It was a quite evening for which Taki was glad, it meant he could sneak out for a while. After all his mom was busy with work and it'd be a while before she would be able to check on him.
He'd stepped out to the park closest to his house, somewhere close but familiar just to stretch his legs and see if there was anything interesting going on. He hoped there would be someone fun to speak to tonight, instead of the normal bug hunting.
Though he did enjoy watching the fireflies and riding the springy toys that the park had. Tonight he'd landed on the lion springy toy at least for the time being, counting the fireflies as they flew by.
When he paused, feeling an energy signature nearby he looked around to his left and right to see if he could see anyone. Half wondering if he should try and move to the jungle gym or the castle that held the slides for a better view. "Hello?" He called waiting to see if there was a response.

Honestly, there was something heartening about seeing a Chibi Senshi. And surely this had to be one--so small and young, much moreso than any of the other Earth humans that Tianyi had met.
And once upon a time, he had been a chibi. Back then, it had been so exciting to be a Senshi...his greatest worry had been wondering why Bailian couldn't go out in public with him anymore, and how nerve-wracking it was to appear as Sailor Tianyi for the first time.
How things had changed.
He stepped forward, giving the Chibi on his little lion a gentle smile.
"Hello," he said, tail swishing. "I'm Tianyi. It's very nice to meet you."

Chibi Totoro had felt the energy signature coming towards him, and recognized it as an order. So he wasn't really concerned. He looked towards the new person who introduced himself and he grinned, "Hello!!!"
There was a pause for a moment when he noticed the tail swishing, but he tried not to stare as that was rude according to his mother; but he had questions suddenly form in his head, "I'm Chibi Totoro, it's nice to meet you too!"
It wasn't long before his thoughts fell out of his mouth, "How does your tail move like that, Tianyi? That's awesome!" He'd seen tails on costumes but the only tail that moved he knew of was on guardian cats in human forms. He was fascinated by the fact this senshi had a tail that actually seemed to move on it's own instead of like the one on his costume where it was pretty still unless he moved.

Chibi Totoro. How charming. Some kind of animal sphere, Tianyi would guess, from his uniform--which seemed like it was probably designed to replicate whatever creature his sphere was, just like Tianyi's outfit was decorated with golden kerrias.
The question made him blink, and he reached down to lift up his tail, looking at it in the light of someone who was...probably not used to seeing those.
"Oh, it moves because it's a part of me," he said. "I'm not...from here. From Earth. I'm from my own planet, very far away. In a whole different star system, even. But my world is..." Broken. Destroyed. Because of him, because of whatever curse he'd brought. But a child didn't need to hear that. "...Sick. So I had to come here."

Totoro listened as Tianyi explained that the tail was real and he wasn't from earth. The chibi senshi paused and looked awed, "That's really cool!! I wonder what it'd be like if my tail moved like that."
He picked up his costume's tail and then looking back when Tianyi said his world was sick a frown came across Totoro's face, "Does earth have something to make your world better? Can I help? I mean I know I'm a chibi but, I still could try to do something!"
Totoro hadn't been to his homeworld and quite frankly he wasn't sure how to get there, "How would you get back there though?" It sounded like a simple space ship would probably take forever, "Does it take a long time like it does the astronauts on TV when they try to go to space?"

Tianyi pressed his index finger against his cheek, thoughtfully. "It helps me balance, and ears and tails were a big part of my people's body language, once upon a time. No one here really understands it, but that's okay!"
Oops. That was probably upsetting. Tianyi needed to just...not....do that. Not be upsetting.
Also, so many Senshi on Earth apparently didn't know that they could visit their worlds?? How strange! His housemetes had shown him that as soon as he got a phone, thoguh he hadn't bene yet.
"Well, earth has people, and other Senshi, who can maybe help me fix it, but I don't even know what that looks like yet. You can go to your world the same way I can go to mine, though!" He pulled his phone out of subspace, and tapped his finger next to the icon for the travel app, showing it to Totoro. "Your phone will take you. It's magic. So it doesn't take very long at all."

Totoro listened intently to the explanation that was given about how it helped him balance and the fact it was part of his body language. "That's so cool!"
Totoro felt bad because of how the last part sounded but he didn't say much on that part he tilted his head and listened about how to travel using his phone. He was thinking back did Realtea mention that when she woke him. "Ohhh that's neat! I wonder if the Guardian cat that woke me mentioned that and I forgot about it because of all the information she gave me."
The fact that being able to travel to space in the blink of an eye was exciting, "Man it sounds awesome, I should go sometime . . ." There was a pause, "I wonder if I should take an adultish type. . . person with me." He mused wondering how dangerous it might be.
He was looking back at Tianyi curious, "So if you're not from earth, what's your favorite part so far?"

At least kids were easily distracted, and Totoro didn't linger long on any of the sad bits. About Tianyi being the last one who knew what dropped ears or a lightly flicked tail meant.
Or....so many things.
"That would make sense," he acknowledged. A child learning all that at once must have been a lot, especially since it seemed like children here didn't grow up knowing they might one day become a magical warrior to protect their planet.
"You could definitely go with someone, but your planet shouldn't be dangerous," he said, and then he paused. Did he really know that? Could he say that for sure?
Ugh, he was not cut out for this.
"Anyway, I really like the sky. The sky on my world was...weird. Red. Eclipsed." Because of the Chaos. Because of him, the curse he carried. "But it's so pretty here, and it's always changing colors."

Totoro seemed thoughtful as Tianyi spoke about him being able to go with someone. But his homeworld wasn't suppose to be dangerous.
He looked towards the other senshi, "Maybe you'd like to come with me sometime?" He offered to the deep space senshi.
There was a pause when he spoke about the sky, "Yeah it's really pretty. You can see lots of stars in the parks it's usually dark enough." Totoro said as he looked up, "You won't see this near the streets or near the buildings. Which is a shame."
He paused, "You get to see lots of shooting stars, sometimes rarely though pretty colors dance through the sky - I don't know if you've heard of them they're called the northern lights." There was a pause, "I've learned in school you see the mostly in the North near Alaska and Canada."

Tianyi hummed, and then nodded. "Maybe! It might be nice to see other worlds." Though he wasn't sure how it would feel to go to other places, especially if they were doing better than his own world.
Ugh, that wasn't something to put on someone else.
"This world is really incredible," he sighed, softly. "I'm glad I made it here."
Not least because it was probably the only place he'd be able to survive.
"It's been very nice meeting you, Totoro," he said, and he folded his hands behind him giving a little bow. "I should get back to where I'm staying before anyone worries too much, but I hope we'll see each other again!"

Totoro nodded when Tianyi mentioned it might be nice to see other worlds, he tried not to frown it seemed like something was bothering Tianyi.
The chibi nodded, "I'm glad you're here too!"
There was a pause when the other said it was nice to meet him, "It was nice to meet you too!" He said quickly before watching Tianyi give a bow. "I - I should go too. But maybe we can meet up for a sweet treat next time!"
