Something had changed here and it didn't sit well with him, the unnatural storm and everything that seemed to come along with it had him, for once thinking of journeying back home. It hadn't been something he had done since coming to this world, if anything he'd filled his time with so many things as to not have to think about going back. But if the storm was here, did it also extend to his home? Would it be safer if he went back, even with the water being as it was and the vault being locked? But he didn't want to go alone, he needed someone to go with him just in case. So, reaching out through his senshi phone, he contacted the human senshi who had brought up things about algae blooms and what he might be able to do about the tainted water. Standing near one of the fountains, he paced back and forth as he fidgeted with one of the beads in his hair. Both this storm and the fact he was going to his world had him on edge, something that wasn't common or normal either for the small grey senshi. He just hoped his friend wouldn't ask too many questions because for once he wasn't feeling particularly talkative when it came to his world or his past.

Fionan really was trying to get into the whole senshi thing, and he felt like he'd been doing better, it still was slow going for him but he was at least trying. So when the message came, a request, he'd accepted it and headed out of his home in order to meet with the alien senshi.
He'd powered up half way to the meeting spot, finding a good place to hide in order to do so, there really weren't a lot of people out right now. He supposed the storm had most people inside, as it should, it was violent out tonight and had him worried as he hurried to the location, hoping the other was ok, this weather was certainly not normal and he did wonder if they'd come to realize this fact. If it wasn't normal though....he didn't like the idea of what it could mean otherwise. He was really trying to make it on time, as he'd told the other he'd only be twenty minutes, but he was running late as usual. Not only had he left a bit later than intended but Fionan had gotten distracted by the storm. He'd taken some time to stop and stare and worry, because who wouldn't worry seeing this sort of a storm?
When he finally spotted the other senshi he headed over, quickening his pace. "Hey, you ok?" Concerned for the other, and why they'd reached out to him, he did hope they were ok considering everything going on tonight.

By the time they'd arrived, he'd paced enough to clear the strewn leaves from his path on the pavement around the fountain. It took a moment for him to respond, considering things as he eyed them and then the crackling storm above. "Do... you still want to see my planet," he asked while trying to sound a bit more like himself. Anything to nudge his nerves back down as he pulled his senshi phone out. Illyria had explained things to him a bit more after the last few times he'd helped clear chaos from the worlds of others. Maybe hinting at him to at least go and look since he hadn't even gone once since he'd made it here almost two years ago now. "I promise it won't be like the other world you helped with, I don't think anything is moving around on my planet." Trying to hint that things should be calm, even if he had no idea of how it looked there.

Taking note of the cleared path they'd clearly been walking, and knowing he'd run late, he did feel bad...as he always did when he was late for things and people. "Sorry I'm late." Because he really was sorry. "Um, yeah. But tonight?" Glancing up at the sky. "This won't make that harder for you...or impossible?" Like how planes couldn'f fly during certain things, including storms like this, there was no way any planes were going over Destiny City tonight as it was highly unsafe. Was travel to space similar? Would this mess with it somehow? Having never been to space he didn't know how things worked, or what was or wasn't possible.
"Ok, yeah iof you think it's safe we can go." Stepping close to the other, assuming closeness was needed, he really wasn't sure what to expect with this. When they got there what would he see? What help could he give? Was his idea, passed off to the other so long ago, possible even? This sort of science wasn't his thing but he could research it and see if he knew anyone who had more of a clue than he did.
He'd have to try, right?

"It's okay! Really it is, I know the weather isn't great." If anything, it was much more concerning than any other weather he'd seen outside of the odd holiday mishaps that he'd learned were standard for this city. Taking their hand, he fiddled with his phone awkwardly until he got it ready like he'd been shown. "It... might be bumpy, hold your breath?" Mentioning it sheepishly as he closed his eyes and hit the button. Maybe they'd been right because it was rougher than he expected, finding himself tumbling with them into the sand. "Ooof!" It took more than a moment for him to blink away the stars, but when he looked up the storm was much worse here. "Oh... oh no." A crackle of lightning struck one of the tall stone pillars far ahead, so he hoped they would keep going after taller things instead of him and Pleione. Focusing on them for a moment, he noticed over their shoulder that the waves weren't coming up on the sand as they had before. The tide... it wasn't right and he hadn't seen that before. He couldn't really see the water from the angle but something was different and it had him uneasy.

