Using his feet in a fight was not the easiest thing for the corrupt, his hair got in the way often times, but that didn't mean he was weak or that he wouldn't use his feet to kick someone. Since this was training he'd come prepared for it, his hair was pinned up with nearly a dozen hair pins, his hair would make a geisha jealous and Miyamoto didn't even think much on it as he was rather busy kicking at the others side. They'd been training for a while now, Katya had arranged it, her thought was that these new recruits needed to learn to overcome the magic a senshi could use...to power through it. In some cases that was impossible, he well knew that, but he also knew it could be avoided, stepped out of, or simple accepted and tolerated such as his own magic.

He'd tried it already on the other, going with his basic and even super magic, he hadn't touched the eternal magic he posessed nor the extra bit he had. It wasn't needed when he was just helping someone learn how to deal with magical attacks, how to over come them, he wasn't looking to overwhelm someone with his magic and the feelings it caused.

Another flash of lightining and he paused, stepping back, as he shook his head. It wasn't getting worse but it also wasn't getting much better. He knew what was coming, they all did by now, and he could only hope they'd be ready for it - they had to be. He'd struggled to hard to get where he wa sin life and he wans't losing now, not to some space monster especially.

Wadeite did his best to block the kick, taking the hit on his arm rather than his more sensitive rib cage, and returned the favor with a strike into the senshi’s thigh. He would have preferred a closer punch or even a leg grapple and mimed knee strike. He definitely wasn’t about to actively damage his opponent’s knee that way. Katya had done him a solid and set up this training so the least he could do was not play real dirty. He would save the nastier tricks for ‘real’ fights. It was bad enough he had to weather the corrupt’s, Miyamoto’s, magic. It wasn’t exactly something he enjoyed, that was for sure.

The lighting lit up the space and taking the offered pause, Wadeite was a bit more out of breath then he would admit, the Lieutenant glanced up at the sky. How much time did they still have? Would they make it in time? What would happen if they didn’t?

His thoughts were interrupted by the chirping of his phone alarm. He had set it prior to them starting to train since he also needed to do his damnedest to hit, or exceed, the larger quota that had been sent down. All in an effort to bolster the planet’s defense against the coming danger. “Do you want to continue or should we call it a night?” He glanced over at Miyamoto. Since this really had been a favor for him, Wade didn’t want to just dip out even if he still needed to hit his quota for the night. It just meant he would be skimping on his sleep.

Distracted by the lightening he felt the hit to his leg, and the buckling of his leg as he stumbled back. Taking a knee the long haired senshi was slow in climbing back to both feet, frost gathering around him and chilling the air, he glanced over to the other for a moment. They were new, very new, from what Katya had said and they were already being thrown into something this big. It would have been better if they'd been worked into this sort of thing, as if such things could be planned, but it would have been better if he'd started with some skirmishes with order than bigger ones...than this.

The alarm going off broke off his train of thought, because this was something that hung over them all and seeing a lieutenant faced with it...it was a lot for anyone. "We can gather some energy, we both a ve large quotas to make. it'll be safer if we're out together, no doubt order will be out tonioght as well. We might have to work together but I doubt they'll approve of our methods." And that could lead to fights potentially. He'd told Katya he'd train the other and keep them safe, this was part of that, he'd make sure they didn't have any bad run in's tonight.

"At least you got to see what magic can do...the sort that doesn't do physical damage or pain. Not every senshi's magic is attack magic." Some, a lot, was deffensive, buffs and debuffs and such. "One senshi, a princess, can shake some of my magic. She's been hit with it before. She can handle it now." And he did not like that, not one bit, but it didn't mean he would still use his magic on her if he ever needed to. Even if she only paused, in order to push past his magic, he would take the opening.

"Lead the way." Motioning for the lower ranked officer to indeed lead the way, to decide where they'd go to gather tonight. They had a lot of options close at hand.

Wade absently rubbed his arm where the kick had landed, it smarted that was for sure. He was fairly certain that he would have a bruise by the next day. Nothing all that surprising for him really but still. It hurt his pride that he had not only been subjected to magic, something he had no real control over, and got his a** kicked. Even if he got in a few licks of his own.

“Yeah, sure.” He started to head out, absently wondering out loud, “Is there any way to tell who has what? Like how poison dart frogs are brightly colored because they are deadly? Any rhyme or reason for senshi magic?” He didn’t actually know who or what handed out the magical BS but if Mara’s outfit is any indication then his color idea might have some valid points. Her magic sucked a**…. When it worked.

It wasn’t until they were well on their way that Wade paused for a second to eye his companion over. “Hmmm. We might need to adjust my typical MO since your outfit would stand out in a bar.” He had taken to ditching his hat and tie before strolling into a bar to nurse a beer or two while covertly gathering as much energy as he could. “Unless you have a particular way of hitting your quota, it might be best if I act as the front-man and distract people so you can drain them.” He was just going to have to be careful since he was an engaged man, he wasn’t going to cheat but no point in making Abby jealous. “That work for you, or do you have a better idea?”

Following at the others side he glanced over to the other. "Yes, and no. That is a rather difficult question. If you know a senshi's sphere, such as my own being tsurara-onna, than you can guess the magic provided it is something you know about. Not many know what a tsurara-onna is...so my magic might be harder to figure. If it is something like...spiders than it may be easier. Assume poision or perhaps something sticky which keeps you from moving or slows you down. A sphere is a hint at the magic but that sphere can often be interpreted in more than one way. If you get something difficult, again like my own sphere, you'd have to research it and figure what path it might go. But, and this is the problem in it all, you would need a senshi to tell you their sphere...I doubt most will. I don't go announcing my own sphere." Not to cover it up, to hide what his magic did, but because none had asked and he simply didn't care.

