He'd finally arranged a time, and place, to meet with Remarque and Chalcanthite would be joining him for this meeting. He'd breifly filled Remarque in on what had happened in the mirrorspace, both instances, while explaining that there was more too it and his fiance knew a bit more.
He hadn't hidden the fact that the officer who would be joining him was his fiance, he trusted his Prince, Remarque was married and didn't have issue with the Negaverse so wasn't going to hand his partner over to order. While Chalcanthite wanted to be cautious he wasn't so concerned and worried, they only really needed to watch out for order finding out about the, at least that was Melpomene's opinion on matters.
While he'd been discussing things, via text message, Liam had been helping Aloysius with dinner and patching the other up. Since settling into the manor, and further into their relationship, Liam had gotten good at multitasking and he'd put those skills to use this evening. Now though, with his stomach full and his partner patched up, Melpomene was stepping through one of the mirrors in the house. An arm about his fiance as he stepped iin. Again, it felt like walking through some sort of gel..something moist and thick and with enough give to let them through but...it took some push and force.
"I don't like that." Not one bit, giving the others side a squeeze as he stood just inside mirrorspace with the other. "I've never had a mirror give such resistence."

Aloysius had seen some of the messages as he'd been close to Liam while they were texting Rem. He didn't like it, sharing more personal information with others, even if they were chaos. Hell, he'd avoided Alexandre knowing who he was as a civilian for over a decade, at least until Meloday had interfered. So he was slightly disgruntled, even as they worked to get the rest of the glass out of his skin and patched him up. Most of it had just nicked and scratched at him, aside from where a larger shard had cut down the outside edge of his left pinkie and hand. That had to get wrapped, coming just short of his engagement ring as he fidgeted with it during dinner. By the time everyone had left and he'd eaten at least lightly, he was more than ready to see what Remarque knew. He didn't like how mirrorspace was acting up, even if it had no sway over him, if only because it might cause problems for his fiance. It was still very apparent something was up as he was pulled along with them through the mirror, feeling the extra pressure and fight of surface tension that wasn't normally there when they pulled him along. "Me either, something is very wrong with this." Still he kept close to them, even if he took a moment to look around and see if there were any other odd mirrors around. "Hopefully no more cracking mirrors this time." Leaning back into them for just a moment before he stepped away and out of their grasp. Just enough so that they didn't look improper.

Remarque grumbled from a few feet away. “No luck there,” he muttered. Chalcanthite had, no doubt, been finishing a conversation between himself and Melpomene, but Remarque had caught the tail end of it. He was in the process of shaking out his sleeves, and small, glittering dust fell off as he did so. A few larger shards of mirror were scattered in a circle around him, but the mirror he must have come through was nowhere to be seen.
“I was a little rough, might have been my fault. Didn’t want to keep you two waiting.”
As he usually was in Mirrorspace, he greeted them as Prince Remarque. His wings were folded neatly behind him and they seemed, thankfully, devoid of any glass shards.
He raised one hand in greeting but didn’t offer it to shake, probably because of the glass more than any statement against the Negaverse.
Melpomene was far from the first Dark Mirror Senshi to wind up involved with a Negaverse officer, so it came as no great surprise when he was first made aware of their relationship. It wouldn’t change the meeting they were going to have.
On the wall behind him, three mirrors had strange cracks but hadn’t broken out. They would have appeared normal if not for the fractures. For the Common Room, it was markedly an uncommon sight.
“You two okay?”

