Growing up in a super artistic family, Jazz has inherited their parents’ love of art. Sure, they’re not old enough to do some of it alone, but that doesn’t mean they don’t do other kinds of art! They’re very hands-on with life and their creative outlook always shines through!

Despite struggling to talk sometimes, Jazz is a super friendly person. They love having friendly conversation and making friends. It is always good to know you’ve got people in your corner!

Even though Jazz is pretty easily scared, they’re more than happy to face each new challenge head on. They’re pretty used to taking a breath, steeling up, and doing their best against whatever they’re up against.

Whenever Jazz makes a friend, you can count on them to be loyal to the bitter end. They’ll be true and kind the whole way long. Of course, if you break the sacred oath of friendship, it’ll result in a complete and total loss of trust.... plus the “I’m not mad, just disappointed” look.

Jazz loves to play sports. They love to move and shake, especially if it is on a team. It’s all the more fun to work together, after all. They’re great at coordinating plays and rallying the players. Thankfully, they’re also a good sport!

Okay, so sometimes it’s pretty tricky to make friends. It’s worse if you have a speech impediment, but Jazz tries not to let that stop them. They’ll try their best and sometimes fail, but at least they tried, right?

Jazz was born “Jaslene Mya Blackthorne” to their parents, Bowen Alton & Zennia Ami Blackthorne. The couple were artists in their own right. Bowen found most of his time in a glassblowing hotshop while Zennia worked at a bakery. They were surprised by their pregnancy, but both were super excited anyway.

As Jazz grew, they were encouraged to do anything they could ever wish. And they’d for sure want to do art as well! It started with finger paints and mosaics, with more skills added in every which way. The little family grew, with Bowen being invited to showcase some of his glass sculptures in a local art museum. Zennia saved up enough to open her own little bakery, which meant they could take a step up in the world.

When Jazz was about six, they decided that they didn’t really fit the mold of “girly” like their fellow kindergarteners. Thankfully, their whole family was accepting, allowing them to explore themselves in a safe, loving environment.

It was several years later, living in their cozy house, that Jazz was notified that she was a witch. How insane was that?! She got to visit a place called Diagon Alley with a school Governess, and go shopping for some neat supplies! They’d get to go to a school called Hogwarts, and the only bad news was that it was pretty far from home. Otherwise, it was pretty awesome!
