Getting out of the house tonight hadn’t felt like it had gone as smoothly as it had all the other nights. Even as he hurried through the grass, part of him felt like he was being followed but he didn’t want to be late. It was less of a worry that the corrupt might turn on him and more of the fact he wanted to get back home and not worry Ian too much for having left at night again.

Standing in the clearing, he looked around and was glad not to see anyone following him. He felt that chaos signature again just as he was used to by now. Erinome wouldn’t say he was excited to see the corrupt but he was less nervous about things after the last few visits. Seeing how they mentioned him and wanted to make sure nobody else messed with him was reassuring and as long as he helped then things would be okay. Even if they felt a bit crazier than the others, at least they hadn’t tried to shove their hand in his chest which had put Villion firmly above at least two other corrupts.

“Villon?” He questioned as he looked around for them while holding onto the wrapped bundle of teas and fruits.

—------------------------------------------------

The state he arrived in was….Less than stellar, but at least he wasn't knocked out or had a messed up nose. As he made his way to the meeting spot where he usually met his healer moth, he paused, a scowl forming on his face. Why did he feel two signatures instead of the usual one? Instead of entering into the clearing, he sat among the trees, making sure he was camouflaged from view. Both order would be able to feel him yes, but a visual might be a bit difficult.

He would see if his moth had the intent to betray or if this was a sort of unfortunate accident.

For his healer’s sake, he hoped it was the latter. He'd really hate to make due on his original promise.

Ian had heard the other leaving, he’d not quite been asleep, there was that sweet spot between sleep and awake where thoughts drifted and he was aware of things but in a distant sort of way. He’d managed to pull himself out of that state and back to consciousness when he heard the other leaving. He’d followed, slowly at first, but soon enough he’d had to power up in order to keep up.

The fact that a certain moth didn’t sense him, didn’t know he was being followed, was concerning. Would he notice a chaos aura headed his way? When he saw the other stop, just inside some clearing, Chaldene could feel a chaos aura coming. Rolling his eyes he watched, waited, and the other didn’t even seem bothered by it. Did he not notice?

He knew whoever this was though, he’d called out a name, shaking his head he stepped out of where he’d been hiding. The soft glow of his brooch giving him away as he approached the smaller senshi. “You should at least let me know when you’re going out late at night, I can leave some food out for you then.” He was going to assume the other knew whoever this corrupt was, that they were safe, so he wasn’t scolding him. He’d question him later though.

“That chaos signature…you know it?”

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feeling an all too familiar signature coming up, Erinome started to fret and look around. He didn’t see Villion but he felt the senshi nearby and that had him worrying about that promise they’d made.

Tension and distress came over his features as he looked at Chaldene with wide and worried eyes. His hands fidgeted in the wrapped bundle he had, twisting the fabric nervously as he kept looking towards the trees.

Nodding to the question, he then nudged them away, trying to get them to go. “I’m okay.” At least he hoped he still might be but he wasn’t sure. “I help…” Admitting it slightly before stepping back a bit, keeping himself between the treeline and Chaldene.

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seeing the interaction between the two, Villon came to the conclusion that this was a happy accident. So that meant he wouldn't make due on his promise, but then again, this was also an….Eternal? So he would have to tread lightly anyway. Standing up, he dropped out of the tree, then teleported right in front of Erinome. The taller senshi squatted so that he was eye level, tilting his head. “You're not in trouble little moth. Followed you anyway, and I saw that you did not ask.” He cut his eyes to the other senshi behind him, the… ‘happy accident’, then looked right back at Erinome. “You remember the rules, yes? Do I have to worry about this one?”

If he didn't have to worry, then it would be the moth’s responsibility to make sure it stayed that way. So if anything out of pocket happened, then the moth would be responsible for the eternal’s death. Whether by his hands or his cousins, it didn't matter.

—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glad to know the other was ok, the eternal wrapped his arms about the small moth-like senshi, green eyes staring at the corrupt senshi that suddenly appeared. “You can keep helping…so long as this one.” Nodding his head to the corrupt he was watching. “Makes sure they don’t lay a finger on you.” He wasn’t an aggressive senshi, almost didn’t give a single s**t about this war even, but he also wasn’t going to let some corrupt hurt the much smaller senshi he was holding about the waist.

“I don’t give a s**t about this war, I haven’t powered up much in years.” Not till the little alien in his arms. He was speaking to the corrupt as he watched them carefully. “The only reason I power up is because this one.” Nodding to Erinome. “Asks me to. I’d rather occupy my time with other things.” Work, reading, gaming, hacking, and other things involving technology. He had a whole list of other things he’d much prefer spending his time on.

“So long as you don’t hurt Erinome I don’t care if he comes to help you, as he just said he’s helping you.”

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Watching Villon, he nodded. “No trouble.” At least he hoped it would stay that way even as Chaldene moved closer and wrapped their arms around him. His antennae still jittered nervously as he wrapped a hand over their arm. “M-m-mine.” Trying to say the same thing Villon had said to the redhead who had tried to fight him the other day. It didn’t have the same weight to it, given the fact he knew he wasn’t one who could really fight and he didn’t want Chaldene to try to fight either. It wasn’t something either of them were good at.

Thinking it might help, he held out the parcel of fruit. “Food, to help.” Something about an apple a day he saw in one of the videos the senshi behind him had showed him. “And healing?” Offering as he looked at Villon with more than a little worry on his face still.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahhh….That was…Cute.

