This is a discord transcript between Aukai Oceansoul and SwordOfTheDarkOnes
Myridia 1
The female hummed softly as she set the bags down from her latest marketplace run. She mentally went over all her check list.
"Roots, beets, leeks, radishes..." she muttered as she put each item away. "Rice, flour, yeast." she hummed as she heard the felines skitter around. "You better be on pest control..."
She heard the pair slow in their run. The tell-tale sounds of the twin felines slowing to switch their tactics made her chuckle.

Ai’iandaroch 1 He smirked as he strode through the door narrowly avoiding the felids. “Good timing on that.” He chuckled. He helped unload the fresh produce and wash it then squirrel it away. They made steady work of their day to days, they ran a bustling trade between one Inn and the next, where they were at depended on the season and whike it perplexed locals sometimes they wouldn’t have it any other way. They ran it the same way nearly in both places with some added culture sprinkled in. They made bank but they worked for it. Now however he was more focused on family while he worked.
“Saras is okay I looked in on her when we got here.” His daughter was a trooper. “Good price on leeks for once, the greensvedor can be tricky.” He thought he rather preferred dealing with Myr over himself. Go figure.

She chuckled at her husband. "She reacts better to warmer climates. As for the merchant, yes they like me better." she winked. "I'm a devoted Mother trying to make her daughter healthy." she looked so proud of herself. "As such, they enjoy spoiling Saras."
She hummed softly. "I got word from Zena, Rikru is holding down the fort nicely. He's looking forward to comeing down here once we go up there." Rikru was a Shifter who worked for the theif ring her Dads ran. He also was the person who ran the Inn when they were there.

Ai'iandaroch 2 "Oh aye and a devoted Father gets stinkeye. I see how it works." He poked at her gently. "Rikru is smart to want to be here during Zena's winter." Ai rumbled sagely. They took the busy season, and the dangerous season. Rikru got to be in Zena when it was as warm as it ever was and in Matori when it was cool and full of storms.
"Why we suffer through winter up there well, its for the coins for me." He hated the cold but running the Inn kept them warm and busy which was okay by him, then they got to come to Maotri during its warm period and it melted all the memories away. Soothing it was, but hot like really hot some days. He still loved it. Myr handled the cold better than he did his feelers got all wilty.

Myridia 3 "You don't get the stinkeye as much since Saras went with you that one time." she chuckled. Their daughter was able to show people the better half of others. It was always a delight for Myr to see her interact with people. "Besides, we don't suffer through the winter. We had the kids here in Matori, but we met in Zena..."
She leaned up to kiss his cheek. "Remember? That wintery day which you walked with me?"

Ai'iandaroch 3 "No I think they finally figured out who I'm married to." He snorted. His whole world revolved around her and there family so he couldn't see why strangers just couldn't sense it. Ai stretched. "How could I forget my love. The snow fell in perfect flakes that day, each snowflake sharp and unique. As unique as the beautiful woman I walked with." He winked. Oh yes, he remembered. And had thanked the gods every day since that she had chosen him over all the shifters and icelings. He with his strange background and rediculous height. Her with her perfect grace and form and sass. Oh yes he loved her. Very very much.

Myridia 4 She chuckled as she could see his mind recalling that moment. She shook her head, her much longer hair now in curls around her shoulders. Hummin softly as she finished putting away the goods. "Alright, all food is packed away. Shall we get those weapon materials squared off?"
They had really gone all out with this shopping trip, but it was a rare yearly trip that allowed them some extra coin.

Ai'iandaroch 4 "Yes we shall." He sorted and squared away the supplies neatly and out of the way so that they could utilize the smallish cabin space the best way. It was good to get away from the Inn occassionally and this trip was a good break. So long as he had Myr with him he had all he needed really. He took a deep breath after they were done and tugged her into his lap for a long needed snuggle. "Stop fretting, just be here in the moment with me in a cabin in the woods in the middle of absolutely no where." He kissed her hair and held her close, relishing in just being near her in a quite place far from their regular cares and worries and dedication to service.

She smiled as she curled into his chest. This was a much needed break back in their first home. That little cottage in Matori where they had the twins. That home they built themselves while figuring out where the Inn would best be placed. She looked around. "So many memories here...their first steps.....first words."
She whined. Leaning into him.

Ai'iandaroch 5 He felt his hair stand on end when she recalled memories of their children. It had been so long ago, but he remembered their birth and the first night home with two bundles that he was deligted for but had no idea what he was doing. They had been so small and had grown like right little weeds. He remembered how they would rush him when he came in the door, how they had wrapped their little fists in their mother's hair to nurse, how confused they were that he had long hair but regretably for them did not produce milk. He smirked at the outraged look on their faces when they figured it out. He was best for kiddy kinfa rides though, he would take them in his large hands and mock fly them around the room. "You are making my heart ache. They were so cute..so fiesty." He held her close, feeling like he needed this comfort most of all.

She smiled softly to him. Their children were his life and drive. Hers as well. So when their little girl got sick, they both were more than destraught. She composed herself a moment before humming. "So...how are the new Kinfa hatchlings?"
She wanted a change in topic, least she start recalling her grandbabies and great-grandbabies that most likely hated her. She started to braid a lock of his hair as he sat there with her.

Ai'iandaroch 6 "Really good actually! I'm enjoying working with them." They had not been his specialty but he thought that they might be now. "I think I love working with them, I would like to get better and better at it." It was a break from the sword and the forge and it amused the Inn guests that had an interest in them. They were beautiful birds and he adored the interactions they had. Smart too, not a bird brain to be found.
This had been something she had done from the start and he loved it. She would do his war braids when he took rare mercenary work which he didn't do nearly as often now with their varied source of Inn income. Plus being away from Myr and Saras had just been too hard when Saras was sick. He couldn't do it unless they were desperate financially and he was scarily effecting during those times so he could just go home after the job was done. It had earned him a reputation but he was a hard man to find when he wanted to blend in. He was paid well though and it was more higher end clients that called upon him. Though he had not taken a merc job in years.

She was thinking about something. Something that would be difficult for them both. "Ai...what if...we took up a few...nefearious jobs? Saras has a caretaker in that beast we got her in Matori...she's training them to help around the Inn."
She finished the braid with a bead from her own hair. A habit she did. "I know you enjoyed merc work as I did the bandit jobs..."

Ai'iandaroch 7 He took a deep breath. "Well, now that she is situated I don't see why not. We could use some extra coin. Maybe we could also work out of here for those forays..some nice spicey work, then home with you sounds good. It has been so long since we were able to do a job together, little do they know that you are the dangerous one." He smiled sweetly at her. He was strong, swift and powerful, she was clever and had powerful magic. He loved watching her use it, it was rare but it was always worth it and she almost always won unless the other side cheated. In that case he flattened the few that got through. Many people were strong against either physical or magical attacks but not commonly both.

She smiled at him. "I know you don't like the idea of me in danger..." she winked. "Those were some fun nights in the aftermath...all that adreneline....the sight of you with your sword is always a delight for me." she kissed her husband gently.
"Besides there's a few people who've wronged our daughter I want to pay a visit for free." she muttered. "Remember that one group of hooligans? I got their locations."
