The place where Tianyi found himself was....cold. Colder than it had been on his own world, but it was hard to really guess the season when everything had been so dead. Here, though, there was snow. He'd spent the last winter he could remember on Tianyi playing in the palace garden, totally unaware that people were likely starving outside the capitol's walls.
He'd been such a fool.
He wrapped his arms around himself and shivered, a little. It probably wasn't as bad as it could be, but....he was alone, here, on a strange world, with nowhere to go and no real idea of where he was. Which meant he was right back where he'd been when he ran away from that awful little village and the people there, when he'd gotten tired of--
Well. At least he wasn't there anymore.
His eyes flicked up to the sky, and his stomach dropped. It was a clear night, which meant he could see the stars--the stars that were in all different places from his home.
Oh.
He was quite far away.
He felt tears begin to well up in his eyes, and reached up to brush them away. That was silly, he was being dramatic, crying was a complete overreaction, just another sign of what a pathetic, pampered little thing he was. It wouldn't solve anything.
And yet, the tears came anyway.

Fang carried himself high these days, pride in every stride he took. With the Chaos finally gone from his planet, with it healing, life returning in bits and pieces—it was all worth it. Everything he'd gone through since coming to Earth. He was doing it. Recovering. His lips twitched into a self-satisfied smile as he patrolled a quieter seeming area, focusing on what he needed to—oh. He tilted his head, ears rotating slightly to catch any noise as he felt the appearance of a new aura. A basic senshi. He shifted his direction and paced slowly towards it, hoping that nothing bad was about to happen. Not with a basic senshi in the mix. "Hello?" he called as he drew near, staring hard at the silhouette. Were they... an alien? "Can Fang help?"

Oh. There was someone else here. The realization made Tianyi jolt, and he made a squeaking noise and stumbled backwards, tripping over the hem of his fuku and ending up on his butt in the snow.
"Um, hello," he called back, because there was no point hiding, he'd definitely been spotted--even if he felt very, very afraid. The silhouette was much bigger than him, and he wasn't sure what to make of that. He definitely wouldn't be able to defend himself if--if--
He didn't even know. His ears dropped, and he hoped that making himself small and unthreatening made him seem like a less attractive target.
"Maybe you can help? I don't really know where I am," he admitted. Maybe...maybe if he was pathetic enough, that would do for protection.

Fang winced in sympathy when the other senshi fell to the ground, walking more slowly and crouching a little to try to appear less intimidating. His tail still wagged cautiously, and he hoped the senshi would understand his body language. He'd yet to meet someone who misunderstood the greeting wag and the happy wag. "We on Earth," he stated as he moved a bit closer, squatting fully and tilting his head at the senshi. "My name Fang. Been here, hmm, two year? Close to three?" He shrugged. "Safe here. Mostly. Hungry? We get food! Tell you more. Like rabbit? Or chicken?" He paused. "Rabbit, little mammal. Chicken, little bird. Food animals. Or, you only eat veggie? Fang not know lot about that, but he knows someone who does. You can ask many things. You will be safe, Fang promise."

Okay. Okay. This other Senshi didn't seem threatening. That was good. He was big, yes, but he seemed...well...friendly.
So maybe Tianyi was, improbably, in a better situation.
"Earth? I...see," he said, softly. "That's very far away from my home. I'm Tianyi." It didn't seem all that unbelievable, really, since he already knew he was on a different world. Slowly, he pushed himself up out of the snow, tail swishing and wings fluttering with nerves. "It's very nice to meet you, Fang, I..."
He had to think about it. Food had stopped being a priority, after a certain point; his captors had only cared to feed him enough to keep him alive, and had delighted in ensuring he knew that he was being given their scraps instead of the other way around.
"I'm not supposed to eat...meat...but..." But they'd acted like it was delicious and never once even thought to share. "I don't know? I might be hungry?"

Fang's tail exploded in a flurry of happy wags, stirring up snow behind him as he nearly quivered full-body with the force of his wagging. "Nice to meet Tiyani," he chirped. "Come, come! Fang take you to his best friend. We feed you. Keep warm, out of cold snow. Plenty of meat. And cheese!! Cheese is best food ever. Fang make sure you safe, happy." He stood from his crouch slowly, holding his hand out to help Tiyani up, if he wanted, tail slowing down marginally, but his grin never dimming. He was helping! This was what he always wanted! He just hoped Murikabushi was awake and okay to be bothered.
