Uncle Seamus had treated the group to dinner after they had faced off against Alice's parents. She was more than her normal jovial self; in fact, she seemed to be shining all the brighter since the showdown. The weight that had been sitting on her chest was finally gone. She didn't have to hide herself anymore. Alice could enjoy her breaks without having to pretend to be a boy anymore. She was finally free. After they had finished eating, Seamus had gotten Lyric and Luna home, but Alice wanted to bring Sebby back with her so that he could see her bedroom as well. The three of them apparated into the living room of the O'Kerry family home and took a moment to get oriented. Aunt Erin and Genie appeared from the back and smiled when they saw the group. "Alice, mon ami how vas ze encounter?" Genie asked, looking to her cousin. Alice nodded a little then let out a sigh before she spoke. "It went... about as well as expected. Except that... Brian tripped over himself and peed a little." She started to laugh again. They'd laughed about that at the restaurant and she wanted to share the humor again. To think she'd been terrified of that man all her life... "Come sweetheart, do you want to see your room?" Aunt Erin asked.

Alice excitedly nodded her head and took Seb's hand in hers. Erin and Genie led the way to the room that had her name surrounded by flowers painted on it. They stepped to the side and allowed her to open the door. The walls had been painted a baby blue, which happened to be Alice's favorite color, and there was a bedspread to match it. They'd also set up an owl's perch beside one of the windows and Skye was currently happily perched upon it. She had a dresser, a desk, and two bookcases in the room as well. Despite her being an older teen, there was a night light plugged in by the bed and Alice giggled a little. "You remembered," she said with a grin when she spotted the light. She was still very afraid of the dark despite being sixteen now. Alice hugged her cousin and aunt, then said, "It's perfect! I love it!" Alice turned and hugged her uncle as well. "Thank you. Thank you all so much!" Turning to Seb, she grabbed his hand and tugged him into the room.

The O'Kerry family was having a big Christmas party to celebrate the holiday and Alice was more than excited to be attending this year. Of course she was working in the kitchen to prepare for the party. Aunt Erin, Juliette, and Aina were working in the kitchen with her to prepare not only dinner for all the attendees, but also dozens of baked treats for the family. Uncle Seamus was leading the decorating squad, with Genevieve and Cormac helping inside, while Cathal, Quinn, and Freya worked on decorated the outside of the house for the party. Alice was placed in charge of the kitchen, rather than Aunt Erin, since she had proven herself to be quite the adept chef and baker. The blonde hustled around the kitchen, coordinating all the dishes while working on several of her own. Checking her watch, she huffed and tapped it several times, each time getting more flustered when it seemed to not be working correctly. But the blonde was still effective at time management herself. They still had lots to do, but Alice was on top of everything. She headed into the living room to make sure that they were setting up the buffet table correctly. After a quick discussion with Uncle Seamus, who insisted he knew how to set up sternos correctly and this wasn't his first rodeo.

Checking her watch again, she nodded. It was almost time for the part guests to start arriving and she wasn't dressed yet. Popping into the kitchen, she checked to make sure that both Aunt Erin and Juliette were already dressed for the party. Then she hustled to her room and quickly changed into the outfit she had planned to wear for the party. She also checked that her gifts for Sebby were prepared and that the one public gift was already wrapped. Adjusting her Christmas themed shawl, she stepped into her heels and twirled in front of the mirror. Hopefully Sebby didn't ask her to dance, since she was still pretty uncoordinated in her heels. But she was convinced that she looked good. Alice quickly touched up her makeup, making absolutely sure than she looked stunning. Then she scooted out back to the kitchen to double double check that everything was prepared. Aunt Erin shooed her out to go wait for the guests, especially since Sebby and Momma Kinzlie would be arriving before anyone else. They'd told them a slightly earlier time so Alice would get a few moments alone with her boyfriend.

Alice was doing her best to patiently wait for Sebastian and Momma Kinzlie to arrive, but she was so full of excitement that she couldn't wait. Looking down at her watch, she scoffed and tapped it again. Darn thing wasn't working right, even after she'd replaced the battery in it. She considered taking it to a watch store to see if it needed repairs, but that would be so expensive for an eleven year old Cassio watch. She'd understand repairs if it was a Rolex, but no... She was so distracted by the watch that she almost didn't notice the fireplace activating. "Oh, they're arriving!" she squealed in excitement. Forget about the watch for now, Alice jumped to her feet to greet her guests. Momma Kinzlie came through the fireplace first, then walked over to give Alice a kiss on her cheeks. Alice grinned widely and responded, "Hey Momma Kinzlie!" She threw her arms around the woman, then added, "You're so beautiful!" The fireplace lit up again and Alice looked over to see Sebby stepping out.