"Yeah, the weather isn't normal. It's alarming and I hope everyoen is inside tonight." He wished he was inside tonight, but he was out here with the intentions of helping someone. Once he got back to Destiny City he'd be heading home as quickly as he could, and not leaving till the storm was over...at least he hoped. he could hope his boss would not have them working if tomorrow was still nasty out.
Stepping closer to the other, as close he could get without pressing against them, this whoel thing had him nervous with the weather right now. He knew it wasn't normal weather, it was something magical, and he couldn't help but be concerned about this right now. Even though he was close, and hoping for a easy trip, he got there but not so easily. He lost his balance and landed on the ground and rolled in the sand twice before laying there on his back. "Not the best, I'm sure, but given how things are tonight." He assumed he was lucky really.
"Powering up wasn't easy either, it seemed almost unwilling...or lagged." Lagged was the best way to describe it he felt, like there was a delay of some sort...for some reason.
Watching the storm above him he sighed. "Looks like it's up here too...unless this is normal?" Which he was goign to assume wasn't the case. So what the hell was happening on Earth and up here...aside from the obvious something big, what specifically was happening was what he was wondering. "You ok over there?" Rolling, and twisting, so he could look over at the other as he heard their voice.

"Me too, something isn't safe about this." With that he shuffled forward, towards what normally would be the edge of the beach. Getting closer as the lighting struck again, this time out into the water where the tip of a structure could be seen. "Oh... oh no." Giving a panicked look back at Pleione, he fidgeted with his hands. "The storm... I.. I think the wards are down. The city is open." He hadn't seen it in how many years? Not since he'd lost his arm at the peak of all the fighting. Taking another cautionary step forward, he could see one of the tunnels just down the beach, water gushing from it to stabilize things he guessed. It had never flooded before, not when things were working. But he had no clue what it was like inside anymore. "Maybe... maybe it'll be okay? You don't have to come along but... do you have anything that makes light? I don't know what it's like in there anymore."

"No, it isn't. I don't know a lot about this all but even I know this isn't safe, this is some dangerous magical thing." And he didn't like it, he didn't like one bit of it, he just hoped it all ended well...wether he knew what was going on or not he didn't care. He just wanted a good outcome, as he had a feeling he would not be involved in all this.
"What wards?" He questioned, not knowing what the other was talking about, he knew what a ward was but this place had wards? "Explain the ward thing...what they are for and why." Because he'd rather know what was going on, as best he could, given that this was a place he'd never been before. Following a step behind the other, they knew this place better than he did, he was trusting them to lead the way and keep them both safe...at least somewhat safe anyway.
"I'll come with you...and I think the senshi phones have a flashlight option...at least I'd think they have a new version out that does." As he did not infact have the newest senshi phone, something he should perhaps deal with, as he was sure the tech for them had changed over the years. He just had been so far out of the loop and away from things. "You have one of those, right?"

Stopping on the spot, just in front of the closest tunnel, he traced his hand over the runes which were normally lit. Even after things had happened, they'd always remained lit so he couldn't understand what was going on. "Procyon, here, exists mostly beneath the water. All our cities were down there, the land was just for visitors to arrive on." Looking back over towards the rock formations, he knew things had been a bit different after the divide. Everyone who sought to escape that seeping chaos in the algae had come up while the rest had locked themselves down in the cities. "It kept the water from flooding things, from letting all the sickness in. At least that's what they hoped for." Sounding unsure, he hesitated as he pulled his senshi phone out to try and find the flashlight. "Yes, Miss Illyria gave it to me when she found me in the lake there in the city." Showing it to Pleione before he waved the beam of light into the darkened tunnel entrance. The water level wasn't high enough that they couldn't get in there, but he could smell the salt and algae as he breathed in. "Nothing... should be down there but be careful just in case." With another crack of lightning, he could see the faint glow of more wards down the tunnel going out. It made him nervous, something he rarely had felt around others in a while, and he didn't like any part of this. But if he could find something.... maybe that would make up for it.