Looking up, and over, the blonds blue eyes landed on his prince and there was a smile on his face moments later. He did take note of what appeared to be dusted glass. "I take it the mirrors don't like you either?" He questioned, not that he really needed to know the answer, all that glitter was answer enough for him.
"Yeah, this time we're ok. Chalcanthite already had an incident with a mirror and there was my trip in where the wraiths were acting odd. They seemed to be draining a mirror of energy." Pointing to the cracked ones he took notice of. "They did that to the mirror they were draining from, it shattered soon after." And the second time, when Chalcanthite had been with him, it had caused his partner some injuries.
"It seems there is a lot going on, something big, the Negaverse is involved and it's not good from what my general has told me." Which wasn't everything, he knew that, but he allowed him his secrets and other things. He trusted if it was important, if he needed to know, Chalcanthite would have told him. "I think we should let the others in the court know, let them decide if they want to be involved or not. They should also know the mirrors in the hall aren't all safe right now." He knew not everyone would want to get involved in things, and that was fine, because they weren't ordered to do things ever. It served them well in his opinion. It kept their much smaller faction safe.
"I believe my fiance has some things we can share. There isn't a solid answer, as far as I know, on what's going on. But there is enough to work with." Squeezing his fiances hand as he bumped the general with his hip, nodding his head as he spoke. He was going to let him take over and explai nthings, because he knew more.

Nodding slightly, inclining his head in a small bow of greeting, he couldn't help but feel a bit bad that even as a prince the mirror was still giving them some trouble. "It showed part of space, instead of a reflection, and I may have been a bit too close when it decided it was done with my inspection of it." Holding his bandaged hand up slightly, he coughed as Melpomene hip bumped him. "Something large from somewhere out in space, there were murals I saw and I have sketches of them as well as photos. Something may be related to a place called the Celestial theatre, but my information is sparse relating to that topic. The murals depicted some sort of serpent that was then imprisoned, and something has weakened or destroyed one of the spikes that held it dormant." With that, he pulled the notebook for now, showing the sketched image of the mural he'd pulled energy from, one of humans hammering at a spike with the serpent above them. "I believe that we need as many people involved, no matter their affiliation, if this threat makes its way to Earth. But I also know that a lot more information is needed before any large or rash decisions are made." Something he intended to keep reminding his fiance about even as they gave out information so freely and kept trying to rush into helping him when things needed to be handled delicately.

If Chalcanthite had a Dark Mirror Senshi, Remarque would have told him not to bother with the polite little nod, but as he was with the Negaverse there was no such insistence. Remarque appreciated the gesture. It was easy to imagine what had happened when his hand was so clearly bandaged.
“Ah, the mirrors like me just fine,” he grumbled. “But I’m sorry to hear about your ‘incident’. I’m still not sure what’s causing it, but I’ve been digging around. At the very least, it seems you’ve got a good head on your shoulders so I’m glad you stopped by,” he said, nodding politely to the General.
“I appreciate the heads up.”
His eyes found the sketchbook and for a few seconds he seemed like he was deep in thought. He finished shaking out his sleeves while two small wraiths ran into the common room, danced around a mirror, and then leapt into it.
“Gonna have to break this down a little, seems like there’s a lot going on and I’m still putting pieces together. Too bad there’s not some cosmic guidebook on what to do when these things happen.”
Seemed like an eternal guessing game where everyone had to scramble to figure out a plan before the universe imploded.
“Are you working with anyone else on this yet? Anyone getting a plan together?”

Melpomene for his part stood there allowing his partner to talk, to explain thigns and show his sketches, he knew far more than himself about these matters. "I'm glad the mirrors have not attacked you." It would be rather shocking if they were to attack the prince of mirrorspace. "Thankfully I wasn't attacked as well...but with the obsessive nature of the wraiths, when it comes to these odd mirrors, I did worry they might turn on me if I were to get in their way or stop them. While I've no reason to fear them...the fear was still there. The obsessive behavior is so very strange for them so I figured the leap to an attack wasn't too far out of reach." It made sesne to him, and it stil ldid, he didn't like knowing he was worried and uncomfortable in his own space.
"I haven't looked into the mirror scape yet or investigated the chaos seed either. I do wonder what's going on there, unless you've looked?" Questioning his prince as he held onto his partners arm lightly. A look to the general, hoping they'd at least mention Benitoite, since his prince knew the other general and it wouldn't be a bad thing to mention him.
"It would be nice if there was some cosmic almanac where we could look this thing up." Because looking up this serpent would be easy then, it would make it easier to prepare for things.