"Also, sometimes uniforms may give it away...with a sphere like spiders they may have webs or spiders decorating their uniform. For me it's harder to guess in that way." But it did work in some cases, or at least gave ideas. "Some though...you could see an apple on there uniform and the theme be fairytales as well...so sometimes out of the box thinking helps as well." An easy question from the other but a complicated answer, he almost felt bad, but he did his best in answering it as well as he could. He would even say his uniform made things harder, just a bit, to those who knew. His uniform was based in Chinese fanshion of ancient times...but his sphere was based on Japanese myths. He was certain it threw people off, or if it hadn't than it would one night.

"Whatever works best. I tend to grab drunks coming out of bars, as they pass by an alleyway. Or I'll wander the back alleys and go for the homeless. My uniform does stand out.. In the winter I can wear a coat over it...but it's impossible to cover otherwise." And at least in the winter even his hair could, if he tried, be kept back and hidden away. Pinning it, as he did at times like now, drew attention as well. Speaking of that...he went and started removing the pins and sending them to subspace. Slowly, bit by bit, the dark silky hair fell down and trailed the ground leaving a frosty trail as he moved.

"I don't need to touch someone to drain them...I have to be close but not as close as you do - the perks of being eternal. You'll get there soon, I'm certain, I doubt you're fiance or family will let you fall behind." He was proud to know his own partner was a General now, better able to handle himself and safer if you asked him.

Wade took it all in, silently surprised at just how much info dumping the corrupt senshi just provided. He was definitely nothing like Mara or Meinel. Not that he ever expected the ice princess that was Mara to do more than look down her nose at him and sniff dismissively. “Cool. I’ll have to keep that in mind.”

After a moment, and taking in Miyamoto’s typical MO, as the corrupt divested himself of the pins holding the mass of hair up, Wade made a suggestion. “How about I find the drunks and kind of lead them to you? That way I can do the close up draining while you have the distance skill. Which I am looking forward to. It will absolutely help hit the quota.” There was a bar nearby that was a common haunt for lowly businessmen who frequented the strip club a block over. “Want to give that a shot?” He was really only asking out of courtesy since there wasn’t a better option. Not unless they wanted to go after the homeless, which Wade would prefer to avoid. They tended to smell like the trash they typically reside beside.

"That'll make them easier to guide out to me, if you've done some draining first." He'd try and keep them consious, and well enough to find their way home, since energy was easier to come by right now and better it was more likely - good for the drunks tonight.

Normally he didn't speak so much, it wasn't his thing, but he also wasn't one who would leave an officer lacking in information. He just wasn't going to form his own team...just help others who had teams, he wasn't social enough for a team, but he was skilled and did want a well informed Negaverse. He made a good assistant to someone who had a team, simple as that really.

"I like the idea. Till you can drain without touching it's best to go for people who aren't...dirty or sick. It wouldn't be good to catch a cold from them." He was litterally talking about sick people, those with the flu and such, as they'd make good targets really. But touching them meant being close enough to get sick, even though he was certain Lorcan would say being close enough to drain someone meant you'd catch what they had anyway, he figured some distance lessened the chances.

"Homeless are good to get when they are all bunked down for the night and sleeping..no one wakes up and no one trying to fight you. No violence." Because some could, and would, get violent no matter what if they woke up to someone over them.

"The bar idea is perfect for the two of us." Till the other gained in rank, than plans could change and more options would be avalible.

Even though he was aware that his current companion was not only doing him a favor but was also someone who had been in this fight longer then he was, Wade took control of their current situation. Easily falling into his default thought process of planning everything out. He was the one typically in charge so why would this be any different? Especially since Miyamoto didn’t really strike him as caring all that much. “Alright, let's get this show on the road then,” with a grin he practically pushed the corrupt senshi into hurrying his steps. Soon leaving him to his own devices in the alley between the two blocks to wait in ambush, and making his way into their target for the night. He quickly adopted the act of being slightly sloshed but still down for more drinks even as he stepped into the bar, his hat tucked away and tie askew he looked like any other businessman in there, if in a slightly better cut of a suit.

After a glass of whiskey, and less time then it probably should have, Wade was serenading the street with his ‘I’m shitfaced’ singing while tugging along two new buddies. All three heading towards the stripclub, and passing the alley where Miyamoto was laying in wait. He silently hoped he hadn’t left the senshi alone for too long even as he minutely drained the two men. Trying to keep it as light as possible until they reached the darkness by the alleyway, at which point he broke away and stumbled towards the shadows, calling back, “This way! It’s a shortcut!”

While he certainly out ranked the other he let them take charge, since they'd be luring people out here to be drained. It was also in some peoples nature to take charge when working with others, he was more the sort to do his own thing and if people followed so be it, he wasn't the biggest team player unless it was the best idea avalible.

Waiting in the shadows as best he could, ignoring how long the wait was, he finally lunged out of the darkness when Wadeite brought two people back. Grabbing one tightly and pulling them to himself he went for draining them, he didn't go for starseeds with civilians, and took what he'd need for energy. He didn't need to touch people to grab it, not any more, but it was easier so they couldn't fight him.

"Get them and once unconsious we'll leave them by the back entrence to a bar I saw." It was a partically open door way where they'd be kept warm and someone would find them soon enough, and call for help.

That said he went back to what he was doing until it was time to drag an unconsious person down the back alley to the open doorway where he left them. Watching as the other did the same soon after. Now to repeat the process.
