Honestly, while Diaboleite had willingly bought into the magic of it all, some pieces still seemed absolutely unbelievable. It wasn't that he didn't trust Benitoite; that was his cousin, and he had no reason to doubt that Alexandre believed what he was saying, regarding the connection of the Senshi and Knights who made up their enemies to some sort of grander celestial order.
It just all sounded very...conspiracy minded. Benitoite had bene in the Negaverse for a decade; he'd surely heard the stories a thousand times, and absorbed them, and he surely sincerely believed them. But it just seemed. Far-fetched.
Still, the thing to do was to get informed, and so he found himself browsing the database when he had time--and there, within it, were confirmed encounters with Senshi from other worlds. So he had been forced to adjust his expectations and understandings.
There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio.
And now, from a distance, he had spotted what he expected had to be one of the aliens--if the purple skin alone didn't give it away. But he had a draining victim to hand, mostly finished, and it seemed a waste to back off. No, he would simply have to finish what he was doing and handle his first alien encounter after. Work first, after all.

Troilus really didn't like the Negaverse. He simply couldn't comprehend how... sinister and deliberate the Chaos infecting Earth was. The way it carefully twisted the minds of Earth's citizens, making them believe that it was good and helpful and just wanted to protect Earth. It sickened him. How could all these people so easily fall for it? Spotting an Agent draining some poor fool who'd gotten caught (though it's not like it would be hard to be caught, when one was a simple civilian), he gritted his teeth and marched over, crossing his arms to glare at the Agent. He didn't want to get the civilian hurt, so he wouldn't start anything physical just yet, and the last thing he needed was his magic getting the guy enthused about draining and/or starseeding the civ. "Drop them," he ordered. "Or you won't like what my magic does to you."

Ugh. This was all so...pedestrian, really. Space magic and ancient wars and all, and it came down to simple, basic threats and posturing, like this was some kind of...aggressive negotiation. Honestly, he was deeply disappointed in this alien stranger, who was simply here making base you won't like me when I'm angry style...whatever this was.
"I don't take well to threats," Diaboleite said. "Never have, regardless of the context."
He had never pulled a starseed before, and hadn't thought to start. It had seemed wasteful, when energy would sustain just as well. But then again...well.
It was remarkably easy, to reach into the man's chest and curl his fingers around something warm and solid.
"Turn around. We both know that I have the real leverage, here."

"And I've never taken to well to murderers," he said as cheerfully as he could manage. "I'll let you know right now, I'm very skilled at taking items that shouldn't be eaten out of mouths that shouldn't be eating them. Just in case you were thinking about shoving that down your throat." With that, he lunged forward, hands extended to grab around Diaboleite's face. Going for a slightly weird attack would hopefully throw him off.

Well then. Clearly this mouthy little alien was all too willing to hop into a fight. Somewhat literally, since he seemed to be aiming high. But given that Diaboleite had decided he no longer cared about the struggling civilian's life, well--he jerked his hand out, clutching his precious prize, and using the leverage of it to toss the civilian's body at the Senshi and hopefully knock him down.
"Hardly necessary," Diaboleite said, and he held up the precious, glowing gem, "considering that I can crush this between my fingers. But please, continue to make terrible decisions."
Honestly.

"What—oof!" He caught the body of the civilian, just barely, and still stumbled to the ground with the man in his arms, managing to not let either of them get hurt but still completely losing his balance. "Wait, wait, hold on, ********' pause, timeout, what do you mean you can just CRUSH IT?! You can just squeeze your fingers and crush it like a—like an itchberry?!" he shouted in confused fear from the ground as he tried to arrange the poor civilian's body into something that wouldn't be completely horrendous to wake up to—if he saved the man's life at all.

There was a temptation, in that moment, to laugh. The Senshi, scrambling to get the civilian off him, shocked at the knowledge of what a Negaverse officer could do...yes, that did cheer Diaboleite up.
It was a temptation he resisted, so as to avoid becoming a cliche, butt he temptation was there.
"I see you are poorly informed," Diaboleite said, "because yes. I could crush this with ease. It would be a terrible waste, and I'd rather bring it back where it can do some good, but continue to press me, and I will. Or you can agree to turn around and leave, and I'll give this back to you, and we both go about our night. Your choice."

"By Myrtha's tits," he breathed. "Yeah, yup, no I'm leaving, no further questions, goodbye." He shuffled the civilian a bit more, because gods, waking up with a crick in your neck after having your soul stolen, however briefly, would simply be the cherry on top for this poor guy. That finished, he stood and fled, not even giving a second thought to turning his back on an enemy and/or the idea that said enemy might lie and still take the starseed anyway. He just wanted to escape with his life and get home. Go back to Ryla and Heibing and tell them the horrifying discovery he'd just made. Those Chaos beings that wore human faces and called themselves Agents, in addition to snatching starseeds straight from someone's body, could just destroy one. Literally squeeze the life right out of it. That was completely unprecedented. What else could they do with them? He needed information, and fast. He just hoped than when he got home to the cramped living space he and all his alien friends shared with the Earthling Lianli that he wasn't about to wake any of them up. They all needed to know about this.

Good. It had worked. Diaboleite couldn't help but be pleased by that--and it was good to know that the sort of leverage he was willing to apply would work.
He had made a deal. And going back would be poor form. Plus, his target had donated plenty of energy to the Negaverse, no need to take his soul as well. So, he casually sauntered by the body, dropping the starseed in the general direction of his chest.
Diaboleite did not pause to see if the man got back up. It was no longer his problem.
