It was only when a whispering of debris and a coming storm moved through her group that she started to worry if it might be effecting where Caelyna was stationed. No sooner had she decided to go ask her overseer did they bring up the notion of grouping up with those stationed on Earth. They went on and on over the risks and time frames for resupplies and the fact she might not be able to make it home for a long while but the words sounded muddled as she vibrated with excitement over the idea of being reunited with her friend and getting to do something new that might make a difference.
"Of course, I understand the risks but I trust Lyndin as well as the others that are there on Earth. It would be better to group up if something is going on that might make it hard for us to get back. I want to avoid taking that risk."
It was a start as she tried not to show how much excitement she had over going to Earth. It wasn't like her to worry over the risks; she always trusted those around her to lead her the right way, and ever since Caelyna had left, she'd been working hard but without the same enthusiasm she'd had before.
The meetup with Lyndin had her schooling her expression; this was important, and she needed to make sure things started off well, considering what she'd heard about how different things were on the planet. It would always be different seeing it and experiencing it first hand though. The danger could be felt in the air as she showed up to meet with them, purple lightning crackling through the dark clouds at night.
