Checking his tablet for any updates, Okenite was still hesitantly getting used to the slow return of a normal weather pattern in the city again after what had been going on. While he was still getting the hang of things, he disliked how close he had to get to people to drain them. One of the few plus sides he had, at least, from what he could tell, was that the fact his weapon was a briefcase made it easier to say he was just a businessman from out of town and asking for directions. Always polite and shaking people's hands, he would drain a little bit at a time. It wasn't much different than how he had to keep up with his polite demeanour in front of students as well as the department head. Keeping his head down and focusing on work, he slowly wandered towards a bus stop where someone had fallen asleep on the bench in the glass little structure that kept the rain off of people. Sitting down next to them, while trying to wake them, he rested his briefcase on his lap as he reached over slyly and tried to drain a little off of the snoring man. It took a lot of focus, something he found slightly frustrating, but a job well done required time and practice.

Aruna felt the uncomfortable prickle of chaos before she even saw him. When her eyes landed on the agent, she scowled. If she attacked now, she risked catching the civilian in her attack. If she made her presence known, however, she risked the agent fleeing. Acting on impulse, Aruna circled just far enough that her attack should clip the agent and not the civilian. Hopefully. Normally, she would have more care in regards to the safety of a civilian. But also, she normally wouldn't be dealing with endless nightmares stopping her from sleeping either. Scowling, her foot hit the ground hard and a wave of magical rocks and debris bombarded the poor, unsuspecting agent. Quote: Base Attack: Rocky Sweep!Aruna stomps her foot and the ground beneath her targets becomes unsteady, as if it were eroding and they were trying to balance on sand. For the duration of her magic, targets will be pelted by a small, ethereal stream of baseball size rocks and debris sweeping towards them. The magical landslide can cause the sensation of mild bruises or scratches and targets will feel unsteady and have difficulties finding their footing. This attack has a distance of 15 feet in a cone in front of her and can be used three times per transformation. Terrain change lasts 30 seconds. The effects of the magic will fade when the magic ends, but players can choose to take lasting or more severe damage.

At first, things seemed to be going okay, but then someone started to get close. They didn't feel like Lavendulan, nor did they look like any agent, but what she'd told him came to mind. It wasn't as hard to pick that feeling they gave out, and he wondered if this was a senshi from order that he'd been warned about. He'd started standing up to try and move away from the sleeping civilian, but when his feet hit the ground, he found it unstable and staggered slightly. That didn't bode well... It meant he couldn't just make a break for it without potentially falling on his face, and that senshi would probably be on him. Laven had told him the senshi were dangerous, and he didn't doubt what his friend and general had said. Holding his briefcase up, trying to stop the rocks that were pelting him, he took a few steps away from the bus stop and a bit further from the senshi in hopes that it might get him to more stable ground. It wasn't easy, though, and he took a peek from behind his briefcase at the woman. They were rather rude, interrupting his job when he wasn't even hurting anyone. "Stop that," he called out, trying not to let it sound like a whine as a rock hit him square in the face once he'd moved his briefcase. Thinking on it, as he felt its weight in his hand. He figured if they weren't going to listen to him, then maybe he could distract them. Raising an arm up to keep more rocks out of his face, he threw the briefcase at them once he made sure it was locked. It wasn't terribly heavy, but he figured it would shock them enough to give him the chance to run. He'd have to talk to Laven about this because he wasn't exactly sure he liked this part of the job.

"I'll stop attacking when people like you stop preying on innocent civilians." The deep scowl that remained in place on Aruna's face said that she was absolutely not here for the agent's whining nonsense. Something inside the usually meek, quiet senshi had seemed to have broken loose and begun simmering within her. A deep discontentment for chaos, perhaps, or maybe it was something even deeper than that. Whatever it was, she felt far more driven lately. Far more reckless. Taking far more chances than she normally would. From an objective standpoint, for anyone who knew her, this should certainly raise red flags and set off alarm bells. But for the poor agent before her, he had no idea that he was facing someone who was quickly spiraling into becoming unstable. Raising her arm to defend herself against the briefcase that had been flung at her, Aruna smacked it out of the way and outright glared. Anger flared beneath the surface and her face felt hot. It wasn't something she was accustomed to feeling, especially in the midst of a fight, but she used it to fuel her and move her forward, launching another attack. "Raging Slide!" Her heeled boot slammed down hard and another onslaught of magical rocks came rushing towards him, this time larger and stronger than the last. Quote: Super Attack: Raging Slide!Aruna stomps her foot and the ground beneath her targets becomes slick with wet, tightly packed dirt. An ethereal landslide mixed with debris, twigs, and rocks sweeps towards targets, causing the sensation of moderate bruises or scratches and very tricky footing. This attack has a distance of 15 feet and has two uses per transformation. Terrain change lasts 20 seconds. The effects of the magic will fade when the magic ends, but players can choose to take lasting or more severe damage.

Okenite didn't need to be told twice, but as he tried to run, he felt an even harsher and stronger force of things pummeling him as he held his arms over his head to keep from getting a concussion. For more than a few moments, it felt like he was running in space as he frantically tried getting further away. Sliding and ending up down on a knee, he looked back at the woman and felt a chill from their glare. Nope, not something he wanted to deal with, and he scrambled more until he was able to kick off the ground and get away. He had his briefcase again,n but also had mud and twigs stuck all in his hair. Home sounded like a good idea, then he would talk to Lavendulan on what to do because this wasn't what he had been expecting when he'd accepted the job offer.

Aruna nearly started to chase after the agent on reflex, angry that he wouldn't face her, angry that she couldn't take him down on her own. Just plain angry. It was one thing for them to attack and prey upon regular civilians, but to go after someone who was unconscious already made her feel sick, made her stomach turn in the worst of ways. "Coward!" She spat the word after the agent, feeling nothing but contempt and disgust for him. Once he was gone from the area, she sighed and shook her head before coming to check on the civilian. Aside from being thoroughly out cold, they seemed, much to Aruna's relief, to be fine. Her shoulders relaxed just a bit more and another deep, heavy sigh escaped her. Was this really how the Negaverse operated? Was that seriously something they were okay with? Attacking people literally in their sleep? It felt wrong. So much more so than anything else she knew about them, somehow. Giving the victim one last look over to make sure he was fine, Aruna glared off into the distance where the agent had taken off to. Next time she saw him, he wasn't going to get away so easily.