He didn't….Like the subtle threat the other senshi gave, which earned him a narrowed glare. However, he turned his crazed blue eyes to the moth before him. “Yours hmm? I understand. As long as you remember the rules, what’s yours is protected.” It was cute to see the little senshi so protective, it's something that he would do if he were in the same position with Lily. It was something he could admire and understand at least. With the food offering, that got a bit of an amused chuckle, “Thank you.” he had something for him as well, pulling a box out of subspace. “Here. For you.” there would be flowers, various fruit, and a bottle of honey. His son was the one that put the box together for a project.

As for the healing, he only had minor scratches from the civi he took down earlier. The starseed was well worth the violence, but he supposed he shouldn't give that detail to the two before him. “I'm okay little moth. Thank you for the offer.”

Raising a brow at the corrupt, who was narrowing their eyes at him, he really didn’t care what they thought of this or of him. He was making things as clear as he could without starting a fight. It wasn’t necessary so he’d be avoiding it as best he could, he didn’t like to fight even if his magic was rather useful, Chaldene also didn’t figure Erinome would appreciate him getting into a fight. Watching the little moth in his arms offer over some food, knowing how much it meant to the other, the eternal knew whoever this corrupt was they were close to his little moth.

“Is this why you sneak out at night? You don’t do the best job of sneaking out, not always anyway.” Because some nights he really did crash and sleep like the dead, other nights Sasha woke him out when they snuck off.

“So long as he’s safe I’ll let him keep helping you. But no corrupting him and no harming him, though I don’t think I need to worry about you harming him.” He didn’t want the other corrupting also, it would defeat the others want to save his homeworld. “This might be a war, and he is a senshi, but he’s also more innocent than others.” And he was certain the other had noticed that, it was obvious. The other didn’t like bugs dealing with light bulbs…he couldn’t imagine if he saw a big zapper…he might cry.

Taking the box, he felt a bottle of something rolling around inside it and smiled as he relaxed a bit more. Honestly, he was glad Chaldene was here to get things across better than he did. It also meant that now he could worry a bit less about Chaldene since there would be fewer of those mean senshi and agent things to harm either of them.

Looking up and back towards Chaldene, he nodded. “Sorry…” He did feel bad, hearing that they had known he’d been doing it since he’d been trying to be careful. “Villon helped, stopped the meaner one.”

Then the mention of corruption had him stilling a bit then looking back over at Villon. “Phone home.” Gently pointing up towards the sky, he hadn’t been able to without worrying about missing the meetings, even if Villon wasn’t there most times. “Not often.”

—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phone home? Like ET?

Villon frowned in confusion then looked up at the stars. It didn't take him too long before he kind of put two and two together. Ah….I would make sense. While he feels no connection to his world, he was sure the opposite side would. Contemplating, Villon decided he could be…Good to his little moth and allow some ‘vacation’ time. “How long?” He was curious, the moth could take as long as he needs really. He didn't see himself getting into any more trouble at this point. “If you need to, little moth, you can go. Just meet me here whenever you are done.” He would check every day as if nothing changed. Besides, if his little moth forgot their deal well…..No telling what would happen to that Eternal he cares so much about.

Meaner one? He wanted to ask, and likely would later, but for now he looked the corrupt over. “Thank you, for saving him from whoever he’s talking about. Looking between the two he shook his head. “It’s not a matter of how long. We can only travel there every so often, we’re limited. And for us they aren’t capable of sustaining life. I’m sure you two can manage a form of communication so you know when he plans to travel. Assume he’ll be back the next evening. We can figure out something to make things easier.” He didn’t know what but there would be a way for this one, this corrupt, to reach out if he needed help.

There would, with ease, be a way for Erinome to reach out and let the other know when he wouldn’t be around to help. He’d work it out even if he didn’t like it. If this one had saved Erinome and so far hadn’t hurt him, likely because he was useful and willing to help without question, then Chaldene would accept it for now. It kept the other alive. He’d just make things easier.

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nodding along with Chaldene’s responses to Villon, he wanted to start trying to work on things again up there. Maybe he could root out that chaos that dug itself deep into the forest. There were so many places to look and he hadn’t been able to get it all done just yet.

“Ah!” Thinking about it, tried to trace a square in the air, thinking of those paper squares that Chaldene stuck to the fridge with words on them. “Stick paper? Over there!” Pointing to one of the trees that had a little board next to it, something that had been explained as a community board? He wasn’t sure but if he could leave a note there then that would be okay and he would return the next day just as Chaldene mentioned.

Erinome felt pretty pleased with that idea considering things and it also meant he could practice his writing a bit more. It was better than his speech, according to Chaldene but both weren’t up to snuff when it came to the humans here like the two senshi beside him.

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Considering that he was a very smart guy outside of his powered persona, Villon seemed to follow what Eri was saying. “Sure, leave a sticky note and I can read it.” Granted he wasn't sure if the moth could write given how he talked but as long as he got the basics down he would give it a shot. This Eternal senshi that was his…He would refrain from trying to remove him from the Earth since that would make his healer sad. While he doesn't mind hurting, he tried to take care of things he considers his. Looking to Eri, he nodded, “I'll look for your note then.”

With that, he teleported out with the intention of going home early.
