him, but to Darby, food made with love was part of a good home and family - so to her Grandmother’s horror - she took up her own cooking lessons - off the internet at 12 years of age and loved it - and is applying now for Culinary School. She’ll cook now for anyone who needs a home or family and weekly cooks at the local homeless shelter - and cooks with love - which shows, for, many more homeless are showing up.
Cleaning – Along with the cooking problems in her childhood home, Darby also found issues with the cleaning: Her Grandmother did not treat the cleaning staff like people, nor did they care much for her family and Darby sensed this in their daily work. Darby seems to know that part of a good home is not only the proper cleaning of the home but also attention to detail in a way that lovingly cares for the people living in the home and not just the owners. Such things as child safety, teaching members to clean up after themselves, cleaning, organizing and decorating for a specific individual, to just name a few things, would have made Darby’s childhood home better (but she blames all this on her Grandmother, not the staff). So these are things that she provides in her own home, and also in the local homeless shelter, which she also helps clean and teaches the residents to clean and absolutely refuses to be paid. Many former homeless have claimed her as their inspiration, when they are recognized as moved on and independent.
Virtues: These are positive aspects about your character's personality that affect them on a daily basis, and are things your character could be praised and admired for. These traits shouldn’t be too specific or only manifest in specific situations (such as ‘likes animals’), shouldn’t be overpowered (such as ‘Perfect’), and shouldn’t be based on their physical appearance (such as ‘pretty’). Virtues are things that are directly related to how your character behaves. Traits should be balanced, so all profiles need an equal number of Virtues and Flaws and should not contradict each other.
Listening: -- Sometimes everyone just needs to be heard, just listened to, and this Darby feels is a part of having a home, a family, something she feels she never had, and she is determined that anyone one within her own home and or presence will have the need of family and home fulfilled - again needs she feel were never met in her own childhood. She is willing to sit patiently for hours even (heck, even miss class) if someone needs to talk. She does not offer advice, but does ask questions to show her interest. Many have suggested that she would make a good counselor, however she feels that being a ‘shrink’ would not encourage the feelings of hope she wishes to encourage. The only person she does not feel comfortable listening to so far is Grandmother Boats.
Critical Reasoning: -- Critical Reasoning may not always seem a trait of someone going for the Home and Family effect, but Darby knows that anyone leading a household or similar, or even anyone with their independence needs to be able to reason critically. When listening to the stories of the elderly, at the nursing home she visits every other week, or the children at the group home on opposing weeks, or the homeless at the shelter, or anyone, sometimes she needs to know when to take action for them. She then needs to know how to critically reason if their stories are lies, drunken imaginations, mental illness illusions, medication problems, children’s stories or the truth. She does this by asking critical questions about details of their stories, and thinking clearly she makes her decisions. For this, she is known for her fairness, but she will take immediate and forceful action, if she feels that it is needed and right. Of course, there are a few naysayers, but those are usually the ones whom she reasons that for whatever reason, were not telling the truth,or at least reality and their supporters.

These traits shouldn’t be too specific or only manifest in specific situations (such as ‘hates kids’), shouldn’t be based on fears (such as ‘afraid of the dark’), and shouldn’t be based on anything that manifests physically (such as ‘clumsy’). Phobias and illnesses (physical or mental) are not viable flaws. Flaws are things that are directly related to how your character behaves. Traits should be balanced, so all profiles need an equal number of Virtues and Flaws and should not contradict each other.
Workaholic: – Darby is forever busy - she of course is studying at Sovereign Heights, and has homework, her classmates made her honorary RA because she is just so good at listening; she cooks and cleans (with love) at the local homeless shelter ( and also listens to them), she does crafts with the elderly residents of the local nursing home 5 days a week, every other week (and listens to them), and she spends the afternoons of the opposing weeks having board game time with the children of the group home (and listens to them), oh and a group of people just asked her to become a superhero and save the world - when does she ever have time for herself? There is always someone who needs help and in her mind, they are more important than she is. Therefore sometimes she can get exhausted, mentally and physically and once in a while, she can get a little grumpy, and her naysayers focus on those times, but those that she helps, speak her praise.
Tenacious: -- Darby has grown up watching her Grandmother bully and belittle the servants. When she was 15, she sued for emancipation and moved out to take care of herself. When she did, she swore to herself, she would not let that happen again under her own watch. Unfortunately, she takes it too far, getting into trouble herself (which she does not care about) and sometimes even keeps the ‘victim’ from being able to take care of it themselves. These actions really bother, even annoy people - even the ‘victims’ and they are also naysayers.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Hair and eye colors cannot change from civilian to powered form, nor can tattoos or piercings. If your character has a tattoo as a civilian it will appear on the powered art, though will have a glamour to prevent people who have seen both from identifying civilian identities. Hairstyles can change between civilian and powered form; only Corrupted Senshi have vastly different hair between civilian and powered forms (their hair grows extensively in length!) Unnatural hair and eye color are perfectly fine, and there is no need to say they use hair dye or wear contacts - your character is free to have been born with blue hair if you want. Genetic heterochromia is allowed, but please consider that this is still considered an oddity in our game environment; you are free to play with it but we encourage players to be considerate of this fact! If your character is intended to have different colored eyes due to injury, please make sure you have done adequate research and include relevant information when you post a quest, or PM the shop mule, The Space Cauldron, for help! Because civilian art isn’t required for play, this part of the form will be helpful in making sure others know how your character appears if you don’t yet have art for them. Please make sure you are describing your character's civilian appearance! If they are an alien (such as a Vanguardian or Deep Space Senshi) or a youma/half youma, the below information should only describe them as they appear while in their 'human glamour'. You can describe their true, unglamoured appearance in the appropriate powered section of their quest!

Sailor Patientia extends her hands in a triangular shaped form (or “Campfire” form) towards the target and a dark crimson, ethereal light shines on the target, bathing them in a feeling of belonging and warmth for a few seconds, before clenching her fist as though around it and ‘snatching the feeling away.’ The target feels a violent sensation and it seems as though the feeling of belonging and warmth is violently ripped away, leaving the target off balance and melancholy sets in for a few moments. Some targets may even react further (at the discretion of the player). Lasts for 25 seconds, has a range of 10 feet, 1 target, and 3 uses. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Abandonment of the Hearth The hearth symbolizes warmth, home, family, and community. Sailor Patientia extends her hands in a rectangular shaped form (or “Hearth” form) towards the target and a dark crimson, ethereal light shines on the target, bathing them in a feeling of great belonging and warmth for a few seconds, before clenching her fist as though around it and ‘snatching the feeling away.’ The target feels a violent sensation and it seems as though the feeling of belonging and warmth is violently ripped away, leaving the target greatly off balance and dark melancholy sets in for a few seconds. Some targets may even react further (at the discretion of the player). Lasts for 30 seconds, has a range of 15 feet, 2 targets, and 2 uses. Eternal Sailor Attack: Forgotten Hearth The hearth symbolizes warmth, home, family, and community. Sailor Patientia extends her hands in the shape of a pentagon shaped form (or “Home” form) towards the target(s) and a dark crimson, ethereal light shines on the target(s), bathing them in feelings of massive belonging and warmth for some time, before clenching her fist as though around it and ‘snatching the feeling away.’ The target(s) feel a violent sensation and it seems as though the feeling of belonging and warmth is violently ripped away, leaving the target(s) greatly off balance (and deep melancholy sets in), for a couple of seconds. Some target(s) may even react further (at the discretion of the player(s) ) for 35 seconds within 20 feet, has a limit of 3 targets and 1 use.