Chalcanthite noticed his fiance's grip on his arm and moved just the smallest bit closer to them as he noticed the two wraiths going off. There was a lot to take in and he was still in the grasping at straws stage. Between the room he'd been in with nine others, the spikes of which he knew of only one with complete certainty, and the overcharged energy, there were so many things to look into. The other white moon senshi were leads but given that two were traitors, he didn't like his odds, even acting as a captain, that he might get a conversation that proved any worth out of them. "Yes, a fellow general, Benitoite." It was a start, and considering things, he had a feeling the smaller blonde might know Remarque. At least he thought that they might have mentioned things once in a non-negative light. "I have a few leads I am looking to follow, looking for information where I can, but I have to reconvene with them to find out what steps to take next here soon." He'd already been thinking about getting a look from space through one of the knights that had been agreeable with him and the persona he held in those interactions, but now after seeing those mirrors reflecting space he was certain he needed a different vantage point if possible. The question was where and how?

Remarque’s brows lifted in thought but he couldn’t disagree that it was beneficial the mirrors hadn't given him any issues lately.
Chaos Seed? Oh, he must mean the strange crystal at the top of the Black Citadel. The one Acubens was obsessed with.
“I’ve been around all parts of Mirrorspace I can access,” he said easily; he’d been to the Common Room, the Throne Room, Mirrorscape–and any of the unpredictable pathways that could take him from one place to another. “There are some strange mirrors cropping up on the islands, I’ve seen some weird things in them. But I can’t say anything seems out of the ordinary more there than anywhere else.”
He tilted his head a bit thoughtfully; he suspected that the two knew more than they’d shared but his curiosity had been piqued enough and he didn’t think it prudent to waste time beating around the bush.
“What’s Benitoite getting into? I don’t know how much help I might be in terms of information, but I can help where I can.”

"I see, so they seem to be popping up all over. I wonder if there is a pattern to what parts of space they are showing." Were they just random spots, a hiccup due to the storm? He really had no clue, but if they weren't doing much more than they currently were, it would probably be okay enough. "He and I were pulled into some sort of odd space where no signatures or powers could be sensed or used. There were ten of us, myself included, but not my fiance. Since then, Benitoite has been looking into finding the other order senshi that were there. We really have no leads on finding two of them. Only one of them gave a name, Encke. Though what I know of them leads me to believe cooperation even when larger things are at stake would be impossible. The other was one of the alien senshi, with wings on her back a small set of them. Not like those of an Eternal." While it was frustrating, he could understand, especially considering the events that had happened just recently with that mission he'd helped with in recovering Heliodor. Even if he did meet them as a captain, he figured it would most likely end with him getting zapped just as Desiree and Ako had. "I know that cooperation between all sides is needed. While the information is still limited right now, I do intend to find out more where I can." With Melpomene close, he thought for a moment more about how they'd kept pushing them to trust Remarque. "I intend to contact some of the knights I know, ones that are agreeable with helping protect Earth as a team potentially. If I find anything important out, I can share it, if you notice a pattern to the mirrors or hear anything that might help, please let either of us know." It was a lot, he knew it was, but he felt like he needed to get things out clearly first. There were too many variables and he still hadn't quite shaken that feeling of panic from the mural. That on top of the very real fact that one of the spikes could be held by the alien senshi, one who might not feel any particular way about saving this planet as it wasn't their home.