"Diod visitors stay on land or were there places for them to stay under the water? Places for people like myself to stay?" Because he was not some aquatic animal, or anything of the sort, he could swim but not live or breath underwater. "Or was there a way to help land dwelling people?"
"Sooo...your people can live above, but didn't want to." That made some sense, especiallty if it was more familiar to them and where they'd been born and grown up. "It failed though, somehow, the safety of living down there provided..though above ground wasn't safe either." Something had come for them all...the issue was fixing it. He had said he'd help...but things seemed off from the way the other was behaving and talking, was something wrong?
"Is something...not normal here?" He questioned the other as he followed right behind them.
"I'm just hoping I can manage to breath...or hold my breath?" He questioned slowly, voice trailing off, he really was worried about this whole bit.

"Both, but there are separate areas for visitors that might make them feel more at home based on how warm or cold their home was. It normally was pretty warm here, which is why I have such a hard time on Earth in the cold.." Shivering at the thought of it, he followed the steps down and held onto the railing since everything was wet, which meant they could slip on the stone and metal stairs. It was uncomfortable to be asked about things, leaving him feeling on the spot, but he nodded and answered. "Something in the water, seeped into everyone. Those who spent more time in it swimming or looking for pearls for jewelry were effected first." Looking back over his shoulder at them, he made sure they were alright so far. "Our skin is more breathable than human skin seems to be, toxins effected us greatly, which is why there were wards to keep things out in case a visitor's ship spilled something foul in the water." When he reached the landing and saw all the side doors open again, he took a moment to swip the beam of light over each entrance. "I got locked out with those who wanted to keep away from the water, it didn't just make people sick in the body but... also the mind." Speaking quietly, he paused in front of one of the doors, one that he thought led to the control center for the wards. That same sickening feeling he'd felt when they'd locked the vault seemed to seep out in the air down here. It had him shrinking away. "You'll be fine, other than the smell I think. But... can you feel that? It feels sick down here still, I think I need to tell some of the others." Just being here started to make him feel ill, his color going paler as he breathed in that sickening air.

"I see, that makes sense. Were there a lot of visitors here then? Otherwise it would seem a lot of work, for very little reason, to make places for various peoples needs." It was a good idea, and made sense, but that took a lot so there would have to be significant reason for it. At least that was his opinion.
"But you lived in water..tropical waters then? You would benefit from heating blankets then, and other methods of keeping warm." From heating blankets to just a lot of blankets, sweaters and layers, he would suggest moving somewhere warmer but he doubted they'd go for that. But maybe they would...eventually.
"Ok, that makes sense then. Skin that breaths and, I assume, absorbs. There are plenty of things on Earth which do similar." And as he followed right behind the other he could see them getting paler, and they were already pretty pale. "I sort of can and the smell...I'll manage. But will you manage? You look pale, are you sure you should be here?"

"Yes, all the time, for all sorts of ceremonies." Ones that he'd been in charge of, but it had been so long ago. It was what he was good at, socializing and making newcomers feel at ease.
Nodding to the rest of the suggestions, he found it hard to focus as he started to feel sick. He didn't want to go forward, even if it was something he always pushed others to do. Shaking his head, he stepped back and bumped into the other senshi.
"I think we should go." It wasn't a good look, but he didn't know what to do and he needed to ask others about it.

Stepping back, as they did, his hands moving to grasp the others arm as they nearly walked into him as they turned around. "You don't look good either. I think we need to solve the problem before going there is a safe idea." Meaning figuring otut eh cause and dealing with it properly, whatever that issue was, he still didn't know much though.
"The problem was the water though, right? So perhaps if we can get a container and gatehr up some water?" He wasn't sure he could do anything with it, not having acess to a lab or anything, but maybe...maybe he could do the senshi thing and find someone who could look into this and see if there was a solution to be found?
"We could reach out to other senshi, or knights, and see if any can look over the samples and see if they can tell what happened. If not than maybe a trip here for someone." He still thought it all sounded like things which happened on Earth..just a whole lot worse.
