After meeting one of the sovereigns and starting his life as a corrupt mauvian with Kioshi and Lorcan, he begrudgingly decided to go out and poke around to look for people. Lorcan, or well Stichtite as he was supposed to call him, was nearby to make sure nothing happened to him but they were focused on draining while he was focused on figuring things out.
It wasn't something he really had figured out yet, outside of a few blueprints he'd looked over and some things related to henshin pens. He was glad Kioshi had shown him theirs so he knew at least a bit about things if he was ever caught in a point where he actually had to do something even remotely close the to job description he was provided.
Apparently, there was a finders fee if he found new senshi to join, he just had to contact one of the sovereigns or something or other. It still didn't make much sense to him but both Lorcan and Kioshi had made it very clear that the all-you-can-eat K-BBQ was his rewards for doing things and it was something he couldn't say no to.

He might be a knight but he really didn't know what that entailed, he also didn't care about this whole war bit, it wasn't that he planned to slack off on the job but he was most certainly doing that. After that battle, and the burning house, he wasn't interested in fighting anyone. He had more of an intrest in space, and what that offered him, he just used this as an excuse to wander around and no one to know who he was. It was a chance to not be home, because when did he ever really want to be there? He was tired of that place and of his supposed family, because most of them didn't share his blood, it wasn't a place he wanted to be more than need be.
He could feel something, something stronger than himself, but they weren't likely to come for him - right? He knew it was stronger, he felt it pressing on him, but it was just the one that he felt. They wouldn't come for him surely, he wasn't worth it, so he continued his evening walk.

Walking along the cold sidewalk, he felt something new he didn't quite recognize and decided to go investigate. Peeking around a corner, he saw a man or maybe a teen? Either way, he was fascinated by their fancy clothing with all its deep and warm colors.
Trilling as he walked over to the person, he swished his tail and stared up at them curiously. Part of him wanted to pander for a snack but he wasn't sure if they'd react well to a talking cat at first.
He could feel Stichtite migrating closer, just in case which meant their patrol and draining was going well. Omen really couldn't wrap his head around how dedicated the blonde was but it was something Kioshi had let him know and he had seen first hand more than a few times already. The man was like clockwork, almost as much as he was.

Hearing an odd sound the page took a moment of looking around before he looked down - at a cat. "Kitty?" He questioned, bending to pet the cat there at his feet. He felt that signature drawing closer, just his luck, and wondered if he could run for it before they got too close. He didn't want things getting out of hand with a cat nearby who could get hurt.
"This isn't going to be good..." He whispered while moving his fingers to pet behind the cats ears, such a large cat. He wondered how old they were, they certainly weren't a kitten. Standing up slowly he took a moment to look around...damn it. He'd have to face whatever, or rather whoever, was coming his way. He wasn't going to escape and he could only hope the cat would be safe and run for it.
"You be safe kitty."

Bumping his head into the human, he blinked up at them when they mentioned something bad nearby. Was this one of those people, one of those so-and-so's from the other side? He wasn't supposed to interact with them right?
But he did like the petting and flicked his tail as he circled the one petting him and trilled again. It was then he saw that familiar blonde stepping out from the alley, tucking something away in that bag of his. He recognized it after thinking for a moment, it must have been a starseed.
Nipping the man's hand he puffed up a bit more as the captain approached. A soft growl came out as he got the idea that this wasn't going to end well.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That page signature stayed still as he freed a starseed from one of the less-than-fortunate people who had been caught out in the winter weather. The man had frostbite all over and he knew it would be best if they didn't have to suffer anymore. They weren't even fully aware when he'd done it, merely groaning once before stilling and falling silent.
Job done he stepped out into the street to see the page petting Omen and he gave a tired sigh as he moved closer. While he normally didn't have much problem in the way of knights, he knew Kioshi would be upset that Omen got into trouble on one of their first nights out on patrol. It was supposed to be a trade-off, each of them spending a patrol with the mauvian to see if they picked anyone up for recruitment.
"How unlucky you are..." Another sigh as he pulled his knives out, reading to throw one or punch the page if they got any thoughts of harming the oblivious mauvian.