Maybe, if it was giving clues on where in space they needed to go. The mirrors could be like some form of a map, right? He wasn't sure why they were showing bits of space, there had to be a reason for whatg they were showing, he was certain they'd figure it all out once all was said and done.
Listening as his fiance described what had happened that night, he'd heard it before, Liam didn't find it boring. It was still interesting to him, the idea of being up in space, even though he'd not been pleased with the museum incident. He also wouldn't mind seeing space if it were under safer conditions, and he knew his partner was the same way, he had no idea Aloysius was going galavanting off about space. He'd have asked to join him if he'd known, or at least pictures.
"I have a feeling Benitoite will be looking for you soon Remarque. We've been to see him once and I'm certain we'll be meeting more, as my fiance said, as things continue on. You'll be kept in the loop by one of us three." Or some combination. It would be good for their court to be kept aware of what was going on. "Should we let the court know about the mirrors you and I have seen? I mean if the wraiths seem safe, you'd have mentioned if you thought they weren't safe." Even though he'd figured they might not be, he would trust Remarque on this one. "Than we don't need to worry them with the wraiths, a simple mention of them hanging around odd mirrors perhaps. I don't know how many are in talks with order or the Negaverse...so some information might be nice." Especially since he knew Rhona had children, twins, and he was certain others had to have families they'd like to keep safe and out of things.

“Yeah, go ahead,” Remarque said, nodding to Melpomene. “Feel free to spread the word. I’ve not been keeping secrets, I’ve been leaving notes in the citadel. Seems like everyone is having slightly different experiences so it’s been a little difficult to identify what’s related or what’s supposed to mean anything.”
He shrugged, not because he was dismissing it, but because he wasn’t going to waste energy worrying when he could be doing something.
He’d prepared for a day when the world might end. He’d just thought it was going to be because the Negaverse and the White Moon were tearing things apart.
This was a little different.
They weren’t at the end of the road, and even if he had been preparing, he wasn’t ready to let everything go so easily. If it meant working together with everyone else, fine. Remarque was an agreeable person, especially if he got what he wanted in the end.
“Might be easier to spot a pattern if we all know what to look for, though. I’m willing to cooperate. There’s too much on the line to let hubris get in the way. So you just let me know if you or the Negaverse need anything, all right?” he asked, eyes on Chalcanthite.

Hearing that there would be information gathered that his fiance could access did put him slightly at ease on that front. It would be something they could keep track of and look into while he was off world looking into the storm from other planets. It was his hope he could find something on any place he could get to, maybe something to help narrow down where or what to look for in the mirrors that showed space here. "Yes, of course, I will keep you updated as I find things. I hope that more people are reasonable enough to understand that cooperation is imperative but I also cannot expect everyone to be pleased with the idea of it." He had no issue, as long as in the end he, Liam, and Desiree were safe. His team was important too, but when it boiled down to things, he knew that his priorities were with his fiance and his mauvian. "If you ever need anything from Melpomene or me, please let us know. It can be outside of dire situations as well." Offering help, something he knew Liam would do almost for anyone, was not as common for him, but given the level of trust his fiance had, he could at least do that.

Melpomene was in agreement with his partner, he could hope everyone would understand the need for working together...he just doubted that would happen. This was Destiny City and this war had been going on how long? There were people too hurt by either side to want to work together, too much hate as well, some would never be willing to work towards a single goal like that. It was fine, he just hoped enough people were willing to work together.
"Notes in the citadel...I haven't been that way yet. We're also going to check out mirrorscape, my island, and see if there is anything going on." So he'd see the notes, maybe leave some of his own depending on things, but it would be nice to spread word amonst their own so everyone knew and could make a choice - to help or not. "I won't disagree there, it seems it's magic itself that isn't working right so results on everything are all over the place. Whatever this thing is...it's messing with everything." Not just the weather, he'd be somewhat ok if it was just that, but messing with other things was a bit much for him.
"Yes, if there is a pattern we can spot it with enough information from everyone." At least he hoped as much, it would be good if they could. Giving a squeeze to his partners hand. "Like Chal said, anything you need even outside of this, let us know. We'll do our best to help." It was nice having a partner who was in the Negaverse and was on good terms with his own court, unlike some officers who didn't seem to like the dark mirror court. It made things easier for him.
"Let's get through this all ok." He had to keep a n optimistic view on all of this, he needed to, because there wasn't any other option...the only other one...it wasn't acceptable, thigns couldn't all just end. "Together, and with everyone else who wants to help."