Letting out a big gasp, Alice ran to him as he moved towards her, practically jumping into his arms. "Oh my gosh Sebby!" Alice squealed, then he spun and smooched her. She rolled up to her tippy toes to kiss him back. "Oh my gosh, you look so handsome Sebby!" Wrapping her arms around his waist, she laid her head against his and proclaimed, "Now we have the same hair color! For a little while at least." She giggled a little after that, since she knew as soon as the party was over and Sebby was back at home, he was most certainly going to dye his hair again. "I'm gonna borrow Sebby real quick, Momma Kinzlie." She entwined her fingers in his and pulled him towards her bedroom. There was a gift for him there and she wanted to present it to him in private.

When Sebby asked if she was bringing him to her bedroom for a romp, blue eyes went wide and a blush scrawled onto her cheeks. "Sebastian! Cheeky," she said, bumping into him and grinning up at him. "Not with my whole family here. But maybe later," she said in a hushed tone before she pushed open the door to her bedroom. Tugging him inside, she shut the door and led him over to the bed. "There was something I wanted to give to you in private. Bub bub, no jokes you," she said, giving him a silly grin. "Sit here." She skipped over to her desk and opened the top drawer, taking out a small box. Then she whirled around and smiled at Sebastian. "Sebby... Sebastian, I've loved you since the day we met, even though I was kinda scared of everything. And, well, this is a family heirloom. Uncle Seamus said it was intended for my cousin Cathal, but he never had an interest in relationships. So Uncle Seamus passed it on to me. It's very important to my family and me and so are you. So I, uh... I wanted to give it to you."

Opening the box, she pulled out a Claddagh ring with an emerald in the center. "It's a claddagh ring. It symbolizes love and, well, you're my love. Here, give my your right hand." Once he did, she dropped to her knees and slipped the ring onto his finger with the heart facing inward. "The heart faces inward to signify you're in a relationship, then when we get engaged, you'd wear it on your left hand facing outward. There's a lot of guidelines to this, but I researched them all." Looking up at him, her big blue eyes sparkled at him and she smiled widely, happy to proclaim her love for him. Sebby had made her life possible and had been with her through everything so naturally she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

Alice grinned a little when Sebby said that he'd been researching claddagh rings and had been planned on getting her one before she gave him one. He was always so sweet, even when she was grumpy, like during O.W.L. study time... The blonde giggled when she was pulled to her feet, wrapped in a hug, then covered with kisses. She responded in kind, then nuzzled her head into his chest. A blush colored her cheeks when he said he'd love and cherish the ring like he loved and cherished her. Then another giggle escaped her when he seemed confused that the ring fit his finger perfectly. "I may have had an accomplice figure out your ring size for me so that I could make sure it fit. Momma Kinzlie helped me there." She'd visited a few days prior when Seb was otherwise occupied and asked for Momma Kinzlie's assistance. Of course the woman was happy to oblige and she had easily answered Alice's question. Then it was a simple matter of some minor transfiguration on the ring to expand it a little bit. "We prolly ought to head back to the party. The rest of the guests should be arriving soon. Mrs Nora is going to be coming with Aeron too!" Alice was happy that Uncle Seamus and Aunt Erin agreed to invite them along. She knew that Seamus and Nora had become good friends during the... everything involving her gender transition, so she was naturally on the guest list.

A giggle escaped from Alice when Seb said he'd suspecting Momma Kinzlie of being sneaking, then she wrinkled her nose at him. She smiled when he looked at the ring and grinned. There was going to be a day, maybe sometime soon, that he was going to put a ring on her finger too and Alice was excited for that day. Sebby then asked if they were doing gifts at a specific time before he claimed her hand and led her back out to the living room where folks were gathering. Alice waved at Mrs Nora before Seb led her over to Momma Kinzlie. He pulled out two gifts, handing her one wrapped in snowflake paper, telling her this was the first one she needed to open. Giggling, she got her nail under the paper and opened it, looking at the gift inside. Sebby explained that it was a book nook. She'd seen some on social media, but Seb said this one in particular was a portal to Wonderland. Alice squealed and said, "Oh Sebby! I love it!" She gave her boyfriend a big kiss, smiling happily. He was cradling the other gift close to his chest and Alice grinned, excited to see what else he'd gotten her.