This wasn't good, just as he knew it wouldn't be, but he did motion for the cat to move. Using his leg, rather than bending again, he looked down at the cat for a moment. "You really don't want to be here kitty." Not when this one decided to attack him, those knives telling him all he needed to know, as he backed up a step before catching himself. Yes, this was far more dangerous than his family memebrs and their threats...but still. He shouldn't go backing down so easily either.
He didn't have much but the letter opener he claimed as his was in his hand a moment later. "I don't know how I'm unlucky but I don't disagree." No, he'd more than agree, he had s**t luck, he knew he didn't have much going for him in terms of luck. He might as well just figure nothing would ever go his way unless he forced it - like suceeding in school. That was the only thing he had going for him and only because he was that dedicated to his schooling.
Bracing for whatever was going to come, the letter opener held out as if it he might threaten the other with the wooden object, it was the best he could do and he'd settle for that.

Omen scratched at them as they shooed him with their foot, how rude! He wasn't some street cat to be shoved and pushed around by anyone, especially someone who was the enemy apparently.
Darting off towards Stichtite, he circled the man and bumped his head into their shin even though it was covered by those big boots of theirs. "Sorry...." Apologizing softly for a moment before moving behind the blonde, he watched the sheepish-looking young man with the letter opener.
It wasn't something he really understood but he was learning quickly and really not liking it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
His eye twitched as they nudged Omen with their boot but when he saw the mauvian scratch at the page, it pulled a light chuckle from him. Unorthodox way to fight but he couldn't help but think of how Miyamoto also chose less than practical methods of attack.
Throwing one of the daggers forward, he aimed for their side, knowing that he could follow things up once that numbness settled into the page. He didn't really have the mind to kill them but he needed to do at least something to make sure Omen learned a lesson.
At least the page was smart enough to realize the trouble they were in. "Sorry about this." Moving forward after his dagger, he threw a right hook into their other side.

The cat talked! The ******** cat talked! Cats weren't supposed to talk, he knew that, but magic...but magic ashouldn't mean that suddenly cats could talk. The ywere still cats, right? For a moment he stared at the cat, ignoring the burn from being clawed and how he yanked his leg back and away from those sharp claws - that hurt. If they drew blood he didn't know, later he'd find out they had infact drawn blood.
The blade he didn't expect to be thrown, he was expecting the mtpo lunge for him, it was why he backed away rather than dodged to the side. The shock, and the pain, he pressed a hand to his side where the fabric have given wa yt othe blade. A thin trickle became more, as red liquid was felt under his hand and his fingers.
he felt the blood but he didn't feel the cut that he knew was there, he didn't know how bad it was, he just knew he was bleeding and that he was certain wasn't a good sign. Staggering back, and landing on the ground, when their fist connected with him the letter opener skittered across the ground. s**t, this was bad. He hoped they didn't do like that female had...
Gritting his teeth he tried to kick at them, even if he couldn't really feel himself all that well.

Running after the thing that skittered and tumbled over the ground, Omen pawed at it curiously for a moment while keeping enough distance from the downed page. He'd never seen Stichtite fight, hadn't thought it was something the doctor did considering they were a doctor but he got the message loud and clear that the feeling the page gave off wasn't one that his allies had.
Content with sitting on the object, he curled his tail over his feet and watched. Red eyes stared curiously at the scene as the captain walked forward.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taking steps forward, he felt the kicks coming clumsily and let one or two of them hit as he grabbed them by the lapel and dragged them up off the ground with one hand. It wasn't something he would have been able to do as a civilian but that extra kick of strength he got from being captain was useful in times like this.
Cold blue eyes stared down at the page as he dragged the knife close to their throat. He knew where he could cut without killing them, without losing too much blood. A threatening rusted edge against the skin there, teasing to bite into flesh. They wouldn't feel it because of the blade, be it a mercy or a cruel joke for the enemy, he didn't mind it either way. It meant less pain and less screaming to alert others.
"Don't ever touch that cat again, do you understand?" Pressing in just a bit to draw the smallest amount of blood for emphasis. With them held firmly, he lowered them enough to have their feet touch the ground. "Now run along."

He was tall, he knew it, and yet his feet hung in the air wand didn't touch the pacement. He felt the grip at his throat and how snug the fabric was about his neck. It was more than uncomfrotable, breathing wasn't so easy, as he stared at the blue eyes watching his own. The cold metal against his neck sent a shiver of fear through him.
He didn't get to do anything more than nod his head, as much as he dare nod, but once his feet were under him he did back up before leaving. He didn't want to take his eyes off the other, he didn't trust them, but he clearly needed to be out of this area. He'd have to keep this person in mind, so he could avoid them, he might have dealt with a lot but facing death hadn't been something he'd faced more than...twice now. He didn't want to do that again.
As he retreated, put enough distance between them that he didn't see them, he felt at his throat and pulled his fingers away with blood wetting them. "Damn." He'd need to fix that when he got home, at least he wouldn't need to explain it to anyone.
